The sounds of the grand halls faded away as I took my first steps out of Kal’Urguan. As I left, I had vivid memories of what I was leaving behind. I remembered the sounds of pickaxes clanking against the ores of the finest mines, the cheerful sound of dwarves gathering for ale, and most of all, the gold of the throne surrounding me. I wasn’t sure I made the right choice of stepping down, but it happened, I already made my decision. King Algrim will be taking over and I could not go back. I quickly tried to clear the memories from my head as I began to sort out what I would do next in my life as an old man. I figured I would need a home, perhaps a nice house my a beach, so I could just relax and get away for awhile. I came upon the newly constructed Whisper Isles, a human city. All of the homes were surrounded by water, I began to think I could begin an occupation here as a fisherman. I quickly found Brett, the owner of the Isles. I found a nice home on the water, it was small, but I didn’t have reason for a grander one. I made myself some fisherman gear and put together my first rod as I prepared to start my new life, peaceful, and relaxing life. I began fishing from the back of my house, it was a challenging start but I quickly became use to it. After weeks of fishing, I decided to sell all of my fish at my old shop in Kal’Urguan. Money was never a problem for me, as many crowded my shop with their drooling mouths, ready for the finest fish of all of Aegis. I will be continuing my hobby for the last years of my life, as a Dwarven fisherman.
