  1. Gul Zu'Pzym had woven their way through the battle to get to the fallen Sorvian. Their attention less upon the mass gathering forming upon the Venator or the Prophet as others sought to lay claim to killing those which shined in light. They grabbed onto Jenom, took their remains off the field, then secured what seemed important. "I never got to make amends." Gul lamented. Though, now was certainly not the time for regrets.
  2. 1. If you wanted to bring one character to life who would it be? How do you rate their adaptability? 2. You found yourself waking up in LOTC. You are yourself. How do you rate survival chances? 3. Hows it going Smoke? :) Hope you been well buddy. Congrats on your first year. Hard Question: 4. All your characters are stuck in a PK situation with Dementio's list of characters. You can only save one character from Dime's character list and one of your own. They cannot be duo related. (Like you can't save Ulst and Zyaire OR The Count and Countess)
  3. Those who know. Tbh I just suck at making titles for LFGs.
  4. Greetings to all! I am in search of two participants on LOTC who are available to play some children in April for long term fun roleplay. These children will be raised alongside the Seventh Synod by their mother Gul Zu'Pzym, who is a Mystic within the group. Coming along on this journey means discovering a 'woven' background offered for both Player and Character to explore from their original bloodline, their adoptive family, and the Seventh Synod itself. *coughs* Fair warning; You'll be around a lot of Dark CAs. *Coughs* Opportunities are quite open for those wanting to try out new magics, a new group, and/or looking for different 'scenery'. Suggestions / Comments / Character Aid There are names which Gul Zu'Pzym has a preference on but it's totally welcome for players to decide at the end of the day! If you are willing to hear them out at the very least, I'd really appreciate it. 💙 I have a list of the genetics both dominant and recessive waiting for those wanting to talk appearances. I am not really good with making skins so I cannot offer such! Sorry! 😅 I have been tracking npc roleplay with them while in my care if any of the players want to know who they been introduced to. Players are highly encouraged to make up their own scenarios too. Otherwise, with all that offered, feel free to be as creative as you would like and I hope to hear from interested parties soon to talk on some more fun and hidden details. Thank you! First Child - Son [Status: Claimed] Character is available to be a Barrowborn which means they will have Vivication if you put up a FA before they reach their fifth year in game [currently they are all 1yo's]. Second Child - Son [Status: Claimed] Third Child - Daughter [Status: Claimed] Contacts Discord: TheHuntedRaven In Game: TheHuntedRaven Forums: TheHuntedRaven Updates Closed!
  5. For my character Avenly who is currently shelved but not forgotten; I would have to say the time she almost got her entire friend group killed because she tried to pet a baby mammoth in front of its [obviously] overprotective mother. I was still pretty new to the server at the time but it's definitely one of the reasons I stuck around in the server. [Star's Light will forever be in my heart] For my character Gul Zu'Pzym - who was formally known as Svanhild and has since taken over as my 'main' - I think her entire being shifted a bit drastically once her adoptive father fell and again when her cousin [who will always be her sister] fell. The unexpectedness of it had pushed some amazing character growth onto her in quite a few unexpected twists but also marked the end times to her journey around the 'Light'. [Good memories.. while it lasted] Actually, I would still say that there is a looot of things Svanhild as a character still heavily impacts me personally from her younger years because there are many tokens I have saved from her youth - something I continue to do is collect 'talismans' and write out her stats like victories, losses, injures, etc [iykyk]. The longest of them was gifted to her back in April - when I started playing her.
