How did you hear about the Lordof the Craft?: I learnt about lord of the craft from my friends, they said it’s very fun and that it is a good experience. So I read a lot of lord of the craft and I think it will be an amazing experience for me, like it was for my friends.

In your own words, define whatthe act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is a way to interact and playwith people using intricate storylines and character creation.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is using knowledge learned outside of the game inside the game, for example going to the mages guild having found out outside of character.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is forcing an action upon another player without giving them time to react and being unfair or unrealistic in role-play. For example Arthur stabs James killing him instantly.

In-CharacterDetails

Character Name: Arthur Darksage.

Character Race: Human.

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history,appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:Arthur has light brown hair, dark blue eyes and a beard. He has a very stubborn personality, and has a tendency to disagree with the people who take care for him. Even though he constantly disagrees with his family he loves them very much and would do anything for them. His ambition is to become a knight and become re-united with his parents.

Arthur had an ambition to become a knight since he was five years old but his father wanted him to stay at his home farm and work. When Arthur was ten years old he decided to confront his father but his father disagreed with him about his ambition once again. Arthur got his stubborn personality by his father and since neither of them would give up, they had a huge argument,which ended in Arthur being in tears. Arthur was walking home from the farm after the argument when he heard something coming from the forest. Arthur went to investigate, but before he could scream Arthur was shoved into a bag and brought to a carriage where he was blind folded with a cloth.

Arthur was brought miles out of his village to a cellar under a large stone house where he was tortured constantly. He was very malnourished because his captors never fed him. For years and years he planned to escape from the cellar. On his 18th birthday he was led out of his cellar by one of his captor’s and led into a room filled with torture tools.When his captor turned around he quickly grabbed one of the torture tools and attempted to stab him in the back only to fail and hit his hip, luckily the man had fallen because he was most weak and vulnerable. Arthur then got a hammer from the table and swung it hitting the man in the back. As soon as he was lying on the ground dead Arthur took the key that would lead him to his freedom from the man’s robes. He then swapped his clothes with his dead captor and he then took a knife from the table. Nervously but quickly Arthur got out of the cellar and the house without any of his other captors seeing him. He then ran into the forest to start a new life.

For many years he travelled through the forest living off berries and apples that grew from the trees. At night when he camped under a tree or in open space, to pass the time he practiced his sword skill using his blade. When he was at the age of 23 he set foot on cloud temple where he was healed by the monks. He read books from the library to get information on how to practice his swordsmanship, so that one day when he was strong, smart and a knight he could return to his village and show his parents and family that he is alive and well.

What are your characters ambitions?: My characters ambition is to become a knight and be re-united with his family that he hasn't seen for many years.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Arthur is mostly good with a blade,he doesn't like using really anything else. He loves fighting and would happily go into battle if he had the choice to.

Open-Response-Questions

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? First he looks at his wares to see what he has in stock. Unimpressed he turns to leave when he begins to feel sympathetic. He decides only to buy something small and not too expensive. He buys a tattered book called “Brief history of Asulon” and gives the dwarf a small of five minas. After he walks away and then throws the book back into the shop, not needing it.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon,what does your character do? My character runs in and attempts to distract the orc while signalling to the dwarf to run. The dwarf sees what I am doing and runs off quickly. The orc notices that the dwarf has run and growls at me looking very displeased but not knowing what I had done. I not wanting to go into battle alone, says goodbye to the orc hoping to be let go. Unsurprisingly the orc charges forward shouting presumably curses. I not wanting to get badly injured, swiftly I run to the side but sadly I am too slow and I get hit in the thy by the orc’s arm. I fall to the ground looking helplessly at the orc. Luckily guards come down the path stopping the fight but leaving me on the ground. I sigh pulling myself up from the ground, secretly relieved that they came.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground,and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: My character sees the old man feeling very sympathetic. He firstly picks up the minas and puts it into a small bag that he had spare. My character then helps the old man up and sits him down by a tree.My character then asks if he is alright.

The old man replies with a smile. “I’m sure I will live.”

My character then smiles back and breaks off a sturdy but almost broken branch of a tree with his blade and hands it and the bag of minas to the old man. The old man thanks him and is then off again. My character waves to him with a smile, happy he had helped him.
