These fiery halls know her well. Again and again, the demons drag her into this personal hell, a place where she returns to fear that feels like a familiar wound. She has made solace from it, the rhythm of the pain. Yet, here stood a stranger clad in a wolf’s pelt and dried blood across his face bargaining for their lives like it was his to bargain for. She could not blame him, he did not understand that she had learned to breathe in the smoke. A hand was held out, a sense of safety being given as they were offered to leave unharmed for the most part. Her agonised screams still echoed within the very walls of this damned place, a sound all within likely had grown to recognise in some sick sense. He tore her from the ritual of agony she had mastered, took her somewhere else, somewhere he deemed safe. And so he sealed her fate, damned her to more pain he unknowingly set upon her. Return willingly, or do not. The latter? The latter is a fate worse than the flames of eternal hell.

Alysanna stared down at the paper, somewhere within herself she hoped it would be a good thing to receive an invitation.. Instead she was hit with the death of someone she holds so dear, "Oh, Sybille..." She spoke out softly, staring down at the words like they would magically reword themselves and something else would be written in its stead.

"You've been summoned." Alysanna would mutter out, drinking her tea as she glanced over at her husband then, "He does realise he has no power over you, surely? He cannot be that daft.." She tossed the paper aside then, taking a deep breath as she instead stared out from their kitchen's balcony then, "I suppose we'll see where this goes." @Animael

Alysanna stared at the paper before her, narrowing her eyes ever so slightly as she read the words. Again, and again she tried to make sense of it. She turned to her husband then, "You knew of this? Did you? When was this decided?" She asked question after question, confused as to how something like this could happen without even telling those who lived there, letting it be up to a select few instead. She she merely put the paper aside and let Lucius speak. @Animael

My journey as a Rostova has been a testing and trying one. I have seen wars wherein friends and family clash steel with steel, fighting for a side which were once united. My place of birth felled, conquered and abolished. My family, shattered. The passing of my father was the first foundation in which to break. Then came the loss of my first husband. The wall was shattering, my grip on my family and its heritage waning with each passing breath. But now I stand anew, refreshed and revitalized, and it is with that notion I make this claim. I, Alysanna Maya Rostova, renounce my Rostova name, and any titles that may be inherited or claimed. My children, not of de Alencar or of de Sylva past and present, may lay claim to the titles and heritage save for my eldest, Mirabella Helena Anastasia Rostova. In place, My husband, children and I take the name of de Sylva. With it, we shall begin our own journey, write new stories and forge a new heritage of which I believe my children will be proud to look upon. This change does not come easily but at forty years of age, it is now my time to do what I wish. To stride ahead, head held high, knowing that I gave my all to my beginnings and now, will do the same to my future. Now is the time for change. Now is the time for my life to begin. ────────• . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁꒰ঌ·✦·໒꒱ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. •──────── Signed, Alysanna Maya de Sylva, Matriarch of House de Sylva

IMPERIAL LETTERS PATENT | Duchy of Krukiv
comatoseprincess replied to cadazio's topic in Letters Patent
Alysanna Rostova read the missive, the woman all but tossed it to the side as she got up, wondering how this was all going to end. -
The wind whispered through the tall grass, the scent of the earth being carried through it. Tightening her grip on the dagger in her hand, Camila’s eyes were wild and aware of her surroundings. She knew this wasn’t the smartest idea, coming out here all by herself in a foolish attempt to prove herself to her family, perhaps more so to herself. She’d been told again and again, do not hunt alone, Camila. However, she had disregarded their words, tossed them to the side as she stood here now, seeking out an animal she doesn’t know the name of. Bow strapped to her back, something she so rarely used, she was not prepared for this in the slightest, but she was hellbent on proving herself. Instead, now she stood by the entrance of the cave. The darkness looming just a few feet in front of her. The tracks led here, what could possibly be lurking in the cave? For a moment, a small moment, she did not want to know. She wanted to turn back and head home, yet fought against her instincts as she stepped closer, grip on the hilt of her knife growing stronger. “No, Camila.. Don’t, this is pathetic!” Shaking her head she stepped back, finally turning around. Snap. The woman came to a halt, that one sound sending shivers up her spine. Frozen in place, she didn’t run, she didn’t turn. She merely stood there for what felt like an eternity. And before she knew it something came running, heavy steps echoing out behind her. When she finally turned around to see what it was, it was too late, it was right in front of her as the manticore she’d once hunted with a group, now stood there facing her. The lonesome woman. Suddenly it all went dark, one moment it ran at her, the next her head was hitting the rocky ground which just a moment before was beneath her feet. A pool of red began to form around her head, the cloudy sky above her becoming a blur of colours. The dagger she clung onto tumbled onto the ground, and the beast she did not think she would face now standing over her. Going into this was a hopeful woman, a woman wishing to prove herself to those she loved, and instead she met her demise.

Alysanna sat with Celina in her arms, staring at the man's body covered by the blanket their daughter so kindly covered him with. She reached underneath it, grabbing his hand, "Rest now, my love.. I'll see you on the other side."

After Alysanna peered over his shoulder, reading the invitation, she merely nodded her head. She knew better than to push him.

The Second Regency of the Ravenstates
comatoseprincess replied to Based1Salmon's topic in Empire of Man
Alysanna looked at her husband after reading the missive, then she sighed ever so heavily, "We know what we need to do." Was all she said as she left the missive on the table, a conversation was much needed. -
Read the missive over Miguel's shoulder, she did not seem too pleased, "Are we going or are we sitting this one out?" She asked him, more concerned with other things as she walked away before he could even answer her.

Intertwined Souls - Wedding
comatoseprincess replied to yuiilindaos's topic in Grand Principality of Ravenmire
"Another wedding? We must go, my love." She stated as she showed the missive to Miguel, grinning from ear to ear, "Two weddings so close to one another, how much fun!" @Navigator -
OF STARS INTERTWINED.
comatoseprincess replied to Navigator's topic in Grand Principality of Ravenmire
The Princess would be looking at different materials, her main objective right now was to make the perfect dresses for her and Sabrina. She held out a white, creamy coloured silk fabric out to Miguel, "This one? It's perfect, is it not?" She beamed at the man, the man she would marry before she got to making their dresses. @Navigator -
Emergency Investment of Power, 2023
comatoseprincess replied to HeyitsNano's topic in Grand Principality of Ravenmire
Alysanna would recieve this missive from Alicent, her younger sister. She did not seem phased in the slightest. She looked at her sister, nodding her head slowly, "This was bound to happen with father being gone." And with that she dropped the subject. -
At the news of her father's death, Alysanna was overcome with emotion. The girl could not help but remember their last conversation, she wished only for it to have been a happier one. Now she stood there, tears streaming down her face as she wept for what she had lost. Who would walk her down the isle? Who would her children know as their grandfather? She could never forgive those who decided to end his life, for this was cruel and unjust. So the girl aimlessly walked around the city, her eyes wandering, almost like she was looking for Thorin, trying to see his face in those close by, yet she would not. It was a face she would never see again.

The Union of Marna & Rostova
comatoseprincess replied to Javert's topic in Grand Principality of Ravenmire
Alysanna stared at the invitation for a moment, the girl narrowing her eyes somewhat, "This will be interesting." She muttered out to herself before she placed it down, taking the time to pick out an outfit the joyous occasion it seems. -
Alysanna Rostova stepped forth, the girl now standing beside Miguel as they both stared at the walls of the city they call home. Silently, she lifted a hand, placing it ever so gently on his shoulder. Perhaps to comfort him, perhaps it was to comfort her. Either way, she wanted to ensure he knew he was not alone for as long as she was alive. - @Navigator
