In-Character Details

Character Name: Gnarlan
Character Race: Dwarf
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Gnarlan grew up in Karik. His parents were murdered when he was at the age of ten so a mid-aged stone miner named Rogdast took him in and raised him to be a strong and sturdy Dwarf. By the time he was fifteen he was already in the mines slamming his pick into the stone everyday. But then a couple of years later the mines collapsed and he lost Rogdast to the rubble of the mine.

He had moved into the Army and kept on renting a room at an Inn in Karik. He had gone to war with the Orcs two times so far and only came back with a broken leg and a weak wooden walking stick. He had healed from his war wound in half a year and went back out into the battlefield for the third time. He came back to the Inn with Orc skulls and Orc armour, a very precious but strong armour. When he was 20 he had become the leader of a platoon of Dwarves and went to fierce skirmishes with the Orcs but he had survived three battles. He went away from the military for a year trying to find the mysterious man in a black suit of Human armour who had murdered his parents but after that slow slow year he returned to the military and now works there to this day.

What are your characters ambitions?: To work for the Dwarven Army and to adventure into the Human lands to figure out why they sent that mysterious man.

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Gnarlan has a brown beard and an olive skin. His age: 24 Dwarven years. He is rude but very nice and friendly.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I push through the crowd of people. "I see you have a very nice looking diamond on that piece of cloth over there." I tell the Dwarf. "Yes, she's a gorgeous one eh!" the Dwarf says. "How much would she cost?" I say to him. "A-thousand Minas" The Dwarf says in a quite voice. I look at him in shock, considering he is the same race as me and he is 'poor' I will buy it. *pulls out a few bags of Minas out of his rugsack*. "Here you go a thousand Minas!" I yell out to him while tossing it into his hand. *the Dwarf gives me the diamond*. I walk away and just as I turn around the corner to go to Arethor he yells out "Thankyou kind sir!" while waving to me.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I walk up to the fight and I pull out my trusty blade and start slashing at the Orc until it falls to the ground. "Thankyou sir." the Dwarf said. "Just dont mess around with 'em they are'nt the best people." I say. Then I start to walk down the Oren road again.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: "Are you ok?" I say to the old man. "Help!" He says. I lift up the bag of Minas and put it in my pocket then I help the man up and return his Minas and help him walk to Malinor. Then about two hours later we reach Malinor. "Here are youre Minas" I say to the Old Man. " It's ok you can have them as a reward" The Old Man tells me. "Bye" I yell to the Old Man as he walks inside his house.
