I like Option 2 as long as the dwarven religion can stick around which it seems to be able to.

Maellik begins to lend his voice to Gungrim's as the song lights an inner fire. As he does so he gestures for others to join in and make the halls ring with dwarven song. ((Epic by the way))

Maellik sends a smoke ring flying from his lips, his face neutral. "Oi pray da wisdom ov Ogradhad was in dis treateh," he mutters, giving a soft sigh. "Toime will tell."

Maellik sits smoking his pipe thoughtfully as the argument grows. "From w'at oi've seen oi'd tink weh'd need ta be presented mo' infermashun 'bout dis treateh. Da grudges are important an' it should be in writin' dat da dwarves are allowed to enact swift justice on all weh 'ave a grudge wit'. Not onleh dat but oi tink it needs ta beh written dat not onleh can weh enact justice but will beh aided in our efforts by Oren wit' a zeal ta match our own. By no ot'er way would oi feel dis treateh in our interests. If da blades ov dose in Oren 'ew still 'ave 'ona were ta join ours in matched zeal den oi would feel dat da treateh is in da interests of da dwarves an da interests of completen da grudges." As Maellik finishes speaking he draws in a deep breath of smoke, releasing a large smoke ring to float to the cavern's ceiling.

Maellik walks up to Dormin. "Dormin, oi once could repair carbarum (diamond) tools, remember 'ow oi reforged yer sword? 'oweva, tins 'ave changed." Maellik looks at his stump then gestures towards the roster. "Take me off da list. Oi can no longa smit'."

Alright, I'm going to start off by saying that I cannot prove creation. However, evolution cannot be proved either. Now, for some reasons that I think evolution can't work. • The sea gets small amounts of salt building up in it each year. If the world was as old as evolution states the oceans would have enough salt in them to walk across. • The moon moves a small distance from the earth each year. If the world is as old as evolution states then the moon would have been scraping its surface in the beginning, successfully killing any animal that tried to climb out of the sea • It is basically a mathematical impossibility that even ONE protein would have been successfully created in the primordial soup, let alone enough to create a living organism. If you think about it, it makes more sense that a creator designed life rather than a soup that mathematically shouldn't have made anything was the start. • Law of Conservation of Matter says matter is never created or destroyed. The Big Bang theory is basically saying there was nothing but perhaps some particles. Somehow two particles in this nothing hit each other, blew up and managed to somehow create everything. In my mind it makes much more sense to believe in a creator than this. I can't prove a creator exists, I can't explain how he came to be or anything else. But, there is just as much in evolution, if not more, that cannot be explained. So, looking at the two, creation just makes more sense.

These doubts 'ave begun to fester in my moind an' because of dem oi turned to da Brathmordakin in prayer. In dere wisdom da gods 'ave shown me w'at oi should do. Oi shall be steppin' down from my position, takin' on da mantle of Bishop, no longer Archbishop. In ma place da gods 'ave chosen un 'ew will serve da people betta den me. Older den oi 'e shall show more wisdom, 'avin' seen mo' 'e will make more informed decisions. Per'aps in toime 'is leadership will mold me to where oi can once more take the mantle of Archbishop but until den it is my pleasure to inform ye dat da new Archbishop, chief voice of da Gods and religious leader of our nation is my fat'er, Phelrin Irongut, 'un of da oldest membas of da Kirkja Dverga. May da will of Yemekar an' da gods be 'eard!" ((Alright, to address OOC stuff. Basically I do not feel I am doing the best job at Archbishop. I am not active enough for such a position and seem to miss important events too much. I want the dwarven church to be something great and believe that Phelrin will be able to do this better than me. OOCly I'll still be helping out and Phelrin and I have decided that I will still run the church thread to prevent clutter, etc. However, Phelrin will now be the head in all things and will be the one involved with councils and stuff. I think this is the best way for things to go so congratulations to Phelrin!))
