Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

I'd check my coin purse. If i had enough Minas, I would go over and greet the man with a, "Hello there, friend!". After that, I'd ask the Dwarf about the quality of his products. I'd then haggle with him to lower the cost. Once I purchased it, I'd go the the area with the highest population of wealthy people, and sell the gear again for a higher price.. More Minas for me!

You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I go an wake the nearby monk, but quietly so the Orc doesn't notice me. After that, I'd tell the monk where the Orc and Dwarf are fighting, "There is a fight on one of the bridges. It seems the Orc is mugging a dwarf". I'd lead the monk, and help break the fight, possibly by tackling or restraining the aggressor. Then, I'd ask the victim questions, seeing why the restrained thief was trying to harm the person. After that, I'd ask if the monks could restrain the thief and call some guards from the area to then bring him to jail.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:

I say, "Do you need any help sir?" and lift him back on his feet and hand him the coin purse. I'd then ask, "where are you going?" and walk with him to his destination. I don't want any trouble with the law, so becoming friends with a man who has that amount of Minas is a person I want to befriend! I'd leave him at the front gate of the castle or city he was travelling to, and ask if he had a home there. If he did, I'd politely try to ask if I could spend the night there. That gives me one day with a roof over my head!
