Halflings on the Temp. Server!

(( Alrighty! So, this post is basically going to be about everything the halflings do on the temp. server! From OOC suggestions, to RP rambling! My goal here is to bring us together a bit, as it seems all the halflings have dispersed or just plain disappeared. :o I know you Elders are on the build server, making 3.0 a better place! ;) However, I would like to see a couple more halflings just get on and have a mug o' ale er two with EACH OTHER! Not by themselves! :P I'll hopefully be updating this main post with extra shtuffs when they pop up! Feel free to give tips on what we should do next! Or something else I should add to here! :D ))

(( First off, here's a tiny scrapple on our village for those of you who might've not even known that we had one! I know, Aris made a post on this already, but.. Phooey. ))

Loretta Peppertoe stomps through the snow, surrounded by the layers upon layers upon layers of it. After a somewhat short while of walking, she shovels her way to the shipwreck, staring at the tall pillar in which a small sign saying something about taking boats is placed. On this pillar, she nails multiple flyers with maps attached. Their contents look like so:

The writing on this document looks childlike and has a good amount of misspelled words, as though written by a fairly illiterate person. The painting looks blotchy with splashes of random color all around, however seems oddly welcoming.

Come all ye' halflings ter our lovely settlement:

Brookfields!

Here, thar be food, ale, farms, shovels, n' all sorts o' halfling-like thingmabobs! We even got a handful o' vacant burrows n' job openings! Hope ter see ye' soon!

A tiny map is drawn on the bottom, along with a description of the path. "Go from here ter Twinbuck! If ye' get ter the openin', thar should be a sign pointin' towards Brookfields. If not.. Jus' follow the map, aye?" (( x: 421 z: 373 ))

Loretta, after placing her flyers, bumbles back towards town with one more paper in her hands. Once back in Brookfields, she sticks the slightly large piece of parchment onto the notice board, examining it quietly. It reads:

*Daisy Flowerpetal walks by this. She stops to read it, not noticing any mistakes in the writing. She quickly runs back to the hole she's been keeping all her supplies in and grabs a quill, some paper, and some ink. The ink is colored red, looking to be made of rose and berry juice. She sprints as fast as her little legs can carry her back to the note and jots down in her neatest handwriting under the 'Cooks' category*

*Nial Bigtoes sees the flyers, and happy for seeing that the haflings are still alive, takes one and follows the map. In some hours he decides he was lost because that was the first time using a map before. He decides to return to the shipwreck, maybe he can see a hafling there.*
