      @_Jandy_ The value of the apple slices is all up to what the students perceive them to be. They could suddenly become useless if they student group started to think so. The increased amount of apple slices would not lower its value by default, it potentially could, but it could also present more opportunities for students to show others why they should earn an apple slice. This promotes goodwill and positive attitudes among the students, as the student who seems the most deserving will receive an apple slice, and with more slices going around, then more students are able to be rewarded  for good behavior.

      Rep doesn't reward good behavior or even good posts necessarily. Also if more money is flooded into an economy you get this thing called inflation, which causes money to lose its value. http://www.economicshelp.org/blog/634/economics/the-problem-with-printing-money/

      Yes, but that is because money is exchanged back and forth. Rep is much different since it is a one way deal. I see your point, but a slight increase of the rep cap (like +2 for every donator level) wouldn't just completely make rep less valuable than it is now.
