lιoɴ 248 Share Posted August 3, 2013 Wulfric and his men stand in front of a crowd in Kingston, and the crowd seems slightly... empty to him. He pulls out a scroll, speaks in a very dark and disappointed voice. (( Here's some music. I will speak without the accent))http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJ2jEcHVG74 "Now, men and women of Salvus, with the new legion in place you must reach your highest point. We've given you another chance to prove yourself. Back when Oren closed down Kingston, it as a fall for all of you. People no longer come to your gates. People don't believe you are what you used to be anymore. You must never close the gates. The gates shall stay opened like it did at your time of success. Open those gates to let the merchants trade their goods, let the men of all races walk upon your streets. With the new legion in place you will be able to hold security, there is nothing to be afraid of anymore. You are part of the Grand Kingdom now. If you ever want it to be a place of glory and peace.. all you have to do... is open those gates." Wulfric walks away with his men, he doesn't want to hear any response to what he has said. He wont change his mind no matter what they have to say.
aron. 427 Share Posted August 3, 2013 King Aron Bedevere looks to his back, men and women working to rebuilt the utterly ransacked city. Shaking his head, he turns to face the gate again, his gaze silent, and practically expressionless. [[ Just an ooc response, for ya'. I was planning on reopening tomorrow, but with the antagonist attack, and the fact that I work, it wont be likely. I will be opening the city, and selling shops/houses by monday at the latest. It's not a matter of not being protected, it is simply that we do not want to open the city, and be scrambling around to fix shops, and set prices. Give it time ;) PM me if you have any further questions; I'd love to answer them ]]
