  1. Ser Hildebrand Mondblume casts a meaningful gaze at the Karosgrad docks, thinking to himself, "An adventure awaits us in the near future. I hope that the ties and bonds between this forming crew grow stronger and flourish while we explore and begin to colonize the new lands, so that we may succeed in the long task we've been given to go into the unforgiving and completely unknown lands of the Attenlund." The armor clad knight took one final look at Haense's setting sun, which lit the sky in bright pink streaks that sprung out into the vast skies of the region, before turning back toward his home in hopes of catching his dear friends and son in the tavern so he could strengthen his ties to those he cared for.

  4. Hildebrand sat soundly by the fire, contemplating the journey ahead. The man prepared a hand written note for his children, as the days before his hunt quickly winded down. "Zy shall become a monster in order to slay one...." Smoke from his pipe wafted into the air as he spoke in his small study. "Zy vill have quite zhe fight ahead of me.... von't zy."

  6. “What gives you worry overtakes you. Let’s work together in order to lessen the worry and get your voices heard.” ~The reason that I personally see myself as an eligible candidate in the debate for Tribune~ Once I had to face many goodbyes to my family and had to bear the deaths of two of the role models that I admired most, I began to think. Though I have taken up knighthood and a role in the HRA, I want to be able to better the lives of those who live within Haense so that their lives become more fulfilled and memorable within this fine capital. Once I had realized this, sought out to do good every day for this nation in hopes that people’s lives would better from it. I found myself not seeing it as enough, which is right about when I thought about going into government. It sounds like the perfect role to me. I see it as a place, where I can actively try to make the lives of citizens better in many ways within the Duma in a way that I know I will make an impact if I do change something. A place that I can make the voices of those who feel unheard known to the Duma. I hope by making these intentions known. These wantings clear to you, the reader, that I have shown my case as to why I think of myself as an eligible candidate for tribune. I sincerely hope that you will consider me while you vote for the positions in tribune. ~Mondblume presence~ As many of you most likely know of my family’s presence, not necessarily all of the thoughts are positive toward us. Once the numbers of our family split in half to Norland in Haense, I grew somewhat sad. For if there was a good sum of them in Norland, what would happen if one of them died when I had the ability to protect them if I was there? Well, I decided that I wouldn’t take it anymore. I grew the need to help and protect the families of Haense, including the one I’m a part of, in access. I don’t want or wish for anyone’s worries to drive them from this city. I don’t want anyone who lives here to feel unsafe or unneeded. For I cherish every person of this nation as if they were my own family. ~My Goals~ !1! Make a way for spectators in Duma to have more of a chance to voice their opinions by a spectator poll that may impact the way someone would vote on the bill. !2! Get the people’s voices more heard, possibly inserting some sort of concern box in the palace or leaving a partial place in Duma open to those who have general, rational, concerns to mention to the seats of Duma; allowing the people to take every voiced concern and written concern into reason whilst writing bills to present into the Duma. !3! To organize some sort of way n order to make current Duma discussions more widespread; like a board of discussed bills or something along those lines. A Candidate for Tribune Signed, Hildebrand Mondblume
  7. Hildebrand nods his head while looking the pamphlet "A good man." he'd say happily with respect inn his voice "Lets become tribune together, yeah?" the man mumbled out after, his words in the same tone, whilst sitting at the breakfast table with the rest of his family.
