Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: *Note* This bio will show how my character came to these lands from his own!

Dorgrim IronHammer, born in the Dwarven stronghold of Dalduum wasn't always very well-known and famous as he is now. When He was just at the age of 65, he grew up always helping his father forge together new weapons and armor to deliver to the Dwarven kingdom for military support during the harsh times of a terrible war between the Dwarves and Elves. Dorgrim also was constantly helping his mother out around the house when she needed it most. Dorgrim was definitely not selfish in anyways, for he was constantly helping out his stronghold when his service was in need. His father, Dargom, trained Dorgrim constantly to be prepared for battle at all times, fearing that Dalduum, the Stronghold in which Dorgrim and many other Dwarves, would be the next target for the Elves to strike. Training him created many opportunities for Dorgrim to show off his might to the Dwarven King at the time so that it would show just how ready he was for battle. When the King made Dorgrim challenge a Dwarven Clan Chief, Dorgrim did not hesitate to accept this grand challenge. When the great day came for Dorgrim to show his might off to the King, Dorgrim began to get nervous about the upcoming combat challenge, and spoke with his father about this subject.

Dorgrim: Father, I am not so sure I am ready for this “Grand” day anymore.

Dargom: Dorgrim! I did not train ye' nor raise ye' to be a coward when it comes to showing off your might to your own king! Now get your act together, and show them why ye’ are worthy to be a true warrior for our great king!

Dorgrim: Aye father….it’s just my nerves have gotten the best o’ me knowing that I could mess up and disappoint my king at any moment in the heated challenge.

Dargom: Aye? Well then in that case son, Lets go out and drink some Ale to get your mind off of things before your challenge!

Dorgrim: Father are ye' sure thats a smart idea before I go to this huge event?

Dargom:Am I sure... *Laughs* Of course I'm sure! I always drink a bit of mead and ale before I go to battle! It’s sort of…. Let’s just say an IronHammer tradition!

Dorgrim: Alright father... but I'm still not sure about this being a good idea...

Going out with his dad to drink some Ale and Mead was probably the worst choice that he made. After drinking too much to get himself drunk before his big event, he passed out. Though he was awaken in time for the event, he was still very, very delirious of what was going on and still rather “tipsy”, causing him to be very dizzy during his challenge. After only 5 minutes in the arena with his opponent, flailing his weapon in his hands, and missing almost every shot he had, Dorgrim is knocked out in one final blow to the head. The King was very, very disappointed in Dorgrim, and regretted his decision to let Dorgrim participate in such an important event. His actions caused him to be denied into the Military after a fast and final decision by the King. When the decision was made, Dorgrim regretted his choices and walked back to his home slumping his weapon, dragging it in the ground. Later that night, Dorgrim, resting in his quarters, wakes up to find that a group of Elves are attacking the Dwarves of Dalduum in a heavy battle raid.

Dorgrim, hearing the many cries and screams coming from the dwarves in the Stronghold, swiftly jumps up and out of his slump, gathers his weapons and armor, and rushes out to the battlefield, which was once called “home”. Running after the many elves that he came across, he was constantly stopping them in their tracks to kill him, and after one by one, the raid was just about over. However, one elf, parched on his horse, pulls his bow and arrows out and finds himself lucky, earning himself a lucky shot on Dorgrim in the chest near his shoulder, causing him to fall to the ground on his knees. As Dorgrim is lying on the ground bleeding, the Elf walks over to him, laughs and kicks him in the gut.

Elf: *Laughing while kicking Dorgrim* You tiny dwarf, you and your kin are no match for the might of the Elven Empire you fat, ugly, stout “man”. There was no reason for you and the rest of the stronghold to even attempt to charge back at us.

Dorgrim: *Coughing* Aye, but there is always a reason for everything…..

Elf: Oh yeah? And what might that be tiny man?

Dorgrim: Honor... Something ye' Elves don’t fight for...

