History

Rethu grew up as any other peasant of Abresi, learning simple yet essential skills from his father and mother throughout his childhood such as farming and trading. Rethu continued to live his life out like any other peasant, constantly farming and trading in order to get food and money to support his family. Rethu’s life stayed like this for quite a while, he continued to live as a shoddy, poor peasant boy until discovering a organization tilted ‘The Clerical Order’, Rethu quickly learnt and heard of their religious ways. Rethu would often pray and do other good deeds like handing out food and money out of his own pocket to the less fortunate (even though he was pretty unfortunate himself), Rethu’s life became highly based upon following the patrons and doing good deeds. At the age of 23, High Prophet Braxis began taking pupils into the order, Braxis took few pupils, Rethu included. Rethu’s life slowly changed as he started to learn the holy arts of priest healing, though, a few days after his 24th birthday, Braxis had left, vanishing without a trace, only leaving behind few scrolls and books for Rethu to teach himself off of. Braxis had left the Order to his successor, Hosper Blackthorn. Rethu sought after Hosper, finally finding him in the well known guild of mages and adventurers, the Arcane Delvers. Rethu joined the guild to keep in good contact with Hosper. Rethu now resides in Lenniel, a town the Delvers constructed themselves, Rethu still practices holy magic, often visiting Hosper for a bit of help.
