Role Playing: Playing the role of and controlling a person or character completely different from yourself.

Meta-Gaming: Using knowledge you acquired Out Of Character to benefit yourself In Character. Example- When Mike heard his rival Sebastian was heading to Cleaveland in Out Of Character chat, he decided to make his character travel to Cleaveland for no particular reason.

Power-Emoting: Completing an action that would not be physically possible, or not following the proper steps to complete an action (like actually completing the action) Example- Kurtis kicks down the enormous vault door and everyone instantly dies upon seeing him.

Past/History (Include childhood, major events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): As a child he spent most of his time outdoors and among nature. Hunting and fishing, primarily. He was a passionate outdoorsman and loved to be alone in the forest. He found a large Tokay Gecko, and named it Chimera; it stayed with him almost indefinitely.

When he was nineteen, he joined the military and was trained as a doctor and a medic. In one of his first battles he was captured and his left eye was gouged out due to torture before he managed to escape.

Ambitions for the future: He aspires to settle down and start a business and create a real home for himself.

Personality: He's an introvert, and rathers sit back away from the main group. Still kind and caring he is afraid to ever let anything befall a friend.

Skills: A strong fighter and a good doctor.

Appearance (this must include an in game screenshot of your screen): Blonde hair blue eyes, one of which gouged out, and stands around 5'9". Usually wears iron gauntlets and a bandana tied over his face. Occasionally may wear a red overcoat.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emporor's palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - What do you do?:

Keeping a close eye on the man I quickly tell the guards of him and sprint into the palace to continue to track him as the guards follow close behind.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside stands an unstable old man armed only with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily-armed bandits- They appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armor and an iron long sword, how do you react?:

I sneak closer to be sure of their motives before impaling one of them on my long sword from behind. If the other attacks I will fight him off and give the old man some food and the bandits' weapons.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: Your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens):

I would ask the man if he had any high grade weaponry or medical supplies. I examine what he shows me closely and offer him fair prices on each of them after a brief discussion on the history of the blade.

Edward looks around the Inn and notices a man tucked away in the corner. The man is wearing dark robes with a hood resting over his head. He walks across the room towards the man before calling over "Oi You! Come over here!" The man looks up towards Edward and gasps before attempting to get up and flee.

 

You should set out your role play that and then we will know that you can control role play with your character and also know if you have the role-playing skills to obtain a place on our server. If you can do this method with every single Open Response Questions they will be at a closer to acceptable applications standard. However do not forget to include details about your character and too make sure you stay as your character throughout the role play. Include his/her(s) strengths or weaknesses to make your role playing effective.
