Definitions

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is:
Roleplaying is the act of creating and developing your very own character in a world where your actions forge the future, and you serve among others in order to combine your professions into a success.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is:
Meta-Gaming, to my knowledge, is when someone takes information acquired out-of-character and use it to their benefit. Ex. "I heard the Dwarves plan to raid the Elven capitol this week!" and immediately begin to prepare for the attack or counter them.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:
Power-Emoting is when somebody makes their character do something unrealistic in order to prevail on top of the other. Ex. "I hereby burn you and your diamond armor to a crisp with my stick-wand!"

In-Character Details

Character Name:
Sigurd Snarensven

Character Race:
Human

Character biography -Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:
Sigurd Snarensven was a boy of extreme interest within his origins. He sports brown, ragged hair, pale blue eyes, and a mid-tan skin color. He once lived in the desolate and independent village of Riversteed, whose status is unknown as of today. Riversteed, however, was a grand fish market in its time, bustling with workshops which refined string for fishing equipment and dozens of fishing boats made to navigate the narrow rivers of Aegis with great speed and strength. At this time, Sigurd was a poor boy, but was treated fairly among his community, and often received praise for his optimism in the worst of times. At one point, however, Riversteed entered a rather dark era in time. A group of bandits entered from the southern deserts, and one night slipped a foul poison into the river. The next morning, the men of Riversteed proceed with their daily life, slipping into their glorious vessels and hording the morning catch. His father, thankfully, was ill at this time with a minor disease, and after some convincing remained home that day. Hours later, one of the infected came fourth before the townspeople, and in the midst of explaining the situation, died in front of the entire mob. Stunned, the leader of the town ordered the docks be locked down and that all healthy men assemble in the square at once. Sigurd's father, fearing his son would be in more danger if left behind, brought Sigurd along.

The leader called fourth the men to form a militia, to combat the impending danger that dare do this to their humble home. Within the day, the men trained with crude weaponry and skill, barely perfecting the ability to wield a sword. However, Sigurd proved a prodigy, and swung graceful arcs with every blow that brought mortal wounds to his defender. Impressed, he was commended the head of the militia, and he was only at the age of 12. That night, a roaring fire rose from the north, devouring the forests of Riversteed and welcoming the group of 12 men that pulled off the trickery in the waters. With venomous smiles and steel swords, they charged towards the gates and brought them down with little resistance. Upon entering, the men easily dispatched much of the militia, setting fire to the homes of the many residents. In the panic, Sigurd's father grabbed his son and attempted to bring him home to recover his mother, who was found half-buried under the rubble of their home and, ultimately, dead. In the confusion, one of the bandits charged from the corner of the room, impaling his fathers shoulder, initiating a fight. The two fought with great precision and speed, and in the midst of the attack, his father ordered Sigurd to evacuate the town immediately. In the middle of running out the door, Sigurd carefully grabbed his fathers black cloak and wrist-guards he wore when practicing archery, and commandeered his fathers vessel, into the heart of Asulon.

What are your characters ambitions?:
To rise his own city from the foundations of Riversteed and to slay all evil doers for the sake of the past.

Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here:

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:
I MIGHT alter to a more miniature version of my skin if I feel the current doesn't fit him, and I might change my skins outfit but this will be rare. He is also only 13 years old (As a year has past since the bandit invasion of Riversteed), rendering him a child.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person.Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by.The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?
While walking through the grand marketplace, I take notice of the stout Dwarf manning his stall with little to no result. His pleading eyes scan the market for those who might serve as customers, but everyone does all but take notice. Not wanting direct contact with the Dwarf, as my father had told me to never trust them (Note this will not have a large impact later in my roleplay), I take out a handful of Minas and carefully count up a decent amount. While carefully sticking to the cover of the shadows, I toss a handful into the entrance of the Dwarfs stall, the Minas causing a flock of market-goers to rush into his direction. In the midst of the assault, the Dwarf presents his wares and takes in a great profit. As I walk away, the Dwarf catches my eyes, and with a toothy smile and a wink, he casts off into his work again, leaving me satisfied.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?
While coasting through the Oren Road, I notice a bulky Orc threatening a nearby Dwarf, who was scared out of his beard-hairs and drowning in nervous sweat. The Orc brought back the terrible memories of Riversteed, for more then half of the bandits were Orcish race. Furious, I whip out my blade and march directly into eye-level with the beast. It snarls, and turns its head towards me, its eyes glowing red with rage. I stand my ground, with my sword held in both hands in front of me, the moonlight glare catching its sharp edge and reflecting off it in a brilliant flare of light. The Orc pays little mind, and draws his over-sized club before him. Just as he attempts to bludgeon me, and just as I swing outwards, the Dwarf grabs his pickaxe and impales the beast in its leg, causing it to howl in pain and drop to the ground with a great thud. Just as he falls, his club comes crashing down on his chest, making him heft a painful breath and fall unconscious. The Dwarf and I exchange a nod, and head off into the streets in separate directions.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man.His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open.As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:
Born and raised as a poor boy, I understand the value of even a mere amount of Minas and what difference they could do. Taking pity in the old man, I gently carry him from the ground, and support him to the nearest coach. After retrieving his Minas for him, I give him the bag and a stick found on the ground, telling him he best take the coach to the nearest village to rest. Stunned, the elder stares at me with wise eyes, and eventually starts giving orders to the driver, and in minutes their off into the distance. Just as I walk away, however, I find a small roll of paper on the ground, and within its canvas is a handful of Minas and a strange scroll with cryptic writing and dashing swirls and shapes. Curious, I tuck the scroll under my tunic, and set off once again.

Your application has been...

Accepted!

Couple of things to take note of. Your preteen character cannot have come from Aegis, as it existed over seventy years ago. You will likely want your character to have been born in Asulon, and now have moved to Elysium, the current world of the server. As well, be advised that having such a young character accomplish all of what is mentioned is rare, and the character will be greatly affected as a result. Other than that, a very well developed and detailed application I'm quite happy to accept.

Welcome to the Lord of the Craft! Please wait patiently for a GM to whitelist you.