  8. Overview of Bounty batch: [!] A note looms above the other bounties, indicating importance and more significance over the other bounties. These nailed down paper read: Dear adventurer, recently, there have been disturbances of all sorts down here within the sewers that have been becoming more evident and problematic for those who ally themselves to us. I’m afraid that before more pressing issues are tackled, we must band together in order to clear this dark and dangerous place. Different pathways lay blocked by webs, nests, outposts, etc. Without further ado, I present these bounties that the first meeting, with our two partnering companies, has decided on together. I ask that you take these on with great caution. It may not be too wise to roam alone down here, since you don’t know what you’ll encounter. Good luck ~Retracted Name~ :Bounty: *completed* There have been blockages and clogs on the east side of the sewer’s second level. It is requested by those who take this bounty, open the paths and tunnels of the eastern segment of the 2nd level of the sewers. In return, they will receive half of whatever gear is left behind by the monsters, as well as a certain amount of minas that will be determined upon completion of the task. It is said by the NSOH, that nests belonging to arachnids, of some sort, completely prevent their safe passage through the tunnel. (Likely will need to span for, at most, up to 3 events) Reputation gain- 5-10 reputation (The Bounty Dealer) 3-8 reputation (NSOH) :Bounty: **COMPLETED** The corpses of burnt men and women plague the far reaches of the sewer’s bottom level. But these are no run in the mill burns you see. They are ones caused by acid and bi-product of an unknown source. One of the Lions very went missing down there, in their own reckless attempt to clear out whatever laid within the treacherous depths of the sewers. I want you to find and kill whatever it may be that has many good people to be mysteriously killed. In return, I offer the rewards of whatever may be on the creature and a little bit of Ferrum depending on how the job goes. (1 event) Reputation gain- 1-5 reputation (The Bounty Dealer) 3-5 reputation (Lions Pack -hedge knights-) :Bounty: **Completed** (Unaffiliated Bounty) It has been said that many men and women have gone missing near the docks of Haense. No one knows what it might be, but some reports say that those who near too close to the water’s edge are violently pulled beneath the icy grips of Haense’s ocean; never to be seen again. Whatever it is can’t be considered too great for the populace of Haense, or any who travel and roam throughout the area. I humbly ask that this problem be solved with utmost caution. Those who fair this bounty alone may end up meeting the same fate of many who have gotten too close to whatever lingers in the waters of Haense. Being dragged beneath the vast and frostbitten waters, never to be seen again by those the victim loved and cherished. In return for slaying whatever it is that sits down there, I offer in reward alcohol and minas which will be determined upon your return to me... good luck (1 event) Reputation gain- 1-5 (The Bounty Dealer) :Bounty: A gang of bandits has been forming down here in the sewers, making this a nest of their own. Located in the western reaches of the sewer’s second floor, the bandits have harassed the NSOH’s travels across the sewers in their attempts of crossing them. Whoever is able to take down their outpost that lays within the sewers will be rewarded in minas and Ferrum, as well as bronze which will be determined upon the task’s completion. (Will be at least 2-3 events) Reputation gain- 5-10 reputation (The Bounty Dealer) 3-8 reputation (NSOH) :Bounty: (Unaffiliated Bounty) (Status taken) It is entirely unknown what lies within the third level of the sewers.it is said that the heads of the elderly litter the grounds of a particular location somewhere in the sewers. Since I think anyone can agree that the killing of any form of people isn’t acceptable. I’d like for you to go down there, seek out the location of whoever, or whatever, has been committing the slaughter of the elderly. The reward is whatever loot that you can find. (2 events) Reputation gain- 5-10 (The Bounty Dealer) OOC note: After these run out, there will be more. Remember that anyone can take these and if they are gone before you can get one don’t worry! I’m sure those who have taken up one of the bounties will gladly take you along with them. If not, then contact me privately (Ziggity#0979) and we’ll work something out for you to go out on a solo event. Also, remember that bounties will need to be scheduled privately with me in order to set up times that will work out for all parties involved. As this is the start of the new season, I welcome any and all feedback from those who go on the events that I will be hosting. I hope this complete rehauling of the bounty dealer will work out for this bounty hunting group! Here’s to many bounties to come my friends! 10. ~The Arbiter~ ~OOC Message to introduce Companies~ As you can see, companies are being introduced this season to the bounty dealer - along with a plethora of other things. But what is a company you may ask? Well, it is quite simple really. They are going to be the basis of where all of the bounties come from. Plus, they consequently will give out rewards upon maxing your reputation out with them. For every bounty that will be on the bounty board, a clear label will be written alongside it stating what company it is from. Some bounties are known as “unaffiliated bounties”. They are pretty straight forward. Any unaffiliated bounty completed counts only toward the reputation you bear with the Drifter. No one else. Though, completing bounties issued out by companies grant you a reputation bonus towards their specific group + the Drifter. Once you have gotten to the maximum reputation with one company, you are rewarded for your work with an item. Though once you’ve reached this point with any given company, your scores with every other one will become voided basically. You’ll still have the opportunity to reach the max with the Drifter. Though, it is a different story when you look at the companies. After obtaining a reward issued by one single company, you will not be able to obtain any of the other rewards. 