As Zevandir sits in the ravaged Elven capital, talking with two other elves, he ponders the concept of sending out notices, to publicize his search.

 

The note reads:

 

My name is Zevandir, once known as Hunter, Archer, Pathfinder, Raider, Captain. Now simply Zevandir, for those of Anthos know me not as a wolf.

 

I first lived in Aegis, and was young, I have lost count over the years, as they flitter by like so many leaves in the wind. But by my reckoning, I approach one hundred years of age, still young for an elf, and of a greater vitality than most, due to rarely living in, or even near, great cities of leisure.

 

Though I once tried my hand at farming, and hew a few rocks from the Elven mines, in was never my passion, and the few logs I felled were quickly turned to planks of a ship, or the hafts of an axe. In truth, I am a hunter, of the seas, of the land, and of the wealthy, I have borne arms and armour of fine make, bestowed upon me by Elven princes and Human Queens, at others, a broken sword or stone axe, complemented by leather brocade stolen from farmer. Though my personal effects have strayed from fine to dirt, my ship has never. Though now she lies somewhere beneath the waves, I am still a wolf, and seek to hunt, with a pack, or for those who's offer is right.

Hail friend,

My name is Starke McHaryn, my occupation is that of a soldier although I have been laden with the mantle of a nobleman. Your story is interesting very interesting, and perhaps just PERHAPS we may have a place for you, this is not definite, it will not be a shoe in trust me, but if you do enter our ranks it will open up a new life for you, one filled with trusted brothers and loyal companions. Our task is noble but difficult, hard times are ahead for our order. And perhaps I send this letter for nothing, if you would like it we can meet and arrange for an opportunity to evaluate your current skill set.

 

All I ask of you is that if you are rejected please do not treat it as personal, not all are fit for our ranks, we have denied many in the pass. What I am offering you is an opportunity to see if you are capable of entering our ranks. That is all I promise you nothing, enclosed is a scroll explaining our ways of life and our duties. Also know that racial differences are of no concern to us, I cannot promise you complete safety within the kingdom of Oren, but I can offer you safety in our county and among our brethren.

Hey mate so basically our order is pretty damn exclusive, the only way to get in is to be offered a trial to see if your char is capable, OR to be personally squired by one of the knights, the choice is fully up to you, the info on our knightly order is in my signature, click on the Ildician Order pic. Up to you mate may or may not be what you are looking for, the main reason I offered was 1: This recruit thread is very unique and different to the usual garbage and quickley written threads in this sub section, and 2: You live in Auzzie, out of our 8 members about 5 of them are Ozzie's/NZ'ers so we RP a lot when our US bros and sisters are asleep. Zevandir opens, and reads the note. A slow smile stretches his face, and getting to his feet, he pens a note on the letter, and sends it back.
 

"Stark, your quickness of reply, and offer, tempt me sorely, and I find myself inclined to accept, when shall we meet, and where?

 

Bring an axe."
