A group of armored guards begin posting letters on all of the boards around Auvergnian land, the letters read:

 

"This may come as late news to some, but as many of you are aware Duke Maris Valois has gone missing. Nobody has been able to find him since the journey to the new lands. This is a horrible time for all but we must continue on and try to get through this tragedy. To take Maris' place Chrestienne Valois has been chosen as the Duchess of the Auvergnians and House Valois. We hope for bright times in the future and for the creator to bless us in the years to come."
