Description of what this is: When I first came to LOTC, I was fascinated by all the different groups and communities that had make their mark on the world of Almaris. I didnt know exactly where the best place to rp was, so I decided to check them all out, do some research on how each society worked, and share my findings with the rest of the world. I remember having amazing conversations with people like @AquaticWolf, @Axelu, @Mady, among many others whose forum names I do not know (sorry). It was a simple mission, but little did I know, it did not even begin scratch the surface of the world's complexity and historical depth. The finished work is linked below. But the above video is the ooc recorded portion of what was discussed so many years ago (5 years. SHEEESH). It is uneditted because I dont think I or anyone else cares about the flashiness of this one, its significance is more in the voices and the topics discussed.

We historians and journalers are a rare kind, so just know it was a pleasure to interact which what you made, even if I never interacted with you yourself. I will give 2 answers, one for each; OOCly, I have thought about this a lot, but one of the sticking points that my mind keeps drawing back to is when I was in a vc with a bunch of new(er) players in some server I dont remember, this was during the Aevos era. The topic of previous maps had come up, and I was telling them about my experience with my first community: of late-stage human Sutica in Almaris. It was basically me answering their questions and giving my philosophies on how things happened the way they did, why they happened, etc. But I loved it very much because I felt like a professor or some sort of historian really keeping memories alive by passing them along and helping new players get into the history of the server like I was passionate about when first joining. IRPly, this one is even harder to put a finger on, because there have just been so many fantastic and impactful (even if unpleasant) moments with my characters on this server. And after a literal 10 minutes of sitting at this computer thinking... I have to say that I cannot yet pick a true favorite. I WILL, however, share a pretty cool story that I am proud of. This was during the Almaris Era, when I was a leader of House Bishop (5th Patriarch), I had been instilling a military mindset in my community for a long time, and recruiting irply and oocly for quite a while. So the time eventually came, when we could put our skills and merit to the test. There was a military training planned in Balian, and I asked if we could make a joint-training between their army and my House's rally. They agreed, and I ended up bringing more people than their nation's army did (about 9-10 in total). I was very proud of this, but it ended up not mattering at all; because the training was cancelled due to reports of an incoming raid - WHICH ALSO NEVER CAME!!! - So in the end I wound up dragging my biggest rally across the world just to stand in the square for 2 hours... But good on my boys for keeping morale and not de-rallying for that long stretch of time. Ever since I was a child, at least after the point where my mother stopped choosing what I wore, I had a very basic style; 'classy, not flashy'. I would say that I try to make my clothing the least interesting thing about me (sometimes hurting my charisma with the ladies, but thats how it goes, eh)... BUT I do indeed have a favorite piece of clothing: It is a horizontally stripped, dark blue and dark grey long-sleeved shirt, thick knit, and very breathable. If I had infinite money, I (and this is not a joke) would simply buy 12 of those shirts and wear them every day. Like the sims. It was great for casual wear, semi-formal wear, and lounge-wear. Sadly, I do not wear it too much anymore because it has grown some holes, and I have had it since 6th grade. But sometimes, it still fits, so it has not seen its last days yet and I pray it wont for a long time. They won the battle (and the war), but our THIRST for independence will always persist!!!!!!!!

I have never done an AMA, on purpose; for what purpose? To make this one special. In 3 days, it will be February 10th, marking my departure from dedicated rp on this server.
