In-Character Details Character Name: George Franklin Character Race: Human Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: George Franklin was a middle-aged man with brown hair and brown eyes. He stood at 5’9” and weighed 220 pounds, and his skin was a light colored peach. George Franklin was born in town of Dunwood, a town full of Halflings. His mother and father, Maggy and Frank, were traders who went from town to town selling their goods that they caught while hunting. They were two average looking humans; they both had brown hair and eyes, and were each around 5’10”. When George Franklin was born, they stayed in the town of Dunwood for a couple days before heading back home to Daemon. As a boy, around the age of 7, George would spend most of his time trying to read. His mother was teaching him how to read and write, and George was doing okay for his age. He was able to write down his name and spell out simple words. When he turned 12, George knew how to read and write in the English language and was being brought out to learn how to hunt from his father. His father, Frank bought George his first bow when he was 12 and taught him how to work it. George learned how to string the bow, and fire arrows. When he first started, his father setup fake owls and deer for him to aim at. His aim wasn’t the best at first, but his father told him to practice everyday and he would be as good as him. Now George was 18 years old and knew everything his parent’s knew about hunting and collecting wares. On his birthday, the whole family was traveling to Malinor to try and sell some wolf meat and other goods to some elves. The family was armed with their arrows and swords and halfway there to Malinor, a group large group of elves appeared. They were all armed and spoke quickly to George and his family. The elves wanted all their wares and minas and once they were handed over, they could go through to Malinor. Frank told George to go to the back of the carriage and give the elves everything. George did so and handed them all their meat and fur, along with a small bag of minas. The elves quickly ripped it from George’s hands and ran off into the forest. The family continued on to Malinor, very sad and concerned about what just happened. That was their catch for the year, and had to find another way to earn some minas so they could survive. Years passed, and the family was know working in a small shop in Arethor. They sold everything they could get like food, weapons, and fur. George was 23 years old and had to work at the shop to help his family make some money and put food on the table. They lived in a small house in Arethor and were barley making it by. George knew he didn’t want to live with his parent’s forever, but he had to help them get by. A couple months passed and he had a talk with his mother about him moving out. His mother wasn’t happy, but she agreed. Frank, George’s father, agreed as well, telling George they were going to be okay without him. That day George packed all of his clothing and some food, and left the city of Arethor and headed out. He moved into the forest outside Malinor and setup a small cabin there, which he planned to live for the rest of his life. He lived off the land, using the teachings his father told him to gather food and supplies. Once every month he would travel off to other cities and sell his goods to earn some money. He would visit his parent’s often and bring them some minas from time to time to help them out. He did this for many years, and when he turned 31, something happened. He had collected many wares this month and wanted to make a good amount of minas. So George decided he was going to visit the city of Karik. When he arrived at the city, he saw an empty location and decided to set up a stand and begin selling. A couple days passed and he was out of goods to sell. He packed up his stand and before he was done a short dwarf came up to him. He spoke to him very quietly, telling him to take this small bag of minas. George took the bag of minas and opened it, there was about 20 minas inside and he didn’t know why the man gave it to him. He didn’t think to much about it, but he went after the man, yelling for him to stop. The man turned around to George and George handed him the minas back. He told him he didn’t want the minas back, but George just placed it in one of the man’s pockets and walked back over to his stand and carriage and took off, back home. Now George spends his days hunting and selling goods all over Asulon. What are your characters ambitions?: George wants to become a well known trader around Asulon and meet new friends along the way. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: George is a very brave and proud man. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? "It is a very bright and sunny day," I thought as I walked up the small stand in Arethor. I took a look at the wares and noticed a dwarf was running the stand. I looked down once more at the wares and noticed a good looking bow. I thought I could get this for a good price and get this dwarf some money. I spoke to the dwarf in a soft voice, "Well hello there, this doesn't look like a place for a poor dwarf to sell his goods." The dwarf then replied to me, "I am not bothering anyone and I am just trying to earn a living, please leave me alone." I then said to him, "I am not here to threaten you or kick you out, I am here to buy that bow you are selling. How much might it be?" The dwarf jumped for joy and spoke very quickly, "Only 18 minas, sir." I reached into my pocket and grabbed what I had and placed it on the table. "I only have 15 minas, will that do?" The dwarf nodded to me and quickly grabbed the minas and handed me the sword. "Well, thank you dwarf, before I go, may I ask what your name is?" The dwarf said to me, "My name is Gerald." I nodded to him and walked off with my bow. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I walked up to the Orc and dwarf and I spoke very loud to them, “What seems to the problem here?” The dwarf turned to me and began talking quickly, “I, uh… I was walking by and tripped on this twig and fell on this Orcs… uh herbs.” The dwarf sounded nervous and scared, I then reached over my back and drew my bow. I said to the Orc, “Leave him alone, it was an accident. I don’t want anyone to get hurt.” The Orc just shook his heads towards me and said, “Bruback klomp shara!” I stepped a few feet back, not knowing what the Orc meant. I then nodded to the dwarf, and drew an arrow and pulled it back on the bow, attempting to hit the Orc in the foot. I sighed and yelled "Run!" to the dwarf as I noticed the arrow missed the Orc's foot. I then turned around and ran towards a small box and hid behind it. I looked over the box and saw the Orc running towards me. I quickly moved from the box and ran to a tree in the forest, I peered around the corner and watched as the Orc smashed the box. I grabbed another arrow from my back and pulled it back on the bow. The Orc was running around and moving to much, so I couldn't get a clear shot. I looked around and noticed the dwarf was gone, so I put the arrow back and decided I would just run and get away. As I was about to the run, the Orc charged the tree head first that I was hiding behind. I just stood there, waiting to see if the Orc would hit the tree. Seconds later I heard a loud noise and cracking, the tree was falling and the Orc was on the ground. I scurried out of the way from the falling tree, barely making it. I looked back at the Orc and thought it most of knocked it's self out from hitting the tree. I sighed a sigh of relief and quickly ran down the road. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: As I as walking down to Malinor, I thought to myself about how I was going to get my food this week. Half way through my walk, I noticed an old man walking in the other direction. As I passed him, I heard a snap and a scream. I turned around quickly and saw the old man on the ground and his minas all over the ground. I ran up to him and said, "Are you alright? You look hurt." The old man said to me in a weak voice, "I am fine, but I can't walk without that stick." I looked around and noticed no one around, I took a small extra bag I had and began collecting the minas on the ground. The old man yelled, "Don't take my minas! Please that's all I have." I said to him, "Shh, I am not taking anything, just collecting them for you so they don't get lost or stolen." I then walked off to the nearest tree and ripped off a long sturdy branch and walked back over to the man. "Here, this should help you get back home." I handed him the stick and the bag of minas, and got him off the ground. The old man nodded to me and said, "Thank you young man, I will never forget this." I nodded back to him and continued my walk towards Malinor.