  6. I am incredibly biased. It's the only magic/feat I truly learned through my characters... So, there is no comparison in my eyes. For a bit more context, If my characters don't learn it, I don't try to learn it. While it has its moments, I definitely will [always] give it a 9. Being a Shepherd has been a blast.
  7. Greetings to all who wander into this little corner of mine. :) Today marks the day I joined back in 2025... so I get to finally post this! [I have been so excited to post this AMA since like October lmfao.] Honestly, in the moment that I write this; it now actually feels really surreal. One moment I am thinking I cannot believe it is going to be a year, time passes, and now looking back; It feels like 'where did the time go' and 'how has it only been a year'? It has been to my absolute joy that I was capable of finding the friends I have made along the way. You all know who you are! I couldn't have gotten this far without you. 💜 There is so much I hope to keep exploring within my second year! Though, for now, here is to another year of LOTC filled with hopefully even more friends, evil schemes, and light-hearted shenanigans. :) Ask me anything you'd like - I will make responses when I can! - TheHuntedRaven
  8. A lopsided, playful grin twisted into wickedness on the expression of Gul Zu'Pzym the further they read the contents of the missive. "It appears the cat is out of the bag, Yhl'Flaaowni." The one with many names chortled to no one beneath the Oak Tree. The paper was neatly folded four times before being set within their pocket. Fortunately, the destination does not change, only the course in which one takes. "These things are inevitable," They muse. "yet the march must continue." A blank piece of parchment was set against the flat surface of a retrieved Codex. Quietly, words would find the page in their hand.
  9. Why begin this with 'In recent years'? /gen I have never held this CA though I know those who have it. They have always played true and fair to their characters and confines. This feels like a weapon's lore fix that includes ignoring the material and CA lore. This is like putting a band-aid on a fractured leg. It's not broken. This seems to be just a post on many counts of [alleged] mistreatment/diagnostics. Keep in mind there has been a rise in new Pale Knight CAs apps in recent months as well. Rather than simply going to any of the people who have given any CAs, MAs, FAs a lower reputation people instead want to change something that effects everyone in that CA. There are reasons for certain lore being in place and why these CA describes their skills, abilities, or feats. Its what makes them different from an average descendant [and why applications are required]. If this is a case of a battle gone wrong and someone is upset... the best in character lesson to learn is to pick your battles more wisely. /lh -1 to this [no hate].
  10. Allen Manners 'Bluefern'. The name was foreign upon the tongue when it was uttered by Viath shortly after gazing into Ebrietaes. The woman stared through the hindered waters beneath tree, sky, and the shadows themselves. Such venture had been done entirely for other matters when she had felt a tug. It was not beyond her. She knew this soul. A pretender who once held a name they did not deserve from the grace of a man who was far more forgiving than she. The point she held as a child still stood even today; he was not kin and never had been. He was Allen the Mannerless, the Pretentious Man-Child. Yet, had it not been for Allen the Mannerless... "Perhaps it is time to thank him." The only trueborn Daughter of Flynnigan and Wynather Bluefern grinned wickedly, content. "After all, if I never had left Vjardengrad that day... Where would I be? Who would I be? as what? "
  11. Hi all. Just going to scoot on in here and show some appreciation down this way.

