Definitions

In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions
from elsewhere!:

Role-playing: It is the act of being another
being, and acting like them. It is creating a character, and stepping into
their shoes, and being like you are really IN the game.

Meta-gaming: Meta-gaming is using out of
character knowledge for in-character things. An example of this would be
calling someone you never met before by their name because it was above their
head.

Power-emoting: Power-emoting, or Godmodding,
is the act of using overpowered actions usually during combat that you could
not normally use. An example of this would be “Gurthan grabs the Man by the
neck and tears him limb from limb single-handedly”

In-Character Information:

Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Murgrath Bronzefoot

Current Age: 70 (10 Dwarf Seasons)

Sub-race (if any): Cave Dwarf

Clan (if any): None currently

Past / History: Murgrath was born in the lower- class areas of Kar’Karik.
His father, who’s name was Graen. was in the Kar’Karik Military, he was also a
mountain dwarf, so he was always away. . His mother, Viarna was a trader, and
was home alone with him all the time. His parents were also mistrusting of the
forest dwarves, and refused to let him talk with the forest dwarves. His
education was smithing and forging. He played with the other dwarves. Around
the age of 25, the worst thing happened, While His father was patrolling, he
was crushed by a falling boulder ambush set by goblins.

His life
continued as normal, except for the fact that he never truly recovered the loss
of his father. Just after he turned 50 years old, His mother caught a deadly
surface disease and died. He was crushed and upset. Murgrath was not homeless, though,
for his uncle, named Borenheim, took him in as an apprentice in the
middle-class district. He never had any actual orders to do, he just took tools
from his shop and took them over to the stall to sell. Another tragedy happened
AGAIN. During the age of 69. While he was heading home, he saw his uncle dead,
and surrounded by a bunch of armed dwarves. There was nothing Murgrath could do
but weep when the thugs left.

He pulled himself together and went to the Inn
and stayed there for a year, drinking until he could make himself feel better.
He could’ve been in that tavern for his entire life until a Dwarf soldier
entered the bar and was talking about his recent victories against the orcs.
This sparked a new flame in Murgrath’s heart. He left the tavern and went off
the join the army and avenge his parents.

Ambitions for the Future: Murgrath wishes to join the Dwarf Military and avenge his
Father and his Uncle.

Personality: Murgrath is head-strong, but he is
kind-hearted. He is not good at making tough decisions and he is afraid of
heights. He is also afraid of falling objects, aswell as diseases and plagues.
Rather than facing a problem head on, he tries to find a way to dull it, unless
an innocent is in danger or a higher-person orders him to.

Skills: Murgrath is
standard at making materials, but has little to no experience in sword-fighting

Open-Response-Questions

Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one
paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as
possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

____

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of
Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine
you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable,
but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do? Mu
rgrath
surveys his environment, then looks down the bridge. He is absolutely
terrified. But he needs these diamonds, for he will become broke without it. He
takes one step and part of the bridge starts to crumble. He leaps back in fear.
He regains his senses and takes a step onto the rocky bridge. He takes light
steps to prevent the bridge from breaking. He takes another step. Then Another.
At least 75% across the bridge, Murgrath loses his footing just a little bit!
His foot slips off and it is a battle to not fall over. He finally manages to
get his foot onto the bridge and continue the journey. He mines out the diamond
then something dawns him. The diamonds would only make him heavier, and he
barely managed to get across on the way there. Murgrath gets an idea. He gets
out his backpack and prepares to throw it. He swings it once, then twice. On
the third swing, he throws the backpack and it barely lands on the other side
of the ledge. He then tip-toes across and gets out of the caverns.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand
- sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a
bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In
the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each
other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small
dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?
He waits for a
moment to make sure they plan to hurt the young dwarf. Once he realises the
dwarf is in danger, he drinks his pint and walks behind the two shady dwarves.
He taps the armed one on the shoulder and smacks his face with his mug. The
other dwarf tackles Murgrath, and pins him to the ground, causing him to drop
the mug. After a moment or two, he gets his arm free and punches the dwarf’s
face, and gets out of the dwarf’s grip completely. The armed dwarf heads
towards him. As he slices at Murgrath, Murgrath catches the dwarf’s hand and
manages to wrench the dagger out of the dwarf’s hand. Murgrath picks up the
knife and aims it at the two dwarves. “Leave this dwarf alone or somethin’
really uglys gonna happen!” Murgrath bellows. The two dwarves slowly back away
and run out of the tavern. Then he heads over to the young dwarf and pats him
on the back and comforts him, saying, “Are ye alright?”

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to
you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a
heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug
of ale in his hand. How do you react?
It would be an insult to turn down the
dwarf! Murgrath heads over and graciously accepts the mug of ale and begins
drinking it. When he finishes he returns the mug and thanks the innkeeper, Murgrath then drops a stack of minas in the innkeeper's hand, then
heading back to wandering around the Dwarven caverns.

It's rare to see a fearful character, usually I see warriors who aren't scared of anything. Good job, this looks like an interesting Dwarf.