Elf: Is that what you dwarves call it? *Laughs* More like stupidity if you ask me... You listen here Dwarf... My men and I are going to finish off the rest of your kin here at Dalduum, and claim this as our territory, and you won’t do a damn thing...

Dorgrim: Is that so...?

Elf: Did I stutter, or do I make myself clear stout man...

Dorgrim: Oh…. ye' made it very clear... pointy eared rat...

The Elf started walking away, but didn't hear the words that Dorgrim let out of his mouth.

Dorgrim: Ye' aren't goin' to touch anyone pointy ears...

Dorgrim then gets up slowly, picking up his WarHammer and turns the Elf around to smash his WarHammer into his face.

After the raid went by, the Dwarves of Dalduum were victorious over the Elves who had attacked the stronghold. Word got to the Dwarven King, and then Made Dorgrim makes his presence known at the Dwarven Halls. When word got back to Dorgrim, He accepted the invite hesitantly, for he was still nervous of the Kind. However, he traveled to the Dwarven Capitol. Eventually after hours of traveling, he made it to the capitol and was congratulated by everyone there, for they all knew what he had done to cause the victory at Dalduum. Dorgrim walked to the Throne room, kneeling down to the King, greeting him.

Dorgrim: My king, it is so nice to see ye' again, yet on better terms this time.

King: Aye, Stand up lad. I have heard that ye' fought hard at the raid at Dalduum causing a great success and victory there.

Dorgrim: Aye my king, that is true, but it wouldn't have happened if the rest of the strongholds men and women fought back as well.

King: That is true, but the only word I have received was the might and force ye' showed to those pointy eared people. For That I wish to congratulate ye' lad.

Dorgrim:Thank ye’ my king…I will be takin’ my leave now if ye’ wish.

King: Wait… I almost forgot… I would also like to welcome ye’ into the Dwarven forces, ye’ earned it lad.

Dorgrim: My king….I…I…I don’t know what else to say besides thank ye’!

Hearing those words come out of the Kings mouth, Dorgrim was very excited, yet speechless, for he couldn't find the right words to thank him.

King: Aye, aye, calm yourself… It is an honor to have another soldier at our side to fight back against these foul people. Ye' will be granted a house here in the Capitol, for ye' have earned that as well.

Dorgrim:My king, Thank ye'... for everything..

King: No, thank ye' for your actions and service to our kingdom.

After that wonderful, and pleasing visit to the Dwarven Kingdom, Dorgrim traveled back home to Dalduum. When he arrived, everyone greeted him and congratulated him for his success. Walking to his parent’s house, he informed them that he will be moving out of Dalduum to live in the Capitol with the rest of the soldiers of the Dwarven military. Though his parents were upset and unpleased about his departure, they as well congratulated their son on his accomplishments for his stronghold, but for his own kin as well. After the conversation with his parents, Dorgrim gather his belongings, traveled back north and moved into his new Halls that he could call “home” in the Capitol.

Dorgrim, during those years in the war, fought hard and restless, caused him to rise in the ranks of the Dwarven military. At one of the battles, “The battle of East March”, the Human kingdom made the decision to step in and help the stout people of the Dwarven lands against the Elves. Once the battle had begun, Dwarves and Humans standing side by side, charged after the elves as they did the same. Everyone scattered all over the battlefield fighting for their lives. Dorgrim was fighting alongside 2 other Dwarven militants until they had fallen under arrows. As Dorgrim was fighting off the endless hordes of Elves one by one, a human named “Cregan” put his sword in defense, when an Elf was just about to Kill Dorgrim. Dorgrim didn’t know what to say but just stare at Cregan.

Cregan: Well? What are you looking at!?! Keep fighting!!

Dorgrim: Huh? Oh aye…. Sorry lad!

It was at that moment that a new friendship had sparked. Dorgrim, Cregan, fighting alongside each other back to back, fought off many hordes of incoming Elves. At last, once the battle was over, Dorgrim tired out, Cregan catching his breath, both congratulated each other on what a great job they had done together.

