Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I don't wish to sound boastful but I pride myself on my knowledge of the English language.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: What's there to say? I enjoy role play servers and fantasy has always interested me.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I'm currently in Japan on vacation but when I get home, at most up to 2 hours on weekdays, anytime on weekends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: A break from reality and a chance to be a different person.(Pretending as it were)

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I was in a roleplaying guild in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

What do you expect this server will be like?: That's a vague question, but I'm expecting a good community, given the requirements to get in, and lots of creativity. I've heard great things about this server from my sister.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on Raoroot.com but it was repeatedly griefed so I left. I had my own server for awhile but I lost interest and handed the responsibilities to my friends.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have indeed.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Of course!

How did you hear about us?: From my sister, penzin26. (Not her real name obviously.)

Character Name: Artimec_Akkaris

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Wood Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):11 Artimec Akkaris, 19, Wood elf and kin to Lumina Akkaris lived in a small hut located in the middle of the woods with his Mother, Father and younger sister Lumina. The Akarris family led a simple life of farming and pig herding. Artimec lived the hum drum day to day farmers life until one night a fight broke out between mother and father. As a result, the father left the farm with Lumina to go and live in the big city. Neither Artimec's father or Lumina where heard from again.

-----Years later, while running a search for a lost pig, Artimec stumbled upon a wandering enderman making off with a block of dirt, curious of this new creature he ventured forst to investigate, only to meet the gaze of the monster. As the enderman attacked, Artimec ran for his home to find his mother standing steadfast in front of the house holding her bow. "GO ARTI!" She yelled. Reluctant to leave his last family member, but terrified of the monster behind him, he fled deep into the forest, returning later to find his mother corpse next to a dead enderman.

-----With nothing left for him in the forest hut, he decided to follow in his father and sisters footsteps and head for the big city to strike big with naught but his deceased mother's bow and the clothes on his back. With a secondary objective, to find his lost family, praying that they still lived. This is the story of Artimec Akkaris.

-----Artimec is intelligent, cunning and calculating. Not one to take risks, he would not charge into battle without determining risk, consequence and possible results. Artimec is rather introverted, having grown up in a house in the woods. He also dislikes the privileged, authority and following orders, though he sees necessity in it at times. He has a rational fear of Endermen.

-----Artimec has dark brown hair, visible bags hang under his eyes, his sleep plagued by nightmares of the tall black figure. He stands at 5ft5in, weighing in at 140 pound.

What are your Character's ambitions?: To find his sister, and to make a wealthy living for himself in the city.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Artimec prefers the axe.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Artimec is an adept farmer and archer, he has also practiced in swordplay.

Other Information about your Character: He hates bell peppers. Especially the green ones.

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He would recognize the morally correct thing to do would be to interfere, he would first however, observe the situation. Are the two armed warriors law enforcement? Is the halfling a criminal perhaps? How well armed are the warriors exactly? Perhaps if he were familiar with the halfling he would rush to help but ultimately his own well being comes before strangers.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Artimec prefers the act of bartering as opposed the use of money. "Perhaps we can help each other." He would say, "would you perhaps be willing to part with that fine axe over there for seven of my quality melons?" Persistent he would be if the offer was refused, eventually walking away. Note that Artimec is willing to use money, just prefers barter.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Cringe at the memories behind a very similar hut in a very similar forest. Perhaps it would even be the same hut? As he walks inside he notices the great resemblances to the humble house he grew up in. His eyes mist up as he remembers his mother's final stand...Also he would take the sword and the iron, the hut would look abandoned anyways.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Artimec would return the greeting, and then bluntly ask for food. "Greetings, could you spare a bite?" He would say. Artimec means no offense in bluntness, as is often misunderstood by city folk and their fancy speech patterns.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: A reward would sound good to Artimec, but first he would ask questions. "Who exactly are these bandits? How dangerous are they? What is the reward for volunteering?" And less directly, "Just how expendable are we volunteering peasant folk?" If the risk were minimal and the reward substantial, than assist he would.

Anything else you would like to say?: When or if I get accepted please keep in mind I am currently on vacation in Asia and most likely won't be on on a regular basis for another two weeks or so. Nothing else other than that. I hope my character Artimec Akkaris is adequate enough for this server. Good day!
