Full Name: Gili Goldaxe
Current Age: 42 (6 seasons)
Sub-race (if any): Cave Dwarf.
Clan (if any): N/A.
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Gili Goldaxe is a young (relatively so in dwarven seasons) female dwarf, with long red hair and piercing golden eyes. Practically born with a pickaxe in her hand, she was raised alongside her brothers Gilan, Gilthur and Gileag by her father, Ganth in the outskirts of Kal'Karik. She never knew her mother who had died in childbirth, but her father loved recounting tales of her heroism and beauty.

"Aye lass, she had the same keen eyes you have. Brightest gold, an' a hint o' mischief about 'em. A terror she were in battle, wielding that bow an' letting arrows fly like the rays o' the sun. Och, I do miss 'er. But you and yer brothers are the light o' my life now.", Gili's father would often say. Even as a child, she would try and mine for precious metals alongside her father even though he kept shooing her away, until eventually he gave in and crafted a minature pickaxe for her to play with. As all four children grew up, Gili began to express interest in learning the art of archery, whilst her brothers were more interested in wielding the war-axe and greatsword. On the day of her third season, her father gave her the bow that had belonged to her mother.

"Take this, daughter. I can see ye have a fancy for it like yer mother did. I ent any good at all that, but I'm sure one o' the guards'll teach yer right." Gili was overcome with joy, and ran off to start her lessons. A few weeks of sore fingers and many temper tantrums passed before Gili hit a target dead centre. She continued her practice up until the day she left her home.

Not all of Gili's life has been happy, however. Her father died during his fourteenth season around the age of 102 in a mineshaft collapse, along with her brother Gileag. The loss of half of her immediate family first demotivated the young dwarf, then inspired her to carry forth her family name into greatness. She vowed to make her father and brothers proud, bearing the family crest upon her shirt, a rectangle made up of the five mining components: Wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond. She now ventures out into the wide world to make her fortune.

Ambitions for the Future: To become a strong and proud member of a community. Will aid all who need it.
Personality: Kind and warm-hearted, but can fly into a rage if she is threatened or feels her honour is being mocked. She is proud but mischievous, and can fit right into the loud and cheerful atmosphere of any inn.
Skills: Good with a bow, prefers a subtle attitude rather than running into battle. Has a good tactical mind.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Red hair, gold eyes, plain leather clothes. Family crest on back of jacket.

____

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: I cast an eye over the surrounding area, looking for potential footholds in the rock wall to climb across. As I quickly scan the bridge again I notice what looks like another bridge below it; this one looks strong enough to carry a young dwarf and her pickaxe to the treasure above. I peer over the edge to see a way down to it, when I notice another dwarf on the opposite side on the lower level!

Gili: "Hail friend! Mind giving a fellow dwarf a hand? I can see treasure across the ravine, but this bridge isn't stable enough to carry me."
Strange Dwarf: "Course! Although I've got the same problem as ya. There's a large gold vein over there, right beneath yer feet, but I cannae cross this here bridge for fear o' falling. I'm fair out of ideas too, glad ya saw me when ya did."

Gili: "I have an idea! If I throw this end of the ladder to you, you could trap it under a rock and climb up if yer feeling brave. Maybe you could secure this bridge for me so we can grab the diamonds!"

Strange Dwarf: "Haha, yer a fair reckless lady I see! We'll do it, n' split the treasure 50/50. Me name's Thalick, by da way."

I smile at Thalick, and toss him the end of the ladder. He catches it nimbly and secures it under a heavy rock before climbing up it. He hands it to me and I take it from him, then hold it tight as I walk across the bridge, using the ladder as a sort of safety tie. Thalick holds either side of the bridge feeling for movement in the stone, but before anything can happen I'm across. I mine the diamonds quickly and put them in the small sack I carry for gems. I toss them over the Thalick, who grins at me and runs away! I try to make my way across the bridge quickly and safely but by the time I get over there, he's long gone.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

Answer: I make a snap decision, and walk over to the young dwarf, wrapping an arm round his shoulder and shielding him from the potential murderers.

Gili: "What's wrong, young'un? Sure it's nowt to cry over!"

Young Dwarf: "*sniffles* It is, my home, south of the Hidden Mountains were attacked... All dead... I... I want my dah!"
At this, the tears start pouring down his face and I tried to comfort him, but I tap on my back reminds me of the shady looking dwarf. I whirl round to face him, and glare at his sullen face.

Gili:"A simple "'scuse me" wouldae been polite. State yer business wae this lad."

Shady Dwarf:"We come to kill 'im. He's the last of that rotten thievin' Stonefoot line, and 'e needs to be done in! Can't 'ave no remaining claim to our lands, see."

Gili:"He's a chile, how's 'e gunna take yer "reclaimed" lands from yer? Should be shamed of yerselves, acting like that."

I grab the hand of the other dwarf holding the knife and push him back towards his other friend. He growls at me, and I warn him to keep away. I take the young dwarf to the blacksmith of the town, a dwarf I'm friendly with, and ask him if he can look after the boy and train him as his family has been lost. I then go back to the inn, and notice the two dwarves are still hanging around. I casually walk to the inn-keeper, and quietly inform him that they are trouble-makers and murderers and I will be getting the town guard. He agrees, and says he'll attempt to keep them here. When the guard arrives, the dwarves put up a massive struggle. One was killed in the fight before the other was arrested, and confessed everything to his jailer. The besieged home of the young dwarf was reclaimed, and held in his name until the time in which he could live there.

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

Answer: I'd approach him with a broad smile, give him a friendly slap on the back, and ask where his tavern is.

Bar-keeper:"Just in 'ere, I was just out checkin' on the kegs when I spied ya! Come on in and rest yer weary legs!"

I follow him to a small doorway in the rock, hard to see from either side, and follow him in. The bright candlelight and smell of smoke and ale mixed with the hearty laughter of merry dwarves hits my senses as soon as I enter the room, a massive contrast from the dull cold tunnel outside. I sit at the bar and get talking to some of the regulars, finding this a good place to go. I mark it down on my map, then get started on the ale!

The moon is high in the sky by the time I make my way home, staggering along with a few of the other dwarves who live nearby. I bid them goodnight and sleep well into the morning. I wake up, stretch, and grin, knowing I'll be back at the hidden inn of the Hidden Mountains tonight.

Reviewing

ACCEPTED!

Nice, original background story. Very detailed ORQ's with dialogue and actions. I would've liked for you to put your ORQ's in a third-person point of view, but after looking over your them, I can see you know what you're doing when it comes to role-playing!

Good luck being one of the only Dwarven woman in existence!

(May the Creator have mercy on your soul)

Please wait for a GM to implement you. Welcome to Lord of the Craft.
