In-Character Details

Character Name:Theoden IronAxeCharacter Race:Mountain DwarfCharacter biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:Theoden was just a regular mountain dwarf he has fiery red hair and a light skin complexion and seemingly gentle blue eyes and a dark red tunic with a pair of pants with a varying array of colors.

Theoden was the son of a noble in the Grandaxe clan and had a happy life seeing his father go off on the dwarf-orc wars and coming back made his childhood quite careless but one day a group of slave-traders found him in the woods by himself and chased him when they found him of course he fought back a hit one of them men with his small axe and barely making a dent in the traders armor. So the traders took him far away to one of the cities he had never seen before the city of Galahar. In Galahar he was traded as a soldier trainee to the towns military were he learned respect, discipline, and most of all to be a soldier. He spent 15 years as a city guard were he encountered many undead and became the best guard in the city. Now 27 which is still early for dwarves he left the city of his own freewill since he had been given freedom to leave 4 months ago he sought the traders who had captured him at his home. 6 months later he found them deep in the woods and he demanded they bring him back to his home stunned the traders agreed. It was a 2 week journey back to the Grandaxe keep and when he finally got there he found out that his family had went searching for him in a nearby cave and mined down into a ravine and died. Shocked of his families loss he went to his old house finding it had already been sold. Now with no were else to go he just walked outside of the Grandaxe capital since he was a beardling still and set up camp in the nearest place he could remember was safest usually so he set up camps in the forest. For 2 days he just sat there astonished he had nowhere to go. On the 3rd day some wood elves found him and fed him trying to comfort his pain even know they were gone frequently it helped his mind think and helped him act on the subjects that trouble him. Theoden now wishes he could find a place were no one was evil and with giant monuments and a big forest and were he could be the kind ruler and made kind laws. Theoden spends most of his time now trying to find work to make his dream come true and is adapted to most anyplace other than his home.

Theoden is a smart dwarf with knowledge of architecture, fighting, and defense. He's smart, cunning, kind, strategic, pitiful, a tactician, and aggressive.What are your characters ambitions?:My character dreams of making a giant city were everyone is equal and he is the kind king not asking too much or too little of the people.Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here:Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:He is kind-hearted and brave.

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?Even know Theoden is also poor he would spare a couple of his Minas's to the struggling dwarf as if saying it's hard everywhere but some people are still willing to help you in your time of need. He may also say that if we work together everyone would have jobs we could build a marvelous citadel of a city better than any ever seen from heaven to earth. The dwarf would have a wonderful glare in his eyes showing he would love that but then that gaze saddens and he says it would take a million years to build and a million more to fund it. Theoden responds it would only be 500,000 if we work together. Now the dwarf laughs and hands Theoden his week pay saying tell me when you build this city and I will trade there. Theoden would proceed to walk in the market telling others of his dream and of the kind dwarf.You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?My character would be infuriated on the fact that this orc is being so unkind and threatening and would haughtily step in and pretend like he was going to stab the orc with his axe until the orc got scared off. Then would proceed to ask the dwarf if he was OK and what exactly the orc wanted from him. Once the dwarf responded he would make a strategy so that the orc never encountered that dwarf again without feeling scared for his life so he gave him a medium size beast looking battleaxe. When the dwarf met the orc the next day he did the same thing Theoden did.Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:My character who is ever pitiful would look down on the frail old man and immediately help him up no questions asked because if anyone ever fell they deserve to get back on their feet even a warrior in battle as he learned from his military experience so he helped the man up and brought him to a tree to rest while he whittled a new makeshift walking stick then since they were both going the same direstion they head to the city the man was walking to but since Theoden is poor he is ashamed and tells the old man why he is ashamed. When Theoden is done the man says he did a good deed and needs a reward nonetheless so he gives him half the minas he has and walks away with his brand new completely original walking stick.

Reasons:

• Unfortunately Galahar was a city in Aegis, which we left along with the Undead about 70 or 80 in-character years ago when we travelled to Asulon. You should either make your character old enough to have lived in Aegis (and make sure you do research so you're familiar with it!) or try some places in Asulon instead.
  
• Your backstory (being kidnapped as a child and returning home to find your parents dead) is a common and overall bland and cliche backstory. A more original and creative story wouldn't hurt!
  
• The section at the end of your biography ("Theoden is a smart dwarf with knowledge of architecture, fighting, and defense. He's smart, cunning, kind, strategic, pitiful, a tactician, and aggressive.") makes your character seem like a very Gary Stu/Mary Sue character. This generally means they have many skills and strong points, and very few balancing downsides. Click here for an excellent guide on fixing this.
  

Aside from that, your application was very close to acceptance! For your next application, I would strongly recommend spacing out your application. There is supposed to be breaks between the sections, and splitting your biography and open response questions into paragraphs makes your application much nicer to read.
