The clicking of hooves pounded throughout Lenfarthing as the busy Hobbits packed the cart destined for New Abresi. What the Hobbits didn't know was that a stowaway had fallen into the cart, something more dangerous than the rock Posco had put into his soup instead of a potato.

The old rat waddled around, too fat to move the creature rolled and waddled to get around. Seeing the opportunity for free grain and a way to move he seized the opportunity and hopped along. Fleas and ticks hopped around inside of its fur falling into the crate. The cover fell on with a thud, the rat beginning its journey to New Abresi.

What the Hobbits or anyone even the rat knew, was that a disease had begun to brew inside of the rat. The rat mid trip died, his body left to rot and whatever he held on him spreading throughout the crate. The cart stopped, the clopping of hooves coming to a halt after the three day travel to Abresi and the crates were unloaded those handling the crates the most susceptible to the disease.

Those who would be unfortunate enough to catch the disease would suffer from painful boils on the skin followed by fever and coughing. The disease is spread through the air or by contact with the boils. However the disease is fragile and if it is caught it may die out before it can come in contact with anyone

((We've been there, done that multiple times. First time it was awesome, second it was shite, and now I don't doubt it won't be very good. But whatever, just my 2 cents))

A peasant ate a good rat stew that night.
