Obstacle courses - Spleef - Mazes - Puzzles - Building Contests you name it ! ~ (They haven't left details on the games that they will be holding - mostly to keep people on their toes I'd suspect - no training!)

Ahoy LoTC ! Recently, a Public Relations Representative from "GamerNorth" in association with "SuperEarth" spoke to me on team-speak about a Minecraft Olympic event between the top tier servers on Minecraft ~ As you can see, we've been invited and I've been told that we may bring up to twenty competitors. Now I come to you, the players and potential Olympians - How do you prefer we choose our champions? 1) Have anyone interested, put their names down in a thread. Then I write them down and pull them out of a hat via live-stream. 2) Have players nominate candidates, then vote on those whom they wish. 3) 10 Are chosen by vote & 10 are chosen out of the hat. Other Notes: -LoTC will recieve it's own plot of land on the server for us to decorate and embody what the LoTC experience is ! -Olympiad competitors will also receive VIP benefits for attending this monumental occasion ~

NewsCraft wanted to make sure the right type of minecrafters were there to help launch the web-page, who better then LoTC players? :wink:

See'ing as NewsCraft.net is purely a community website and not a server oriented website, yes that is fine. But I want to encourage you guys to participate in all kinds of threads or contests there on newscraft, it's still growing!

Greetings LoTC! As some of you may remember, MCQuarterly gave us a spot in their Minecraft web-magazine and have offered to do so again this time around. What MCQuarterly has ALSO done is create a BRAND NEW Minecraft website and forum caled "NewsCraft". www.NewsCraft.net NewsCraft is a completely community driven web-site that keeps up with all-things-minecraft, without the spam! Minecraft definitely needs this addition to the community, and I'm proud to say they've brought me onto the team. This gives you guys the chance to be some of the founding members, so register as soon as you can and get some posts made! When NewsCraft grows into the powerful HUB we know it can, it'll be one of the best place for us to tell people about LoTC.
