In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: The act of becoming a different person that differs from your normal self. Thus, seeing through their eyes and acting as they would act.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Using out of character (ooc) information to gain an upper hand in role playing. Like, you find out the spot of somebody's secret treasure in ooc chat and go there and rob it.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: To use unrealistic means to get the upper hand. Like, someone three a stick at you ,but you used super magic to fling it back at him gouging his eye and killing him instantly.

Character Name: William Fredrick

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:     I am a warrior from distant lands. I was from a tribe, where my father was the chief. I was trained by the great battle warriors of my tribe. They each taught me a part of what they knew. From Zerthos, I learned to wield an ax  then from Xeron I learned to slash a sword, and from my father I learned the way of the bow. My body grew to ripple with muscles as the training progressed. At the end I had learned to wield all three. I am a 6 foot, brown-haired, and blue eyed human. I learned from to use the land to help me, from farming and hunting. I was also one of the few in my tribe to learn how to speak, comes with being the chief's son.

 

     Though, that all changed when we were attacked. It was during the night, when they came from the forest and mountains. We weren't ready for a full scale battle. They were merciless, and they killed men, women, and children. My father was the first killed. I was able to escape through the help of the others. I asked them  to come with me, but they declined and said they would die fighting. So, I set off at the age of twenty one to find a new home. A place where I can live with others. I will revenge my tribe and make a guild, which will protect my town.

 

What are your characters ambitions?: To regain my tribe's honor, lead a guild, and lead a town. I want to regain the honor of my tribe the most.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: He has scar on his back that he always covers with his shirt. Though it is his reminder of his home tribe.

 

 

Open-Response-Questions

 

 

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

 

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? "My good sir, what is it that you sell?", I asked. He responded by showing me his weapons and armors. I pull out my minas and buy one bow, a stack of arrows, one sword, one ax  and leather armor. I also give him a little extra to help him on his way. Then I show others the fine wares and have them go over to him. Making his business better. He thanked me and winked as he gave me thirty minas back.

 

You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?  I pulled out my bow and fired a warning shot in between them. Whist yelling at them at the top of my lungs to stop their arguing loud enough to wake up the monk. Who then awaken by my yell comes bundling up to us. The Orc backs down and so does the dwarf. I leave after that and head on my way.

 

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?: I quickly grabed all the minas and put them in the bag for the old man so no body can steal from him. I give him a couple oak sticks and lift him up. I then carry him to where he was headed and gave the man enough money to stay at the inn. I walked away, happy to help someone.

Clarify what you mean by 'from distant lands'. Your character must come from one of the worlds used by the server. Please add server lore to the bio such as places, dates or events, which can be found on the forums and wiki.

 

Expand on the last two Open Response Questions and add dialogue.

 

 

Excellent first attempt, just minor details preventing acceptance.
