The Media Wizard 2958 Share Posted June 7, 2013 Clavonita Bedevere sits alone at Dawn's Bakery one night in Salvus. She is seated in the table beside the staircase as she sips her mug of ale gingerly, reading a book. Suddenly, she looks up and glances around the bar, as if hearing something. She sighs heavily and grumbles, "Never should have touched that damn pillar". She looks back down and closes her book, leaning back and breathing out. After about a minute of sitting there in this state, she reaches into her satchel and retrieves a Quil and a small bottle of Ink. She then turns the small book over and opens it to the last page, writing on the back. When she finishes, she stands and leaves the book on the table for whoever finds it to read what she had written. She hastily makes her way from the Bakery and down the street, the whispers still haunting her mind... The poem she left reads; Haunted by whispers day and night, Nobody to calm me in my times of fright. As the moon rises higher and the sun falls lower, My desires for love make me more of a loner. The Blackmonts and Eagles do dastardly things, But both will fall when Good clips their wings. For the time judgement comes close at hand, And the fate of sanctity lies in this land. Lovers will die and friends will be lost, But all of this suffering will yield no good cost. As a war rages on between house and house, The loss of a hero will be that of a mouse. WuHanXianShi14 0 Share Posted June 7, 2013 Art wanders into the bakery, footsteps soft. He slides himself into a seat next to Clavonita, not saying a word. He cranes his head over her shoulder. "We put a fence around that thing for a reason, you know." He says, a hint of a humourous tone pervading in his voice. His expression then turns softer, and more serious. "Often when I live in troubled times, and when my mind is plagued, I like to put focus on one thing, a beacon of hope. Something or someone to hold on to to keep myself from going mad. Know what I mean?"
