Role-playing: Roleplaying is the act of pretending to be another person or character than yourself.
Meta-gaming: Metagaming is the act of using OCC information in your IC character. Example: Person A is in Teamspeak and hears that person B is low on health at spawn. Person A goes to spawn and kills him.
Power-emoting: Powergaming is the act of doing actions you character can't.For example doing a certain action without giving the other person a chance to react. Example person A slits throath of person B. Person B dies. Another example: Person A throws person B to the top of the tree.

Full Name: Meryn Forel
Current Age: 25
Sub-race (if any):Northerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Meryn was born into the poor family of Forel living in Ager. Living a simple life wasn't easy and he had to work hard everyday. He dreamt of becoming a Knight of the poor, but he realised that it would never happen. As he grew his dream become stronger and stronger, it reached a point where he left his family all together and traveled to Arethor. He came to Arethor carrying only some food that he took from his mom. With nothing he had to resort to living on the streets and maybe stealing some food now and then. With his dream of becoming a knight grimmer and grimmer everyday, he had to travel back to his family. On the way home he met a camp of Mercenaries on the way to Arethor. He asked if he could sit down with them as the night came. One of the mercenarys asked him. "Why are you so sad boy?" Meryn said "I left my family and went to Arethor in the hope of becoming a knight, but I found out I will never become one so I'm on my way back to my family." The mercenary said cheerfully " C'mon boy one dream broken dosen't mean your life is broken. You got to look at the bright side of life boy." Confused Meryn said "What do you mean? Can I become a knight?" The mercenary anwsered "Well, sure you can boy. Everyone can, heck even I can if I wanted to, but you'll have to train everyday. I suggest you join us and we'll give you a push in the right direction. Right boys?" The group said in unison. "Aye." "So, do you want to join us boy?" Meryn smiled "Yes, yes of course I want to!" Meryn lived and worked with the group for years to come, travelling all over Oren, from Westport to Riven. The years went and Meryn was now an adult and a fierce fighter. He said to the mercenary group. "I think it's time for me to leave you and follow my dream. I will always remember you." The mercenary said. "And I will remember you. I will wait for the day to say to my children that I trained the knight Meryn Forel." With those words Meryn left the group and went to Arethor dreaming to fullfill his dream.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: Meryn runs up to the clothed figure and asks him what he's doing here. As soon as he asks the question the clothed figure tries to stab him with a dagger. Meryn dodges it by a centimeter. He backs off and pulls out his sword. The clothed figure tries to stab him again, but Meryn is prepared and with brute force he cuts of his hand. In agony he screams and guards starts to gather around the two. Meryn says to a nearby guard. "He was going to kill the Emperor, I stopped him." Meryn then sheates his sword and leaves the scene.


2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: As Meryn approaches, the old man spots him. He tries to signal Meryn, but get's knocked out with the flatside of a sword. Meryn sneaks in from behind. As he closes in he brutally stabs one of the bandits with his sword. He dodges the other bandits attack and they start to circle eachother. The bandits tries to stab him, Meryn tries to dodge but gets hit. The bandit charges forward, knocking Meryn's blade out of his hand. The bandit then kicks Meryn in his stomach making him fall. Meryn prepares for his death, when suddenly the bandit falls ontop of him with a blade in his back. Looking up Meryn sees the old man smiling.


3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: Meryn looks at the decorated longsword. He asks "How much for that Longsword?" The  merchant anwsers "A fine sword that is, I'll sell it to ye for 200 Minas." Meryn says "200 Minas seems a bit expensive, I'll give you 150 Minas." The merchant anwsers "No,no,no yer killing me. What about 180?" "165 and we got a deal." The merchant answers "Hmmm, okay, deal!"