1 reward is issued per account. If I could this would be different, but I hope you understand that I’m not gonna be able to afford what is needed in order to supply multiple personas with both minas and reputation rewards. If you wish to lighten my load and donate to the bounty dealer, contact me either on Discord (#Ziggity0979), or LOTC (Ign: Limo_Man). Without further ado, I leave you to the rp post that I’ve prepared beneath this (Wanted to get this message through first since I deem it more of a priority). Also, if you want to keep up to date with the bounty board and all of the posts, there is a discord. Link is here: Discord here :p ~A Battle of Morals~ Dear The Arbiter, we hope this message reaches you kindly as the others have. We request your presence once more. We know that you’ve deemed us as unworthy partners in your business, but this company is all you’ve got. I know that you’re probably grasping at dirt right now, and are in shambles after your mentors both left you far too early. Believe me. I know how it feels. But if you choose to partner with our company and allow us access to your bounty board, you’ll no doubt learn a thing or two about the craft of bounty dealing. Unfortunately, you can probably guess that we cannot help much with enhancing your abilities in combat, otherwise we wouldn’t be asking for your help. Think about it, and when you realize that you need us to function, we’ll be located where it's indicated on the map from yours truly. -The Northern shroud of herbology Flinging the piece of paper onto the crumpled up piles of opened notes and letters, Hildebrand furrows his brow as he pulls the flap of the envelope he holds open once more in order to unveil a charted map of the sewers. Flipping behind it revealed another map, this time of Norland and its surrounding area with a marked spot on the chart. “Vhat Zhe hell do zhey know about zhe deaths zy mourn?” Hildebrand spit out in a disgruntled stare toward Lincoln Ignius’s poster, all while keeping a calm tone in his low voice. “Zy can do zhis on my own. Only zhose vho have righteous cause may ask for zhe grace of Haense’s peoples to help zhem.” Grabbing the letter, he’d crumple it up and throw it into the lantern where a small pile of charred ash had formed, Likely the product of reading other letters. After fraughting over the slips that decided whether or not he’d stay afloat as a bounty dealer, one last parchment found its way rightly onto his desk. Unsealing the scroll revealed to him an unexpected passage that proposed business. Dear The one that Others refer to as The Arbiter. My name is Ser Trur. A lowly hedge knight in the grand scheme of things. I request aid in my final quest that I and a small sum of men partake in. I suppose you wonder why we ask you for your aid, yeah? Well, its simple really. Our small forming band of hedge knights made us be seen as a strong presence among those who inhabited the Wick Woods all that time ago. Though we weren’t very prosperous. Seen as a superior force by the few that did support us, To us, our comrades mean everything. We value our lives just as much as others. That is one of our principles after all. We’ve sworn an oath to fight alongside each other and to serve one man named Trygglyndur. This man united us under one cause to exterminate and bring justice to as many people who had wronged as possible. Trygglyndur. The name that means loyalty in a foreign tongue. This man led us with heroic principles that we accepted and still abide by to this day even though he’s met his end. The man we looked up to and adored like a loving father is now dead. Ruthlessly slaughtered by a man who is endowed with the gift to kill, and is known as no other than Farlazn Ignius. Son of the man you seek out. We, hedge knights, live for this, and only this one Hollowed purpose; To force penance for the atrocities that this murderer has committed. If you do wish to side with us, then seek us out beneath the docks of Haense when dusk draws its first breath. -A Lion’s Pack After reading a letter such as this one, what choice did Hildebrand have other than to explore the offer? Honestly. What’s the worst that could happen. He’d already gone through the rest of the offers. Placing the letter onto the table, he grabs the marked chart of Norland from his previous senders and sighs in an internal struggle of morals, “Zy von’t have enough minas to keep zhis up if zy sign vith bigshot hedge knights now vill zy?” He’d go on to examine the charted map while dragging open his creaky drawer to unveil the fabled, Drifter’s pipe. “Might as vell get a smoke. Zhis is already hard enough… barely any business keeping me afloat at zhe moment.” Pausing to light the Drifter’s renowned pipe, Hildebrand again brought his attention back to the map before continuing on to himself. “Certainly never a dull moment. Isn’t zhat right Drifter?” He’d inquire as smoke began to fall from his mouth into the air, as then it loomed over him. Almost like it was watching him. Looking over him even.
