Volutional 935 Share Posted October 24, 2012 An extract from the diary of Marcys Nightscar - Easily found midst the Cloud Temple's walls, sometimes left by Marcys by accident Flame Fire is something each being will relate to in their time. Be it birth at day, the sun scorching the scalp of a newly born child. Or be it the burn of love hence crushed. We will and all have felt it at some point. But is it really something that can be defined just by a name? A weapon Many times before myself have I seen many versions of this element used in warfare. Hurdled into castles or fired from longbows. There are little who fully understand what fire is really doing to their victim. A tool The cinders are a hot substance for a reason - to deter those who come near it. A volcano contains fire in rock and liquid form. It releases it's weapon when enemies draw near - protecting what lies inside but an entrance to great caves and mines. If you were to harness such power, wouldn't you call yourself a God straight out of the carriage? A meaning of peace Fire is so well connected with it's maker, Daemons. When most of us believe them to be evil, there are few of us left who trust them otherwise. They swerve around without you knowing. Each flame is a tool of peace, a weapon of the creator. And once it ignites it will burn until it's task is complete. Idriel My dear Mother, the brightest flame if I'd ever laid eyes on a strong heart-ed women. She opposed the will to rise up against what she thought was wrong, and protect what she knew to be right. What lay in the middle was burned as it had no purpose in the balance. She was a Daemon in my eyes. Dear Mother, my only light in the coming darkness. A women of fire and of red. A night that shall hence scar the futures of many. - Marcys Nightscar
