Hi guys.  I'm coming back to LotC after some real-life issues.  I used to play a couple minor, unsignificant characters back in Asulon and a bit of Elysium, but I started dropping out several months ago.  I'm looking forward to coming back in-game, getting back into the forums, and having some more fun on the server.  

 

EDIT:  Oh yeah, and I'm interested in whats been going on in Athos lately.  It seems to be quite more volatile

What's been going on:
Mog left, along with most(?) of the WR.  
Dwarves won the war-thingy between Urguan and Oren, and claimed Salvus. 
Anthos now has an antagonist, the Burzûmkûtotaz!  Very cool, make sure you get a chance to RP with them!

Really?  So the Orcs are gone now?  What happened to the Holy Oren Empire, and what is all this about a "civil war"?  

 

Nevertheless, this sounds way better than the blandness/boringness of late-Asulon.  

 

Also, YAY FOR HORSES and the new land management thing.  

 

Last question:  what is this all about "iron mines" and et cetera?  Does it have anything to do with the limited resources idea that was floating around?