  11. 0-0 *Hildebrand chokes up some of his Carrion while reading the poster from embarrassment * "Ve are gonna have a long talk about zhis"
  12. *Upon hearing the news of his mentor's passing, Hildebrand frowns as a small sum of tears stream down his face at a slow and serene pace. "Zhou vere supposed to stay vith me until zy became a knight..." His sorrowful speech then paused for a moment, in order for him to wipe the tears from his beady eyes; while also keep from having more flood out of his already shaken figure. After his tears had subsided, and he had sat down onto his cot, Hildebrand - then - continued his speech to his former teacher that sat somewhere above him in the Seven Skies* "No matter...zy vill make zhou proud even vhile zhou are up zhere in zhe skies. Zy vill become a knight for zhou...Ser Ivan." The boy then took a glance, across the room, at the long sword that Ser Ivan had given him at the very start of their training together. Once Hildebrand felt he had gone through enough memories of their...intense trainings, he layed down into the comforting grasps of the covers and blankets that began to lull him off into a dazed and tired state.* "Zhou never did take it easy on me or zhourself. Rest now...zhou have earned it. Zhere is no reason to fraught over any burdens or hardships zhat zhou once bore or carried alone since now, all of zhose vho carry zhour legacy on vill take it from here. As vill zy." Hildebrand's eyes, while letting out a slight exasperated chuckle, shut as he'd make an attempt at sleeping after Ser Ivan's death.
  13. ~The Season of Rebirth~ Almaris. What has this new land brought to the world? A sanctuary away from the horrid natural disasters that ultimately lead to the end of Arcas? New lands to explore and colonize? Well, young Hildebrand found something else. Something that he felt meant more than new land to explore. Or even a new kingdom that would hold great promise for the, now, independent Haense. He found a rebirth. Once the Drifter had passed, the talk of bounty dealings had mostly vanished from the talks, throughout the kingdom of Haense. Though, this once widely known, juvenile, the operation didn’t go out entirely. Nothing is ever truly dead the moment they die. When one passes, no matter who it might have been, they leave behind a legacy. It is whoever takes this and makes something of their memories that will, in the end, keep them alive (in essence). If no one carries their legacy on, then the lost soul will just drift away into the darkness of the unknown. ~A Gleaming Legacy [Prologue]~ Exploring the streets of Haense, Hildebrand spewed out the pipe smoke into the chilled air that filled the beautiful night sky. He’d pass through the inn, the square, the barracks. All he could think of was the Drifter. Without his wagon, would his legacy meet its end? After a few hours of brooding over this simple question, Hildebrand began to feel a need for vengeance, arising deep within his heart. After all, Lincoln Ignius still lingered on somewhere within Almaris. His mentor’s passing would tear the poor lad up inside. Making him question his ideals and morality. Eventually, standing from where he sat against the barracks wall, Hildebrand began to then make his way toward one of the entrances into the sewers. The cold night only became chillier, as he walked through the wet sewers of the sleeping city. Eventually, Hildebrand ended up encountering a small, little opening within the walls of the sewer. The boy began to drag all that he owned into there, the following morning; putting his bounty dealing cove together after a while. Once all was said and done, Hildebrand grasped a knife and hurled it forward at the poster of Lincoln Ignius he had hung up. “I will honor your legacy Drifter. Though you were quite a sly and selfish mentor, you were still my mentor.” The young man spoke in anguish, clenching his fist tightly whilst he longed for the day to see the man who put an end to his mentor, dead. In ashes, embers always live on. It is if we choose to reignite those embers that make legacies live on. With all that has been said, I welcome you to The Season of Rebirth. (OOC message): I am so ecstatic right now! Just now getting the post out for the start of the new season. I admit there were some flaws last season (that will be addressed now). But first, and foremost, I’d love to give a big thank you to everyone who has come this far with me. These bounties have become a big portion of my LOTC experience, and I am so glad that I get to share it with you all! As you can probably guess, I do not have nearly enough to start the bounties up right now (Unless your ok with doing them for free 😜 ). If you would like to help out in any way, whether it be donating minas or build materials, any help is welcome. If you are looking to donate, I’d go directly to me (Limo_man), or into the sewers where the bounty dealing area is. I will warn you though, if you are caught in there irply, and are not part of the HRA, then you’ll be fined. Changes that will