2A/2B Question

So I was told that I needed to have 2b to kill when unprovoked. I have 2a now, and want to know this. Do I have to have 2b to kill when unprovoked? I mean like I am just going killing with some friends unprovoked. Please help, and thanks.

2a is killing unprovoked, 2b is killing in twisted ways, such as poisons. Unless you intend to put somebody through a Saw game, 2a should be fine.

Relgard is in fact correct, you only need 2a for unprovoked killing. Depending on how you kill, you'd need 2b. But it does not seem as if you need 2b. This could have been asked in the VA Q&A as well, but this is fine! :)
