After his wife's death, Williams’s father went into a state of grief that caused William to have to gain all the money for their family. At the age of 6, Williams’s father sold him to an apprentice brewer, to help brew Ale and Mead for a local tavern. After many years, William became a master brewer, and the most popular tavern helper in the entire town of Galahar. When William was 16 years of age, the master brewer died, leaving the tavern to him to take care of. William became the owner of the richest tavern in the town of Galahar, and soon had a large house, and a tavern that was the size of three other taverns combined. Unfortunately, Williams father died by drowning whilst drunk in the lake. William became so obsessed with grief, that he began going down the same path as his father, falling into a drunken stupor. Soon after, his tavern began to fail without William brewing, leaving only his apprentices to serve the tavern. After a year of brooding, as if life wasn't bad enough for William, the undead war began. When most of the survivors fled to Galahar, William merely hid in his cellar, never leaving for 3 years, except to be seen to gather supplies. Soon after the settling of Galahar, bandits took Williams tavern, forcing him to the streets, where he snapped out of his grief in order to live. After losing his tavern to the bandits, William took the first boat he could find to Anthos, hoping to get away from the madness in Galahar. He has since wandered from town to town, looking for a place to finally make a tavern, and hopefully make a new life. William has no feelings for others, but after time may lighten up on some people. He drinks constantly, and sleeps most days away. Ambitions for the Future: His ambitions for the future are to form a new tavern, and gain back the riches he once lost. Personality: His personality is angry with his brooding, and has a very short temper. Skills: His skills include, brewing, cooking, and has minor skills with a bow. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): He has unusually large eyes for his age, and looks surprisingly young and handsome. He wears plain clothing and keeps his face at a constant stare all the time. He still has an aura of youth around him even in his maturity. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point. ____1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do? Answer: Walking past the palace, William glanced slightly toward a dark cloaked figure. He saw this figure sketchily approaching the gate. William continues to stare at the stranger when the cloaked man sees him staring. They hold each other’s gaze for a few seconds, and then William takes a swig and looks away. William glanced again at the guards, saw they did not care, and shrugged off the entire ordeal to go for a drink whilst in his tavern study. He heard the guards blow the emergency horn as he was on the road back to his tavern.2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react? Answer: One hot day, whilst wandering the forests, drinking some of his extra strong Orcish Ale, William comes across a clearing with a cottage. He sees an old man being robbed by bandits. He glances at the bandits, who look at him warily. William licks his lips and puts one hand on his bow, which sends the bandits into a flurry of activity. Seeing this activity and seeing he is hopelessly outnumbered, William takes his hand off his bow, and takes a swig of orcish ale. William shrugs at them as they begin to disarm the old man. William uncaringly begins walking again, and takes another drink as he hears the old man cry out in pain.3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens). Answer: Whilst William is walking amongst the stalls of wares within the great capital, he spies what he has been looking for within a stall. He sees the orcish alcohol, the strongest in the kingdoms, sitting within the stall of a man claiming that “Any price you name, we shall accept it!”. William picks up the alcohol and says, “Me thinks this stuff be worth 2 gold, I be taking it to good use after all.” The shop keep looks warningly at William, and asks “Would the good ser be willing to go to 3 gold? A man like myself must eat after all, and you seem to have an excess of gold after all! Besides, orcish alcohol is hard to come by, with those orcs being the only ones to make it and all.”, William gives him a glare and says “Well now, looks like we have a liar here. You said any price, and any price for me means 2 gold.” The shop keep sighs and accept the offer, giving William a grudging glare as he retreats back to his horse. ski_king3 0 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Unfortunately, this was not stated in one of the previous denials of your application, but your power-emoting definition is a bit off. Feel free to read this thread from our wiki, it should help you understand it quite well. As stated in one of your previous applications, Galahar and the Undead were both in Aegis. We have moved from Aegis to Asulon, and from Asulon to Anthos, so there is no Undead, and no town of Galahar. There is, however, a Kingdom of Galahar, which has formed only recently, so it should not be significant in your character's biography. You also did not post your server application on the Minecraft Forum Post. Please do so next time. Lastly, your first ORQ could be a smidge longer, but this is not my primary concern. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. You may reapply 24 hours after the time on the post below this one.