be made this season. The Bounty Board: Last season, because of the number of bounties that were being run on a regular basis, I usually put together quick bounties through outlines that I had ready. This season will be different in that aspect, to bring more diversity and choice into bounties that are available; also providing the ability for them to be more immersing and in-depth. The Reputation system: This change will really only affect the tier system. The bounties from the bounty board will give different amounts of reputation for each one completed during the season. Once you’ve accumulated enough reputation, you’ll be granted the seasonal medallion + a few other rewards if I can afford to get them. WE HAVE A LOGO NOW?!: Yes, we do. There was supposed to be one last season, but I procrastinated and didn't want to make it. But, this season, we have a logo. I don't like to speak for the things I make or accomplish, so if you could, please let me know how it turned out. (Still can't format for my life *Internally cries*) Also, I'm dumb. I ALWAYS forget the discord link, so here it is if your interested on seeing how the bounty dealer's building goes. I'll make have to make another post regarding how the bounty system will work since I felt that it wasn't covered entirely in this one. Have a good day/night everyone!
  14. I felt it right to say my inspiration was from a creature in Diablo 3 named the Fetish. The little things kinda made me think this up a bit better since I've been trying to draw up a creature idea for a while now :p.
  15. The Parva Pariunts This was the best pic I could find =-( Traits and description Resembling small deformed children and frequently referred to as the Tarzenians, the Parva Pariunts, are most commonly found in the Wick Woods near Haense. These small abominations had originated in the Wick Wood. Today, they are thought to be children who have been SO mentally damaged and abandoned by civilization, that their bodies undergo a reaction called Tarzindinitus; the process in which the body adapts to its surroundings to an exponential level for the price of the host’s civilized being. The Parva Pariunts are known to be able to understand basic common, as well as have the ability to digest raw meats that would typically harm other descendants. These small little feral things are usually about 3-4 ft tall, having the stamina of a marathoner, and speed that rivals a fox. Though Tarzenians have quite outstanding stamina, and speed, they are quite fragile. Some might say that they are about as fragile as a small infant. These small runts are quite hostile when found, as they have it in their heads that you’ll actively try to destroy their surroundings. Though weak, the small creatures have the ability to use and craft common tools and are quite potent if in a horde; when one appears, it is likely that more lie around somewhere. Reports say that the groups can span from anywhere from 5-25+ Tarzenians. Origins and history Back when the Drifter wandered throughout Haense as their renowned bounty dealer, he would ask for a lot of animal hides, or skins (whenever he had sent those willing out on various bounties). The reason would be assumed to pay off some sort of unknown debt that he had owned. As the bounty hunters had left the monumental amounts of rotting animal carcasses, and corpses, littered throughout the Wick Wood once they had skinned their prey, the Drifter would unknowingly play a hand in the creation of these small little gremlins. The growth of these small little goblin-like things would not be apparent until the introduction of the Eagle Legion into the Wick wood who would enslave the slum dwellers of these forests, tormenting and abandoning those who served them for the purpose of fun. It was said that the small children who would be released from their abusive grasps would have been so mentally deteriorated and scarred, that growth became impossible for them for the trade-off of their horrifying transformation. Now holding a slight presence in the Haeanse Wick-Wood, these things would now have become a symbol of folklore that has been morphed into stories in order to scare kids into not wandering into the woods alone. Characteristics/Behavior: The Parva Pariunt acts as if it were a barbaric child that had gone mentally unstable/mad. Known for their mischievous nature, Tarzenians take from those who camp, or visit, in their habitats. Whether it be food or weapons, the small little gremlins will take anything they can get their little slender hands-on. If the Tarzenians feel their life or habitat is threatened, they will attack any who have caused or are believed ay bring harm, without a second thought. Appearance: These small little things can span anywhere from 3’0 to 4’5 feet tall. With the concept of a child’s body, they are generally, extremely slender beings that look exceediingly malnourished; along with the exception of a few deformations on some occasions. Though not common, deformities do happen to the Parva Pariunts, and when they