I've had times where I've been inconceivably bored of the server for a lack of RP outlets, and times where I hit the jackpot on an RP circle and narratives to pursue. for my current circle of RP friends, the communities I engage with, combined with the ongoing eventline, I skew towards the latter to such a degree that the server has felt like an extensive DND campaign to me lately. there's always things LOTC can do to improve upon its systems but even for all of its shortcomings it's still a very powerful creative outlet if you know where to play your cards at

I've come to realize that between writing a novel, hosting my own DND campaign and finally starting the career I've been working towards for four years, maybe I'm just a little burnt out by time I finish all of my other daily things. Getting into the head of one character is difficult when you've been doing so for several characters all at once. I love this community (despite it containing a lot of... those people), but I guess I don't have the time for it? Exhausted, maybe. Also just tired of this setting in particular.

No I just wake up and realize I barely have time anymore to play this fun shit anymore.

Since joining LotC, I've spent more time on hiatus than I have active. Just take breaks when you need them, the server isn't going anywhere!
