Diri/GreenKoopaBros 58 Share Posted November 9, 2012 Waddling up the steps that led to the farm appointed to him, Bifor stopped as the gate was down and locked. Thinking this only a precaution, he went down to the other pathway that led to the Lumberyard, only to find that it, too, was locked. Bifor Frowned curiously before turning back around and heading back into the city. Upon finding Hiebe, he approached him. "'eh, 'iebeh, Oi was on mah weh tuh deh farm. Buh' sum'un 'as lowered 'nd locked deh gates. Yeh knuh anehtin' 'bout dis?"

Diri/GreenKoopaBros 58 Author Share Posted November 9, 2012 Thinking to speak up, having spent at least a month on that farm, he stopped himself, knowing that raising his voice to his king was not in his best interests. Instead, he took a deep breath, letting it go, and nodded, smiling. "Oi tank yeh, Sire. Oi 'aven't been able tuh foind aneh'un in yer foine kingdom tuh 'elp meh wit moi tools." Pulling a Hoe of Dwarven crafted Iron, the head was easily seen wobbling on it's handle, the Iron faded with a month of vigorous Farming. "See what oi mean? 'nd Oi cannae foind ah Cahpentah 'r ah smith among aneh'v dem. If'n it seems fit tuh yeh tuh provoide meh wit ah new Spade 'r two, Oi can make duh wit teh 'oes'v stone that Oi's given." Diri/GreenKoopaBros 58 Author Share Posted November 11, 2012 Following Hiebe out of the Capitol entrance, a right turn took them through the farm that he had labored on for nearly over a month, now. He had felt so accomplished that he had turned such a hill-bound terrain into fertile land. So many questions were on his mind, but he kept them to himself, knowing that the king must have a good reason to force him to stop his farming. They came under the archway that opened into the Old dock area. Looking upon the Lumberyard, wondering why Hiebe had led him there, he looked to the king questioningly. What he heard, only made more questions bubble in his mind. "Yer sayin' dat Oi 'ave tuh move dah fahm 'ere, 'cause ah group called dah "wolves" wan' deir land back?" He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Looking to the Lumberyard again, he let the size of it sink in. "'nd 'cause'v dat, yeh wan' meh tuh turn dis intuh the Fahm, instead? Soir, if Oi'm permitted tuh ask, why did dese "Wolves" abandon dat fahm in dah firs' place?" Bifor knew that turning something like the lumberyard into a farm, was going to easily be more challenging than the hill he had dug up. Thinking about it, chopping tree's wasn't really a strong suit of his. But, thinking of managing all of those root systems that had to have linked to cause trouble, the idea of any of this, didn't seem like a fair trade to him. "Alsuh" He said, talking to cover the thoughts that whirled in his mind, he continued on. "Oi 'eard tell dat dah Tavern doesn' 'ave ah vereh dedicated Keep. When Oi'm able tuh get dis new fahm fertoil and growin'. Could Oi...Mehbeh...take over dah job'v keepin' dah Tavern?"
Diri/GreenKoopaBros 58 Author Share Posted November 12, 2012 Rather unnerved by how quiet the king was, Bifor suddenly looked around. Seeing no one, his gaze returned to Hiebe, befuddled by the Kings odd behaviour. "Soir. 's evertin' ahroit?"

Diri/GreenKoopaBros 58 Author Share Posted November 12, 2012 Noticing that Hiebe left out his question about the "Wolves", he almost asked again, but decided to keep quiet. It must be a Subject that the King was rather sore about, he surmised.