do, it is drastic. Sometimes they can even prevent or obstruct range of movement or sight depending on how bad they are. OOC Reasoning for lore write: Throughout this map, and my time as the Drifter, my event’s have held a lasting impact on the Wick Wood’s environment and ecosystem to my belief. I thought it would be cool to sort of show and give back to players who have attended bounty events, that the way they handle these events and certain made choices chad left lasting, or short term, impacts on the game’s world around them; and not just the story for once. Habitat: The Parva Pariunts can be found in any and all environments. They are more common to find in forests based on their place in an ecosystem. Diet: The Tarzenian's Preferred food is raw meat. Though they will eat just about anything they are able to get. Redlines: -Very vulnerable to any and/or all attacks. They are able to be killed somewhat easily by bare hands. -Even though these things can be understood to a basic degree, they are untamable to anyone who would dare to try and tame one. -Are sophisticated enough to use the tools they find or create their own tools that are very primal. I.E stone tools, javelins, short-bows, spears, daggers, arrow-heads. Nothing above basic weaponry is within their ability to use. -Very fast. As fast as a fox. -High stamina count. Can endure costly movement well. Usually has enough to run a marathon. -Can Understand Common/any language previously known, NOT SPEAK IT
  16. ~A Three Man Army~ Looking back on the events of that night, I see just how impatient and senile I have become. It started when the three men approached my wagon, ready to take on whatever it could have been that awaited them. So, of course, I would send them out on the bounty that I had been saving just for this group of bounty hunters who had proven themselves time and time again. I need it to be over soon, otherwise, I may not live to see my retribution come to an end. They had spoken of wandering out into the Wick Wood and being attacked by members of the Shadow Legion, though the slum dwellers and I found ourselves with a problem as three men who had claimed to be slum dwellers sprung out in a violent rage; attacking whoever stepped up to face them. I couldn’t bear to watch needless killing, after watching as a mother and her son were brutally struck down by the Legion’s lackeys, I sprung into action. Once a bounty hunter, always a bounty hunter I guess. Sorry about that, I have gone got off-topic. No matter, but anyway, back to the entry. The three had gone out into the Wick Wood where they found themselves trapped in an all-out brawl that would last for just enough time to allow a, previously, unknown force of 25 men and women to make their way toward Haense in order to attack the slum dwellers. Fyodor and Jackson wouldn’t allow that of course, leaving their comrade Hans, choosing to go out and face the 25 in efforts to prevent the deaths of the slum dwellers. Needless to say, their masterful strategizing and ability to fight brought them through it quite well; after only killing 5 men, they were able to rout them through the abrupt bombardment of Carrion cocktails that Fyodor had thrown out to stop the advance. I hope that boy Hildebrand will grow up one day to be like one of those two, he could learn a thing or two from them. I knew it would come to this, though a relief it didn’t happen, I thought I sent the three out to their deaths after I realized what the Legion had been planning. Once they had returned, it was obvious that they’d had enough for the night. Though they came back empty-handed, without the map I had previously requested. I need, desperately, to find where the map is; otherwise, I may pass before I want to. Whatever I do or don’t do, it must be thought out and carefully planned to ensure that I live long enough to see Lincoln die. -1791 The Drifter “I’ve become just what I had not wanted to. But I’m glad it’ll all be over soon. I both look forward to, and dread, that day.” (OOC stuff) I wanted to try something new here, so I decided to take a page from one of the Drifter’s entries from the journal he has. Also, on another note, my man Titanic needs a new arm, lol. My first post that looks like it is formatted correctly?! 19. ~We Are Slums~ (Origins of those in the Wick Woods Mainly for an upcoming eventline :p) History: The slums of the Wick wood had been a direct cause of the fall of the One-Eyed Cult. They were groups that were mainly formed of a generation that had been trapped within the livestock pens of the cultist’s camps; that has only just now regained freedom. The slum dwellers lack a lot of knowledge, as only a small majority of the dwellers are able to write and read. Though these are resilient folk, they have recently found themselves having taxes imposed on their lands by the Legion of Eagles. If they refused or lacked sufficient recourses to pay this heinous group, the dwellers found themselves either taken as payment to use as torture dummies or dead after being relentlessly tortured by those who had imposed taxes upon them. Just recently, the people of the slums would be saved from the endless cycle of torture, by Fyodor Erdhart and through the leadership of Albert Tulane. They would escape and set up near the Drifter’s wagon, right outside of Haense gates after having a very close call in the Wick Woo that would have left them dead. https://discord.gg/euaqSVQ if you wanna join the discord
