In-Character Details

Character Name: Setanta Gladium

Character Race: Dwarf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Setanta comes from a family of criminals which dates back to the beginning of Asulon, everyone since then has been involved in some sort of crime, except him. Everyone expects that since he is a Gladium he is a villan and they do not want him living anywhere near them. Setanta finds this truely unfair as he has lived his life honestly and has never commited any crimes. Now that Setanta is 18 he can finally move out from his parents Medb and Oisín and begin his new life as an honest dwarf and try and show people that just because he is a Gladium he can still be a hero. Setanta currently is aiming to be a farmer after he finishes his long struggle to clear his name from everyones blacklist.

Setanta's parents were cruel to him during his childhood as he was different from the rest of that family because he did not enter the family industry of evil. Their cruelty has etched memories into his mind and his hair. The reason I mention his hair is when he was younger his father forced him to dye his hair blonde by soaking it in lime water. Setanta has finally escaped his torturous childhood and is looking foreword to life as an dwarf.

What are your characters ambitions?: To clear his name and become a successful Miner

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

Setanta enters the shop and takes a look around and views a lovely suit of iron armor hanging on the wall, he walks over to it to take a closer look. Then he sees the price tag agd thinks "NO, what a lovely suit of armor but I cannot afford it!". He then leaves the shop. A few days later he comes back to the shop with the money he saved for the suit of armor and buys it.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

He stands up for his fellow dwarf but try to prevent violence, as Setanta likes to be more vocal that violent. He then askes the Orc "What is the matter?" the orc responds with "This Dwarf has been annoying me all day by standing there outside my house", Setanta says "Mabye you two could make peace just for once and just forget about this occurrence and in the future be more careful" he says to the both of them. Then Setanta continues on.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Setanta pickes up the Minas and hands them to the old man, then he asks "Are you ok, is there anything I can do to help", the man says "Yes, could you please use these Minas to fetch me a new walking stick". Setanta refuses to use this poor old man's money and buys the walking stick with his own money and gives it to the old man. "Thank you so much!!!" the old man says.

• Your meta-gaming definition is incorrect as it goes a little off track towards the end, you are getting the OOC section correct, just revise a little on what the action of meta-gaming actually is and perhaps add an example.
  
  
• Your power-emoting definition is a bit vague and I cannot really tell if you know what you are doing when it comes to power-emoting, which is key for playing on LoTC. I would love to see more detail in this definition in addition to an example.
  
  
• Although you have used Asulon in your application, it would be brilliant to see more place specific lore within your application. Maybe you could use the Dwarvern fortress where your character hails from, etc.
  
  
• Your open response questions are a bit vague and could use extra detail and expansion.