Dorgrim: *breathing heavily, trying to catch his breath* That was… one hell o’ a fight we put up there lad.

Cregan: Aye, but now we wait until those Elves decide to attack again…

Dorgrim: *Getting up* Aye well, until then…Oi, how ‘bout we go get a drink of some Ale shall we? It’ll be on me lad!

Cregan: Well I can’t turn down an opportunity to do that now can I? *chuckles*

Dorgrim: No I guess not lad! *Laughs*

Both, traveled down to the Tavern back at the Capitol and started drinkin’.

Dorgrim: *Burps loudly* So lad… what be’ your name?

Cregan: It’s Cregan.

Dorgrim: Nice to meet ye’ Cregan, my name be Dorgrim…. Dorgrim IronHammer at your service!

Cregan: Nice to meet you Dwarf.

Dorgrim: Aye, same to ye’ lad!

After a few hours of talking and getting to know each other Cregan and Dorgrim, started talking about something that would change both of their lives…

Cregan: So, Dorgrim, I was thinking…

Dorgrim: Aye lad, spit it out.

Cregan: I was thinking, how about we, as in, you and I, move up north with some others into the snowy ranges and begin a new life as a Nord?

Dorgrim: As a Nord? Hmmm…..I suppose I could, I do like cold weather, so I don’t see why not.

Cregan:Great! We can find ways to govern ourselves, train, bring in others and other types of stuff!!!

Dorgrim: Aye lad, Aye!

So, after talking about this matter and coming up with ideas of how to start this new life, Dorgrim and Cregan both returned back home. After the war and great accomplishments of Dorgrim, a grand statue was ordered to be built at Dalduum as a token as appreciation for his actions, commitments and dedication to his kin and king. Since the Dwarves were at peace once again, Dorgrim made the decision and stepped down from his duties, for he found the love of his life, and raised a family together. Even though Dorgrim was happy for what had happened lately in his life, he still missed the days of battle and combat alongside his brothers in arms. He didn’t complain much about to his family for he did not wish for his children to hear the stories yet. Dorgrim and his Dwarven lads would go out to bars and drink together, get into bar fights, and just drink some more! However, one night at the bar, his Cregan entered the bar and mentioned a place known as "Galderon", where the land was rich and pure, and the many people of the lands there. After hearing much about this place called “Asulon”, Dorgrim decided to move to the Dwarven lands in Asulon, with his family and friends. Many days of travel, they eventually made it to Asulon and the mountains of the Dwarves, and finally settled into a nice village. And for that, him, his family and friends, continued their journey... in Asulon.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Witnessing the dwarf barely making his living, I would walk over to him and start a conversation. I would start to get to know him and ask why he decided to work in the human lands. After getting to know the dwarf, I, as a dwarf myself, would offer him to be his companion and help him out with whatever he needs. I would also give all the coin I have to him to help his little business get a small boost. After this all goes down, I would offer him a place to stay at my house back in the Dwarven lands until he got back up on his feet and was able to purchase his own home.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Firstly, if I see this, I’m going to find a place to hide but still stay nearby. I would then draw my Dwarven Iron War Axe and charge the power hungry Orc. After helping a bit, I give away my other weapon to the transfixed Dwarf, and have him fight back alongside me. After this is finished, and the Orc is slayed, I would make sure the dwarf wasn’t in too much pain. If he was, I would then offer him help to get him fixed up. Then, getting him patched up, I would then offer my services to the Dwarf for when he needed me again.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: At this sighting, I would quickly run over as fast as I can. I would then make sure the poor man isn’t horribly hurt. I would then help pick up his coins and stuff them back into his little leather sack bag. After, I would help the old man get back up and help him walk to the nearest city. After reaching the nearest city, I would then help the old man repair his broken stick, as well as get supplies to make it even sturdier so it doesn’t break again.