  20. ~Close to the Edge~ The cold, gripping night, overtook Haense with its overwhelming presence. The Drifters wagon that remained void of warmth and vibrancy, would only get colder during the night; leaving it to the hunters that had chosen to approach this wagon to provide it with life. Now that the Drifter had placed trust into these ‘regulars’ that have started to take on bounties, he saw it to only be fit that they went on this next bounty to finally save Hans’s (event npc’s) daughter. After it had been 3 years of the Drifter relentlessly searching for the girl’s location, he had found it. 3 years can make some go mad you know…and I am not speaking of the Drifter. Choosing to send them out, the group of brave men would be halted by Hans (event npc), as he would beg as if he were a starving animal. Hans (Event npc) only wished for one thing, and that was to be brought along with them whilst they went to save his daughter. After hours of pondering they would shakily agree to grant the slum dweller, his request. On their way out into the deep, dark, depths of the Wick Wood, the men found themselves harshly outnumbered after a small recconasainse of the outpost. Knowing that they would need to manouver, and strategize with utmost care, the men formulated a plan that included Hans Dragovitch disguising, his already somewhat Eagle Legion-like presence, to fit in with their ranks, by pinning one of their Eagle medallions that their men from previous encounters had carried on them. Though the disguise had seemingly worked out well, being that the man who questioned Hans would go as far as trusting him with the livestock cages. Though he would be tasked with the unbelievably hard job of deciding on a slum dweller who lived; the reason being that the Eagles had abducted various slum dwellers from slums to use them as symbols of their power over those who had taken up slums in the Wick Wood. The choice would seem obvious, as their only reason for being out there was to save the girl. Though it had seemingly pained himm for a moment, sacrificing the life of an old man as tribute for when the eagles went to collect and torment taxes out of the slum dwellers. Not liking the idea of those that Fyodor had previously saved being tortured and killed without mercy, he would begin riding his horse over in a mad rush in attempts to get to the slum dwellers before the Eagles had. Once the main forces of Eagles had left the nest (that was cheesy, I know), the group of hunters took the opportunity to charge into the lightly defended camp, and save Hans’s daughter (event npc). This fight would be taken care of with ease, as there would barely be any resistance to be put up. Meanwhile though it would be cut seriously close, Fyodor would manage to successfully convince the slum dwellers, who had been being lead by his old friend Albert, to escape back to Haense and set themselves up nearby the Drifters wagon. As you could probably imagine, an empty slums would piss the Eagles off, throwing them into a rage that would relentlessly burn on whilst they destroyed the slums. Not being able to accept the destruction of their homes, some, now dead, slum dwellers rushed back to attack the Eagles. Not wanting these men to die, Fyodor rushed after them, as shortly Hans and Thorn would have develpoed an insatiable thirst for combat and violence; forcing them to start a dead sprint to the smoke filled slums.Though it woul seem that once they had reached the battle field, Fyodor and the slum dwellers would have taken care of the Eagles for the most part. Returning to the Drifter’s wagon would leave an angry bounty dealer yelling at Fyodor for allowing these slum dwellers to set up at his wagon. Now expecting his payment, the Drifter would now make plans to continue their unrelenting advances on their pushes for retribution against this Legion. ~In the Shadows~ The harsh flames of a torch would echo out in the Wick Wood as a lone man wandered throughout the forest, uncovering the remnants of the battle that had taken place against the slum dwellers. The reaction of this man was quite odd, as he seemed to understand and know who caused this. Walking over dead bodies, he’d light the dormant pits of dwindling flames that surrounded the camp only to reveal 5 who stood at his side. Underneath his hooded cloak, he’d utter the words “We’re coming for you..Drfiter” the man spoke in a harsh, and deepened tone that would be filled with calm anger. This unknown man would spit on one of the slum dweller’s bodies before being followed out of the camp by that five others that had accompanied him out there.
