Character Name: Agro Hoch

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Agro Hoch grew up on the plains and forests in the Kingdom of Renatus. His father was a farmer, his mother was a baker. You could say it was a humble existence. During the night monsters would come out from their caves and reek havoc on the crops. Creepers would blow craters in the land and zombies and skeletons would tromp through the wheat and uproot it. Agro's father was too old to chase monsters about and exterminate them so Agro took it to himself to protect his families source of income. Over the years he became skilled in monster traps and battle axes. He was too poor to afford a sword, and an ax was a common tool found on farms for clearing areas for crops and cutting firewood. When he became of age at 18, he traveled from home to the human city of Arethor. He hopes to become a well known monster slayer and make a living protecting people from the creatures of the night.

Agro wears a black cloth band on his head to keep his hair in place in combat. He does not wear a shirt so he can move more easily when fighting. Though he wears pads and gloves on his arms to add protection. He wears loose white pants and leather boots. He doesn't like to wear helmets unless they are chain mail because they limit vision and mobility. Agro also wears a belt to hold his ax and other items. He is very muscular, masculine, and attractive looking though he has below average intelligence and was never one for scholarly activities. Agro has a beard that extends around his face. He also enjoys music and dancing. He never attacks others physically unless it is for a cause he deeply believes in, in self defense, or for recreation (wrestling, sparring, etc). He likes to improve himself physically and looks down on other physically weaker males at times. Agro has respect for Orcs and their great strength. My character is also attracted to both human and high elf girls, though he is not someone to get into a relationship. He doesn't like dark elves or goblin orcs. Agro is 18 years old. In his free time Agro goes to the pubs, goes fishing, goes for walks, or he gardens.

What are your characters ambitions?: Become a skilled monster slayer and dedicate his life to protecting people. Retire someday and become a weapon smith.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

"Hello dwarf, you do not look like you are from here. Were do you hail from?" I ask. The dwarf replies, "Why friend, I am from Kal'Karik." I say, "Well, that is a far distance from home. Though there is no better place to be than the grand city of Arethor!" The dwarf says, "Aye, the fresh air is a welcome change from living in the dark depths that I have traveled so very far from." I take a liking to the dwarf and ask what wares he has to offer. "Why I only have the finest dwarven made axes in the city." He proclaims. I reply, "The axe I carry has become quite dull and worn, I could use a new weapon to accompany me throughout the dark caves of Asulon. I would be happy to take the diamond axe lying there on your left." I hand him the minas he requests and I receive the axe. "What is your name, friend?" I ask as I walk away. "Barik, Barik Oakenshield." He replies. "I am Agro Hoch, nice to meet such a kind dwarf, farewell." I say.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:

I walk to a nearby tree and grab a branch that has fallen. I approach the old man and help him onto his feet while giving him the new stick to support him. Being a sensible and kind man I take the broken bag and drop the coins back in it. "Here just hold the hole with your hand until you to a safe place, I'll help walk you." I say. We approach a small hunting outpost. A hunter calls out, "Who goes there?" "Tis an old man who needs assistance." I say. The man approaches us and says, "What kind of help would you need old man?" "My bag of minas has broken and I am in need of a new one." the old man says. The hunter replies, "Why I just happen to have this leather bag I made for myself, but in your situation I guess you could have it." "Thank you very much good sir!" the old man says as he takes the new sack. He pours the minas into the new bag and discards the broken one. As I am a monster hunter I cannot spare any time guiding an old man all about, so I tell him the directions to the nearest woodworker for a cane, say farewell and send him on his way.
