In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is when somone (anyone) has a character and acts out to have a role or postion in a certain game or any sort of action.


In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is using the knowledge from Out Of Character and using it In Game that your character should not know.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is when you are overpowered and make your character more powerful than another. Ex: *Steve stabs Bob, Bob falls on the floor and dies*, instead of *Steve tries to stab Bob.

In-Character Details


Character Name: Lyna Smithfield


Character Race: Human 

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

 

 Lyna grew up and still lives in the in the Holy Oren Empire in Auslon. She lives in the capital Arethor. She has 2 brothers one named Eric and the other name Jacob. She was the second oldest next to Eric. She was middle class. Her father and mother both worked at the banks at a high position. Her father was also a warrior he trained all three of his children how to fight. Lyna loved fighting she wanted to become a warrior and fight for the army. But her mother wouldn’t allow it. Her brother Eric was 18 when he joined the army. She was 14 at that time. Her brother Jacob was 12.  She would go and see her brother every day at the training grounds. There she met up with a man who was very wise and old. She told him that her mother won’t allow her to fight. He told her just go around to  other races making friends fight along them. That what he did when he was 18. So Lyna thought about it that’s just what she would do be a warrior who traveled a lot. She started planning that day were she would go. She wanted to still live in Arethor or maybe Solace. She wanted to be known also. She told only her father about it. He was always excited about Lyna and her fighting. She wasn’t the best she still had a lot to learn but her determination was excellent. So they started training even harder and traveled to every races land except the orcs. Not a place for a 14 year old. 

 

3 years passed . Lyna still trained and was getting better her brother started to train more like her also. Her brother Eric came back every once and a while and taught her some moves from what he learned in the army. Then one night when her family was eating dinner she told her mom. At first her mom thought is was a joke. Until she realized Lyna was dead serious.  Her mother didn’t like that at all. Lyna said it would be good for her she loved visiting the races every year. She loved to learn there history and be taught new stuff. One time she got thought how to shoot a bow from an elf it was fun. In a month she would turn 18 so she said that’s when she was going to leave. Her mother got up from the table and left and went upstairs into her room. Lyna could tell her mother was not happy at all. She didn’t care she was still going. 

 

It was the day before her birthday, a day until she would go out and explore. Her mother gave her a sword that she bought the day before for her birthday tomorrow. Since she was leaving early in the morning she opened her presents that night. She was going to miss her family. She told them that she was still going to life in Holy Oren Empire. Either Arethor or Solace. They were relieved to here that. She went to sleep early for her trip.

 

Now it the day Lyna is 18 she sets out to find and goes to Solace and looks around. Its huge. She doesn’t know were she going to go but she will go back and see her parents after a while or maybe in a couple days other than that she is ready to explore and get a house for her self. She will stick up for people she didn’t train for nothing.  

 

What are your characters ambitions?: To have success for her family . She trained for this.  She is a adventurer.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: That she is loyal and always will fight til death for the people who matter and the people who deserve to live.



Open-Response-Questions


Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. 




Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I kindly walk up to the dwarf ask the dwarve what he has then I see some apples. And tell the dwarve I will have them. I give him 30 minas with a tip. And tell him I will come here daily. He smiles and thanks her for her kindness. She says, "No dont thank me you deserve kindness." She walks off with a smile, *she just made someones day* 


You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I go up to the orc and start to yell at him! "You have no right to yell at this dwarf, he has not done anything to you im assuming. The orc looks surprised and mad to see a girl standing up for a dwarf. He says "Get out of here little girl", I stay there staring at him with a rude look. He says I will hurt you if you don't. I say "Come at me then" The orc starts to attack she says for the dwarf to run, he does. She gets hit by the orc, then tries to stab him with her sword. He gets slashed. He hits me again... I fall hard on the ground scarping my skin against the ground but i wont give up on a fight that easy. I get up and slash him again. He bleeds more he says, "You've got some guts girl, but if i ever see you again trying to get in my way of me ruffing up a dwarf your DEAD! *Walks away stomping*  *I walk away tired and weak.


Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: *She runs over to the guy* *She helps him up* Now he is sitting against a tree, she says, "ill go find you a stick for now" *she comes back with a good strong stick* The old man trys to collect his minas. She helps with that also and gives him her bag for his money. He asks, "Why didnt you just steal my money and walk away?" Thats what other people would have done. She says "im not like other people. I help people!." She walks the old guy to were he needs to go and is on her way.
