*A courier is sent to Kardel bearing a message, before beginning the courier reads out who the message is from*

"Dis Scroll beh frum Lord Dreek Ireheart Stormhammer, whu beh mayde regent boi Grund Keng Forin Grandaxe"

"The Jarl of Vaerhaven, Kardel, is to be removed from the position as Jarl of Vaerhaven. Kardel, while Jarl of Vaerhaven, has been convicted of housing rebels, assisting in inciting a civil war, and breaking TWO oaths made to the Grand King Thorin Grandaxe. The Regent, Lord Dreek Ireheart Stormhammer, has already chosen a successor for the Jarl. The Successor of Kardel Will be the Councilman Rosso. The former Jarl of Vaerhaven, Kardel, will not be allowed to serve on Vaerhaven's council and may not hold any government positions. The official Jarl of Vaerhaven is now Rosso."

*The Courier finishes reading the scroll and stands up, before leaving the castle.*

Kardel nods, as he hears the message: He had known this all along. He undoes the brooch of Jarlship, his cloak falling with it, and walks up to his chambers. He inserts his peculiar key into the lock and turns it, taking all of his possessions with him. While walking out of the hold, Kardel looks at his reflection in the ice, his amber eyes gleaming back at him. He sighs, fog dancing off his lips, and strokes his beard, as a tought comes to his head. He smirks "Da toime be cuming king Forin. . .suun ye will se wut Urguan 'as ta offer fer ye". Smiling, he boards his cart, already set up for him outside, and loads his things onto it. He looks at Vaerhaven for the last time, and spits on the ground "Wayste uv toime. Ah wus koind ta dis citeh, an' troied ta mayke et free, bot mah Fudder wus roit, noice people unleh get shiat en da end fer all deir kindness." He spurs his winter horse, and furiously rides out the gates of Vaerhaven, never to be seen by these lands again.
