Have you had any previous experience in roleplaying?: Yes. Have you read and understood and agree to the rules?: Yes. How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: Spitfyre7Kira Link any previous applications you have made to the Lord of the Craft: N/A Have you posted this application on Minecraft Forum? It is a lot like writing a book where everyone only writes for their characters. In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is using ooc information ic, such as planning on skype, teamspeak, or in tells, exchanging information you don’t know, and then acting on that information. In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-gaming is forcing others to abide by your will. Ex: Jack slits jills throat, rather than Jack tries to slit jills throat. (The described action is obviously also a villainous act which would require a VA) In-Character Details Character Name: Agnor Tunnelsmasher (http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/68097-the-tunnelsmasher-clan/page__pid__587524__st__20#entry587524 accepted clan app.) Character Race: Dwarf Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Personality: Agnor is a fairly polite and well mannered dwarf, perhaps not the best fit in dwarven society. He does his best to be intelligent and wise, even though he only really cares for smithing. He tends to consider all other races below dwarves, and would go as far as to make sure they know it. Bio: Agnor is a third generation Tunnelsmasher, son of Thaer & Eyja Tunnelsmasher, Thaer who is then one of the many children of Stenvar Tunnelsmasher. Stenvar is of the first generation of the clan, having had many mates over the years the one who birthed Thaer being Rikke Tunnelsmasher, Stenvar’s third wife. Agnors father, 3rd son of Stenvar, had after passing into adult hood, moved. Thaer settled as a mountain dwarf, who mined for a living. When Agnor was born Thaer knew he did not want his child to be another dwarf, pulling rock out of the earth for others greed. Rather Thaer, upon Agnor being old enough, sought out and hired a teacher for his son, Agnor would become an apprentice smith. Perhaps then he could change the stone into something beautiful, rather then having to haul it out of the earth for others. Agnor was sent to human lands, to study with a village smith, no dwarf having been willing to take in the child as a student for meager payment. The human, in exchange for raw materials from Thaer, taught Agnor the tricks of melting down a chunk of iron, and shaping it. The years passed as Agnor grew in knowledge of shaping earth, Agnor was prepared for his life ahead of him, more so than he could dream. He received a letter from Eorlund, an elder of the clan, a summons to Karik. Agnor, having learned his trade prepared to set off for Karik, where he would re-unite with his clan and face the book. After proving his relation to the clan, he has been told he will be permitted to live in Kariks Tunnelsmasher district. What are your characters ambitions?: Agnor wishes to smith something that will last thousands of years, and become a noted piece of smithing history. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg121/animecrazy185/2012-10-09_142442.png Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Nope Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Agnor looks around as he enters the pitiful city of Arethor, the human architecture really was a shame. Too bad they weren’t dwarves, too bad everyone wasn’t a dwarf. Wouldn’t that be a great world to live in? Agnor approaches one of the shops, seeing one of his kin running the place of business. “Oi, lad. what’re you doin sellin here, in Arethor of all places?” The shop keep gives a small chuckle. “T’ese ‘umans, some of ‘em realleh suck at tradin’ so eh was ‘opin t’ah make eh beht ‘o coin.” Agnor now joins in some of the laughter. “Your get rich quick scheme eh?” “Aye, know what can eh do yah fer?” Agnor shifts to bring about his mina pouch. “Yer bes’ mug ‘o ale!” Agnor boasts as chucking the appropriate amount of mina upon the table. The other dwarf chuckles as well, pouring ale into a worn wooden mug. “Yeh bring meh back the mug aye?” “Aye!” Agnor says as he turns to continue through Arethor, chugging his ale merrily. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Agnor walks down the road at a steady pace, keeping his eyes open, and his belly full with the occasional hunk of meat. He spots the large grimy orc, harassing one of his kin nearby. Agnor huffed, watching from a bit of a distance as the scene continued for a moment. The orc draws his axe, and brings it down in a swoop against the other dwarf. Agnor, in a rage at the action of the orc, the lowest race of ‘em all attacking his kin. Agnor charges head on yelling some incomprehensible dwarven grumbles. He body slams the orc in the back of the leg, taking the orc down on one knee, surprised to see another shortling. Agnor bites the orcs thigh as hard as he can, as the orc lets out a horrid roar mixed with saliva. He then crawls up the orcs back while the other dwarf charges and rams his stomach. Agnor throws a full force blow into the back of the orcs head as it yells some orcish jabber, nearly immediately more orcs can be seen coming. Agnor jumps off the orc and runs as fast as he can in the opposite direction, hoping the other dwarf found his way Agnor continues on to his destination. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Agnor looks on in a slight bit of shock, that any old man would walk with a frail stick for one, and two simply because it was surprising. Agnor rushes to the side of the old man, “Oi, yah alive there?” The old man groans in pain, and it becomes apparent he was hurt in the fall. Agnor bends down, quickly shuffling as many minas as he can back into the pouch, then giving it back to the man, who was likely too disoriented to care too much. At least not immediately. Agnor bent down, holding his arm out to help the man up. The old mans body was too frail to stand at this point, so Agnor lifted the man up on his shoulder. Slowly the two marched like that, the man half dragging on the ground due to Agnors short stature. Agnor brings him to Malinor, and leaves him in the care of the elves.
