In-Character Details

Character Name: Galrim QuartzFist
Character Race: Dwarven
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Galrim was born a bastard, illegitimate and an outcast. He was raised by his mother. Every day of his life was full of questions, would they eat today? Would they have wood to burn to stay warm? They lived off of scraps taken from the dumps of various saloons and inns. But Galrim knew that one day things would be better. He promised himself that he would make his and his mother's life better.

 

He finally turned twelve, he was a man! He set off to find riches. A full year passed as he wondered the country side finding different forms of work. He had gathered a good sum of money and returned to the city, only to find that his mother had passed away. And that he was on his own. He continued finding different jobs and raising money. On his fourteenth birthday he bought a sword, some armour, a bit of food, and a bedroll and set off. He didn't know where he was going, he had no goal in mind but to leave his life of eating trash behind. To become an adventurer.

 

Again he wondered through the country side. After about a week he stumbled across a clan. The were called "Badalf", a clan of warriors. He was taken prisoner, the only way free was to pass a test to see if he had the traits of a warrior. They made him fight. He slayed people, dragons, you name it! Every time he prevailed. At first he resented it, but as he fought he realized that he was a natural born fighter. Eventually he was released. The clan was so amazed with him that they adopted him. There was a ceremony to anoint him an honorable member. To mark him a clansmen a mage burned a blue mark on the side of his face. They gave him a mirror to look. He had never seen a mirror so this was the first time for him to even see himself. He was tall (for a dwarf), broad shouldered, he had long brown hair. He was a dwarf, so he was already growing a beard. He had grown to love the clan and thought them family. But he knew he had to go. He still had a tug on his heart. He had yet to fulfill the promise he had given his mother.

 

So he set off. And this is where we are left...

Open-Response-Questions

 

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

 

 

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I understand his position. I was poor once and had to make myself a living. I walk over to him and give him the money for two products without taking any.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I draw my sword and charge into battle! The months spent in the Badalf clan has given me confidence in battle. I don't even think as I swing my sword left and right!

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I, without hesitating, help the man up and pick up the coins for him. I saw a sturdy looking stick a ways back on the path. I run and grab it. I give it to the man as a make shift walking stick for him to use until he gets a new one.

Cannot apply as a dragon killer. They're rare and extremely strong. Please add server lore such as organizations, places or dates into the bio.

 

Expand on all Open Response Questions and add dialogue.
