In-Character
Details

 

Character Name: Telgur

Character Race: Elf

Character biography - Make this
at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history,
appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:                  Telgur is a Wood Elf who has
brown hair and eyes, and always wore a hood to cover the giant scar at the back
of his neck. He was born in a very small village with only 13 people in it, he
was always training with his father to become the best archer that he could.
When he was 15 years old he became an exceptional shot with a bow and could
very well defend his village from bandit attacks.

During a raid, Telgur was caught and captured and he was
shackled to a wall, he used rocks to file his shackles off and he had to sneak
out without the bandits knowing. There was a broken path which was not guarded;
he had to jump from stone to stone with such grace and elegance. On the last
stone he cleared the jump but three bandits were coming back from a raid on a
camp, the bandits turn and saw Telgur they tried to slash him with their
swords. Telgur rolled out of the way but one of the bandits took one last slash
before Telgur started to sprint and cut him deeply on the back of his neck.  On his return back to his village Telgur was
greeted warmly by his family and friends, later that night he thought “If I could
escape from a bandit prison at this age, I think I’ll be fine as an adventurer”.
On that thought, two weeks later Telgur said his goodbyes, packed his precious
bow that his father made him when he was young, and a fine sharpened iron sword
and some food and torches for the journey.

 

What are your characters
ambitions?:To start his own village and become one of the greatest
archers in all of the land of Auslon.

like to say about your character: He is an excellent archer and very
swift, agile and clever.

Upon entering the Mighty Human
City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to
passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a
living in a new city. What is your response? “Hello kind sir” I say
softly to the dwarf. “Ello’ sir, may I interest you in any of these items I
have?” The dwarf says excitedly, showing a bow, stone sword and pickaxe along
with some iron ingots and coal. “Hmm let’s see what you have here.” I say
interested. “How many minas would it cost for the bow and 5 pieces of coal?” I
say still looking at the items. “54 minas for all of the items together, but I
would greatly appreciate it if you threw in a few extra minas so that I could
stay at the inn tonight” The dwarf says with a happy expression on his face. “Okay,
for you kind sir, I’ll give you 60 minas for your finely crafted bow and coal”
I say with a little feeling of selflessness. “Oh my, thank you ever so kind,
kind sir!” The dwarf says very excitedly. “No problem friend, I hope you can
get a home in the city very soon.” I say while walking down the street.

 

You’re wandering the Oren Road
late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no
help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon,
what does your character do? “Stop! What are you doing to this poor
man?” I say shouting. “Dis man not be paying me my minas” The Orc says while
holding the dwarf by his collar. “How much did this man owe you?” I say looking
in my pocket. “40, no, uhhhhhh I think 54 minas dis dwarf owed me.” The Orc
says lowering the dwarf to the ground. “I would gladly pay off this man’s debt
if you let him go this instant.” I say with the minas in my hand. “Oh! Mokay I
let dis man go!” The Orc says staring deeply into my hand. “Here take them.” I
say tossing the minas in front of him. “Are you alright?” I say taking the
dwarf away from the Orc. “Yes, thank you very much for helping me out there, I
just didn’t have enough. Here take 10 minas from me as my repayment, it’s all I
have that I can give away.” The dwarf says extending his arm out with the minas
in his hand. “Thank you, try to be more careful when making deals with some
Orcs, they can be very dangerous at times.” I say taking the minas from the
dwarfs hand and walking away after that.

 

Whilst walking down the road
to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and
frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the
man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground,
and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at
the defenceless man. What does your character do?: “Are you
alright?!” I say running quickly over to the old man’s aid. “Ahh I think I hurt
my legs but I’ll be fine if I can get a new walking stick” The man says as I
guide him to sit down and scoop up his minas back in his bag, handing it to him.
“I think I can get you a new one just sit here and wait for a few minutes as I
find some logs” I say looking around for trees, finding a good one and chopping
it down. I bring the log back to where the man is sitting. ”Here I think I
found a sturdy piece of log for a new walking stick” I say taking out a knife
and carving it down. “Oh my, thank you very much I appreciate your kindness in
helping an old man” The man says with a big smile on his face. “Okay, I think it’s
just about done” I say doing the finishing touches on the walking stick and
handing to the man. He takes it from me and begins walking down the road again.

Altogether not a bad first attempt, however, there are a few things you need to fix. 

• No server lore in the biography - You need to show that you have read into this server's history and culture.
• Make sure you know metagaming is a bad thing - Not a big thing, but the way you mentioned it wasn't clear that you knew it was.