I joined Lord of the Craft back in February of this year. Since my first days on the server, I have had the absolute privilege to find myself among several amazing communities and to know many of its members across my three characters; Svanhild Bluefern, Elyon Snowell, and Avenly Rauðrdrakar.

I've given private messages out to those who have made their journeys an amazing personal experience. However, the rest of that story wouldn't have been without the entire LOTC community making Aevos and Azuras feel alive in every way. Thank you to the staff team for all you do and Thank you to the players who've touched upon the journey of my three characters while moving on with their own. :)

I wish anyone reading this a Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it. If you don't celebrate it, I hope you have a great remainder of the year. - R

  12. It has been a joy to roleplay with you! I cannot wait to see how these characters continue to develop & I look forward to seeing their stories progress! Keep up the amazing work, Smoke!
  13. The figure kneeled with difficulty beside the butchered corpse of the Kha that had been a childhood friend. An armored hand reached out hovering above the expressionless face to feel for signs of life or soul, unblinking gaze settling on the wounds which made his end. The hand fell away when attention shifted to the marked grave Ronan created. Talisman nodded slowly to themselves steadying their focus to Ronan once more. Though, he could not hear, three souls resonated separately their own parting words on that lonely hill. "Rest knowing you will not be forgotten." - "We will see each other again." - "All come to know Altrun Zu'brikas." By hand, Talisman dug the grave well into the late evening beside the memorial of his father. They found the wooden cross Roran created abandoned in taller grass, plunging it into the dirt behind the hole. With preparation made, Talisman sought the body of Ronan and as one warrior to another; laid him to rest. Yet, something nagged at Talisman to search around for clues. Eventually, after searching through tall grass, they plucked the sword from the foliage. They tied it to their left hip beside the Pursuer's Warhammer; now a token of the Kha's past. Now, to be carried on in their march. Silently, they guarded the two mounds of dirt through the night. By dawn, the sword and its new holder had disappeared into the wilderness of Kalldur leaving another piece of the past behind them. For now.
  14. My characters could fill this chat with some major tea but I've always been a bit too proud for Talisman traumatizing one of her students. Talisman had broken her own student's nose, bashed their knee against the side of the ship, pushed him over the edge of the ship so his head was submerged in the water, kept him pinned there for half a minute with an edge of a shield digging into their ankle, then let him go so he had to find his own way back aboard. He returned and got an earful just to be given sweet words of comfort after. Nearly killed them because he called them the name Talisman no longer goes by.
  15. Putting this out there for transparency;

I really had no idea that a item could be given those effects.

My frustrations came from what I believed valid placement. Even if it is end of map, why would that be okay? It's still a roleplay server. I do have my times where I boop my friends but I don't go out of my way to do it for almost an hour while folks are visibly upset & rping.

Yes I did believe it was staff messing around because who would ever imagine a regular player would be given out such a thing? If the staff knew there were complaints, they knew the cause, why was it allowed to continue?

When I knew he was departing back toward Numendil's market/housing I stopped chasing immediately.

Its just a stick that hits you further than a normal punch. It really doesn't require a big level of upset from anyone.

Albeit, it isn't your fault you didn't know that could exist. You're correct to make a report of you think someone's hacking.  It doesn't really make a difference if the normal players knew or didn't know, it was pretty much on the relevant mods to figure out what was happening and actually communicate - which they just didn't.

Hello! I truly meant my apology in regard to upsetting you, as I said in my appeal your looc messages were far from visible to me. I also meant that I intended no harm and was just messing around at an hour that I assumed nobody would mind and could have a laugh about. Either way i understand your frustration and in no way posted this appeal with the intent of belittling you for making the report or being annoyed, rather, I made it because I felt that staff could’ve communicated to me “hey they are like genuinely fired up and triggered by this” and/or taken the item and not let me carry on for a bit longer with me blissfully unaware of your personal feelings

Also the same thing I said about nuker publicly, if anyone attacks you send them to me and I’ll shut them down. It’s not about you guys and I have nothing against you nor wish for anyone to be upset with you over it