  21. ~A Key in Major Scale~ The outside of the Drifter’s wagon loomed over the bounty hunters who had stood affront it, whilst it gave off its usual essence of perpetual gloom and dolor. The Drifter leaned back into the dimly lit shadows that protruded off from the weather roof of the wagon; encasing him in the darkness that would hide his blood ridden robe. The man began to debrief the five brave souls that had chosen to take up a bounty on this ‘special day’. The previously known bards who had made a swift escape from the feast of Remembrance had been hunted and tracked down to an exact location within the depths of the slum-filled Wick Woods of Haense. Wanting, and having a thirst...a hunger for knowledge, the Drifter rushingly sent the hunters out in desperation to finally get his payment from Hans; without enough knowledge of what troubles were to come. Approaching this old camp would give a hit of nostalgia for some, and traumatizing memories to others, as this camp would be the remnants of the old pit that those who had bravely fought the cultists were put into brutal combat against the cannibalistic cultists. The group of 5 had devised a plan of attack, by having 2 of their main forces flank around the dim woods, and set up a crossbow in the foliage that obstructed the view of those in the camp from seeing the two. Though, to their surprise, a man clad in dark armor, who had one of the many tormented and shackled slum-dwellers at his mercy; as he would lead the poor, lad out to toward this body filled trench that had been dug down into the ground. Taking this opportunity, the group that sat in front of the gates would begin an assault on the camp as Fyodor flung out an arrow that would daze the knight; allowing for the shackled slum dweller to escape. The three men made their stealthy charge that would prove to be less quiet than they would think, alerting the camp of their where abouts immediately. As they would begin this fight at a heavy disadvantage, things would only get worse as the hedge knight from before, that had been heaviliy dazed, would return to the fight with a rage filled presence. Though the brave Jackson would step up to take himm on in order to prevent a flank. Meanwhile, on the other side of the camp, Ser Ruben Ruthern and Hans Dragovitch would keep a steady eye out for the bards who had escaped the hunter’s grasp from their last encounter at the Feast of Rememberance. They would eventually spot the two bards atop a small throne that had been formed by the remnants of a tree. A ranger would sit on the throne, watching as her forces fought. Ruben would take this oppritunity to fire a well placed bolt at the ranger; though this wouldn’t be enough to finish her off, as her and the bards would begin to make a run for it. Eventually, Hans would run her down and viciously cleave her in two with his claymore that would also have a part in knocking the bards unconscious. On the other side of combat things were looking quite bleak for the group of three, these opponents starting to prove to be to much for them to handle. Though their hope, and morale dwindled, cascading downard in a spiral, Hans would put a stop to this as he’d appear from the other side of the camp to save his comrades. After a very long and brutal battle that would result in heavy injuries, this encounter seemed to be finally over after a carrion cocktail would be lobbed into the air by Fyodor, raining flames down onto slum dwellers below. This would result in many of them running from the camp as they’d even trample a small child in their tracks. Eventually, the group pinned the bards against a nearby tree, interrogating and tormenting their distraught soul’s. After finding out about the where abouts, leading to where Hans’s (event npc) daughter was being held, Thorn would inhumanely and humiliatingly end both of their lives in excruciating pain, showing them no mercy. Upon their return to the Drifter, the blood covered group would inform him to quench the need for knowledge that would satisfy him. The Drifter has seemed a bit desperate, and...impatient, to say the least, in these past few years. The man also has seemed to be getting all the more soft through his aging, and now facing death.
