Full Name: Kelvin Grove Wisp

Current Age: 414

Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf

Past /
History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Kelvin was born to a poor family. He couldn't get food from the local towns. His father, Arthus, always believed that hunting was the key to survival. His mother, Elest was an exceptional gatherer. She always brought ripe fruits and vegetables to the dinner plate. Kelvin was always taught to be a mannered person, but rarely talked to other people living out in the wilderness. He was always never allowed to leave their yard alone. Kelvin's father took Kelvin out to hunt every week. They would bring an abundance of food. Every few months, Arthus would go to the local town and collect house supplies. All the furniture in Kelvin's home was made from gathered materials. They didn't have the money to buy a house, so they built one instead.

Kelvin was a master archer. He was very talented in archery, and even surpassed his own father, who taught him how to first handle a bow and arrow. One day changed his life completely and led him to a world of adventure. On a stormy night, when Kelvin was fast asleep, Vicious Orc raiders wandered the woods near his home. His parents were up hoping the raiders don't find them. Arthus grabbed his bow that was handcrafted by Kelvin's grandfather. The bow was given the name, Celest. Arthus would some day hand Celest down to Kelvin when the time was right. When Arthus aimed to grab the door handle, a rock flung by an orc hit the door. Arthus stumbled backward, and saw six angry orcs with axes run toward the house. They were about 50 yard away. Arthus opened the door and opened fire on the orcs. While Kelvin's mother, Elest woke up Kelvin and told him to run to the hill right behind the home. Kelvin ran straight up to the top of the hill. Trying to see if his parents were alright. Every now and again he saw an orc running, then the orc disappeared under the trees. Just a few minutes later, Kelvin's mother caught up and hugged Kelvin. Kelvin was worrying for his father, so without hesitation, he ran down the hill and glanced to the right. He saw his father stumble over a rock and tumble into a bush. He ran straight to his father, picked up Celest and an arrow. He looked up, and saw an orc running straight toward him. He aimed Celest, and fired.

After the raid attack from the orcs. Kelvin and his family became different. They were more cautious, and had emergency plans. Kelvin's father only suffered minor bruises and cuts. He had taken out five of the six orc warriors with Celest. Kelvin had finished the last orc. The orcs had almost killed Kelvin's father. Arthus knew that now was the time to pass down Celest to Kelvin. The bow he had cherished would now be in Kelvin's hands. Kelvin has grown up now, and is ready to explore the rest of the world.

Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: I walk right up to the group of High Elves, and ask them to leave the wood elf alone. Right away I tell the wood elf to go away from these elves. I guide the wood elf child back to the nearest town and make sure the High Elves are not following. I also ask the child questions to get him back to his home. I care for the child until he is protected and then say my goodbyes.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: I immediately, help the old man up gingerly. I lay him down near a bush and use my remaining medicine to tend to any wound he may have. I also gather up the coins and put it back into the pouch. I hand it back to the old man, then ask him if he is alright. What ever the response is, I take the old man back to where ever he was headed, then continue on to what I was doing.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: The trader offers me a fine quiver made of high quality deer skin. The trader then ponders upon the amount of minas he wants. He tells me, " It is worth at least 5000 minas." I respond, " I already have a quiver, and I am interested in this quiver, because it is made of fine deer skin. I must buy it for at least 3000 minas. 5000 minas is just too much for a quiver, that I do not need to buy." The trader responds wiht, " Yes, you do not need to buy the quiver, and if you don't want to you can leave right now. I can lower the price down to 4000 minas, but that is all." I think about it for a quick minute, and then accept the price. I buy the quiver for 4000 minas and walk off to explore further.

Your Character Questions are too short, please answer these with a paragraph long answer. This will re-assure us that you understand your character well enough to role play with it.

Your Open Response Question need to display the role play method in them to achieve an accepted application. You need to set it out like this:

Edward looks around the Inn and notices a man tucked away in the corner. The man is wearing dark robes with a hood resting over his head. He walks across the room towards the man before calling over "Oi You! Come over here!" The man looks up towards Edward and gasps before attempting to get up and flee.

You should set out your role play that and then we will know that you can control role play with your character and also know if you have the role-playing skills to obtain a place on our server. If you can do this method with every single Open Response Questions they will be at a closer to acceptable applications standard. However do not forget to include details about your character and too make sure you stay as your character throughout the role play. Include his/her(s) strengths or weaknesses to make your role playing effective.
