The Arrival of a New Halfling

Poppy Took stumbles nervously off the boat to the vale. She slowly shuffles down the path to the main part of town, kicking dirt into the air. Poppy finds the town and cheekly smiles at the halflings her face a bright red. She looks down at her nail bitten hands rubbing her fingers on the rough edges. She looks back almost contemplating the ability of running off at this point. Poppy looks up taking a shallow breath and looking through the crowd before talking in a slightly louder version of her usual whisper.

'Ello there. Me name's Poppy Took. I came te live 'ere.

She looks down again shuffling with her feet trying not to get tripped up in them. She closes her eyes looking back up at the crowd.

"Oh....Thank fo' ye time."

Looks around at the other halflings who are dumbfounded by the new arrivals beauty. Takes a step forth with an extended hand*

Nice te meet ye Ms. Took I'm Aris Snowbird! Why dun I take yer bags and we can head on over te the Drunken sheep. Ye must be at least a wee bit tired er 'ungry after sailing te seas.

Poppy blinks wildly at the direction of the man who stepped forward from the group, her face turning a deep shade of crimson red.

"Thank ye Mr. Snowbird."

Poppy looks around at the rest of the crowd breathing quickly. She closes her eyes slightly muttering to herself, before opening her eyes and nodding.

"That sounds very nice. Ye very kind to offer, I am a wee bit tired."

Poppy smiles handing over a small sack of supplies.

*Behind them, a odd figure enters the town. He's taller then a halfling should be. He has black clothing, his hair is black, long and shaggy, his eyes are deep green. His body is a bit athletic and he would look handsome, if he wasn't dirty and clothes covered with dust. Halfling who pass him stare at him. He looks his feet and walks silently. Suddenly he sees the redhaired girl with who he was on the same boat. He also sees people who she is talking with. He start's to take longer steps, trying not to make eye contact with anyone.*

(character who i just ruddly step in, is a halfling and really shy... even for a halfling... oh, also 1. he's based on me 2. he's ill. Also sorry strawberry that you need to wait for us. That's RP saddly.)
