Free The Hobbits 859 Share Posted October 3, 2012 VILLAGE CHARTER MC Name: UrtrollingBuddy RP Name: Splicer Flathorn Village Name: Raurksville (rawr-ks-ville) Why is your character starting this village/settlement? What is its purpose?: Splicer walks away in disgust of the filth and poverty that the people of Oren live by. Wandering for many hours Splicer comes across a small desert bay. A bay far from the plauge that is Oren free from judgement a place to call home. He rushes home to tell his friends and anyone else in sanctuary. Everyone gathers around people of all gender's, races, and beliefs. They follow Splicer to help him build up a refuge a safe haven, somewhere to express themselves freely without a care for Oren. Raurksville will provide a safe haven. In addition it will also be used to create a canal system through the wilds bringing it's citizens water and transportation. What type of political system or leadership is within the village?: Raurksville's political system has a head council containing 1 diplomat for each race in the town. This council will decide on changes to the town as well as discuss any and all events that happen in the town. These diplomat's all have equal power and are led by a Chief Justice. He's like a Count however he is the one who controls and conducts Head Council meetings and does not maintain full power. What sort of behavior will residents exhibit? (Race relations, nation relations, etc.) Every and all race will be treated as equals. The town is an independent town free from the control of any nation giving the citizens more freedom to express themselves through arts or studies. Where would you prefer the town’s region be? Including a screenshot of the land would be nice (of game or map). http://imgur.com/Pb5iN,Oq0Aa,lWjhV,a6ug9 coord: x: 57.64 y: 64 z: 3195.31 Any other details (architecture, races, culture, etc): architecture: http://imgur.com/HDIHJ,bdurz,9eIDp,d2zwA I'm trying to go for a "roman" arch and compact but spacious design. It's just a small home to show what the others will look like. (bigger ones to come) Players who have agreed to sign this charter (5 name minimum): BlockMax11
Nethrel 38 Share Posted October 3, 2012 This village has the same identical meanings and reasons for forming as Rhunia apart from the fact they differ in culture. I strongly suggest joining them as I see no purpose of creation in this I'm afraid. However if creating a civilisation means something dearly to you then think outside the box and change its purpose, conjure up a Lore, do something that'll open people's eyes to a new direction within the LotC Charter system. Other than that, a well structured and presented Charter, just needs something we don't already have :
cruzazul 2815 Share Posted October 3, 2012 Khabbi has a political system almost exactly like this. If you wish to become free from the "wrath" of Oren, I suggest you join either Khabbi or one of the other numerous towns that were founded for your exact same reason instead of making a town that is pretty identical to other already founded towns. Free The Hobbits 859 Author Share Posted October 3, 2012 In all honesty I never meant to copy someone else's idea's, maybe it's because I haven't been a part of the community for that long. I'm making the town still. If you want to join just sign.
Xem - The Gentleman 18 Share Posted October 3, 2012 The town sounds like a good idea, no reason for not having more towns against Oren. I already live in a town like it but that doesn;t mean there can;t be more towns like towns that already exist.

cruzazul 2815 Share Posted October 3, 2012 Yeah but that will potentially create more ghost towns which is what we are trying to get rid of. I don't have problem with your idea I just think you should explore asulon and see some of the other towns that have the same ideas.