  16. It was rare circumstance for any missives to fall into their hands. Yet, of any missive, it was this one that had arrived. The ever-present smile upon the bronze metal betrayed a frown that was worn beneath. Talisman let out a hiss between their teeth. They fight like children over toys while the world collapses around them. I wonder... where the next knife come from and to whom will it strike? The missive was handed back before attention returned to those discussing the matters. Their own voice would eventually rise making their opinions known. Those who were blind no longer will be. Talisman thought later that night when all had been said, and they were once again left alone. May those of which were responsible sleep with one eye open when it all comes unraveling before them.
  17. The greatest enemy to Aevos had slowly begun to chip away at everything they had ever known. For Svanhild? This twenty-year-old had just lost her sister, Svala, to the Nothern Storms. She thought she lost her sanctuary, her safe place, only to never find out the defenses held out. This warrior fought against these forces to stop those close to her from losing their homes in Petra. She failed. A vigil for Svala was cut short. Wrath, her guide, led her actions as every stride led her toward New Valdev alone. A desire to stir the wasp nest led her to toss the bomb on that bridge. This incapacitated three of the thirteen Golden Vines that stood like stone. Ten marched to the end of that bridge as she prepared her dagger next. With a toss, another fell. They spread out. Some less wiser than others to where the hidden one waited to ambush. Something stirred within New Valdev. Fiery wings spread like a shroud over the land as the elemental fire wyvern flew overhead, knocking her on her back. Forgoing her Ambush, she took to denser trees waiting for those forces to close in as the creature seemed not to notice her. She slammed into the first with war hammer raised, denting his armor as he attempted a search. The next came from the right to stab her with its spear. This spear was deflected. With the opening created, the Garenbrig Soldier killed her fifth the same moment a third's spear sought Svanhild. This heavy attack caught her in the center mass. The woman stumbled back into the Golden Vine who tackled her aside two paces. Svanhild, enraged, lashed back. Her sword found purchase killing the sixth. "Bastards!" Svanhild wailed into the darkness of the night. The seventh fell quicker with a mock thrust of her sword, and the strike of her hammer. Yet, no matter how many she was killing, it was like fighting the tides. The last three had come with reinforcements. They had all closed in on her. A spear was lofted toward her! This one striking her torso. Another stumble, another fall. Agony filled her being. The lass barely escaped the next spear. The one lodged within her ripped and tore at her organs as she fled. Svanhild managed to escape with what remained of her life. It was enough to get to Numendil. Seven deaths to the Mountain Forces for the loss of one? It would never be enough. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- To the dismay of many, there would be no waking from unconsciousness even after Einin's success in surgery. So, with a slow, reverent motion, Boromir lowered his blade—swift and precise across her throat. There was no hesitation, only a final act of mercy carried out with a trembling hand. Thus, Svanhild Bluefern had died with Ser Boromir and Ser Kieran at her side. That begged the sole question... who had woken up in place of Svanhild Bluefern? That remained to be seen. One thing was certain; they would not be the same and their time in Numendil was at end. While friends and family mourn the girl who was; little do they know... the one that remains still marches on.
  18. "Truly, no word or action will ever be enough justice to show how much this Pale Lord had meant to this tiny daughter of Horen." Deep within the abandoned ruins, under the many flickering stars, the teenager stood upon a rocky cleft. Numbness had woven beneath her flesh in a way it has never done before. -==--==--==--==--==--==- Dread threatened to freeze the blood in her veins. Fury lashed at her heart to stoke flames of hatred. Emptiness pled with her to help the teen feel absolutely nothing. Yet, it was the quiet, slow process of grief that had won out for now. Tears shed. -==--==--==--==--==--==- "Nae part of death, distance, or time will squander it." Those words mumbled to be shared of their kinship into the darkness of Veletz. The cold winds from the north cascaded. The gale slamming her with force. However, this unmoving figure went as undisturbed as the walls around her rooted where she stood. Calmness and Clarity washed over the storm threatening her choices after the loss of the one that mattered to her most. She tried to imagine in that moment what he would say. Yet, it was only her own voice in which she answered her biggest question. Perhaps, it was not two purposes lost. Rather, only now, were new purposes gained. He had every confidence in you. The storm that waged war within her finally brokered peace. -==--==--==--==--==--==- "May you dream well, Father. My only regret is knowing you will nae witness what will be." She uttered softly in final words.

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example: A moment of silence passed as Avenly Harlowe thought quietly to herself. 'Well, perhaps it wouldn't hurt..' A hum left her lips as she got comfortable in her seat. "Most of my life, I wanted to know what was beyond the horizon. I grew up in quiet wilds, raised by my parents who loved to study the local flora and fauna. I was brought up alongside my two older brothers learning how to live off our homeland. While my brothers played knights or archers, I played the helpful healer coming to their aid." As memories surfaced, she smiled though it was brief with a somber tone taking over. "Until they left to follow their dream. They always said when I was old enough, my brothers would come back for me.. but, they never did." A frown touched her face, but only for a moment. Her eyes formed a foggy sheen, a telling sign of hardships which left more questions than answers. "One day, I hope to reunite with them. Until then, I will follow my dream as they did."
