Unfortunately, Olaf, de' excavation did pass wit' Mylander n' Dominic headin' out n' inspectin' a new, powerful crystal. In de' near future, in a to-be-announced date, we will return tu Karik tu analyze dis crystal wit de aid o' a mage. Perhaps t'rough a series o' disenchantments n' spell-casting we will be able tu extrat de runes which bind de' crystal, n' utilize it fer de' kingdom. Also, I du t'ink a coming clan meeting be in order. Wut time wuuld suit mi' kinsman? (Thinking Saturday 1 pm est, or Friday 6:30 pm est. Is that okay with the following people? Let's find a time to discuss current clan buisness. Remember tu have signs, we've got many paths to many different cities. Can be confusin' fer a new dwarf, su have signs fer every crossroad.
-
( I also did RP with all major parties, mainly both Darius and Kjell and Morgrim)
-
( Don't remember when I weaseled my way out of trouble before )

*nods in unison with Morgrim's statement* The Dawnsworn had joined the cumulatively formed warband under not only false pretenses, but also in secrecy under the authorazation o' de Paragon, Kjell, to serve an ulterior motive in weeding out dissent and bringing forth unity. We will speak more later in the elven day regarding who the true culprits be n' who deserves de' ire o' our cities, but as of yet, the Ashen Warband solely fights under the king n' will purge any traitors or exiles.
-
We dun being foolish. As said, once we've received confirmation frum de' king, we will explain it all.
-
Dun wurry, dis'll be sorted out soon.

Dun wurry. Dis'll all be explained in de' near future.

Arbrek, we accept yer terms, fair 'uns d'ey be. Fer yer support n' pledging tu de Warband, we will bestow and preserve yer clan hall upon our capture of Kal'Dwain. And I never got de chance fer thankin' ye' fer yer bestowed honor. I apologize fer mi foul wurds, n' I hope we can wurk togedder n' forge power in dese trying times.
-
Aye, because the Dawnsworn and Blackaxe be de' 'uns tu organize dis warband, we are de' ones who've begun to dictate de' terms. If need be, udder clans who desire goals may have d'ere pleas submitted wid us. Capturing Kal'Dwain is solely fer spiteing de' King, fer it be his newest posession n' it also be de most fertile n' suitable location fer de' affairs o' de Warband.

*As you traverse through dwarf lands, you notice the thud of various troop movements and rag-tag dwarves scattering about. Approaching a thick notice, you inspect it for any clues for this oddity. You notice a variety of these notices spread across the dwarven lands* The Ashen Warband Committed to restore the glory days of the Dwarven Nation? Tired of being considered a petty nation of scrap and weakness? Acknowledge the king's wrath, impiety and corruption has gone too far? Wish to aid in the due process of honor and justice? Simply looking to train your blade and forge a new empire? If so, the Ashen Warband believes that you should join its ranks. Warriors, farmers, workers and all beings. The time has come to stand up to the ire King Kjell Ireheart, a self-proclaimed Paragon. He defiles the statues of old, murders and exiles without whims, and fails to bring back our honor as a kingdom. We cannot tolerate this and it will not return us to our former strengths of Aegis and prior. His actions have resulted in the culmination of this Warband. Together, gleaming of diamond and iron-clad ranks, armed with the legendary gold, we will bring back a golden dawn, a return to the Dwarven name. We will cause rubble, destruction and wrath left in our wake, ashes strewn across our face and our lands. But we fight not in the name of wrath and power, but to reclaim our lost honor from the clutches of our actions in Asulon. We require soldiers and vassals of all breeds and names. Through fighting with our warband, supplies and honor will be insured to you. Not only will you earn battle experience under some of the greatest Dwarven warriors, but also you will aid in forging a new dwarven kingdom, stronger which will rise from the ashes of ruin. Our objectives consists as follows... - Establish a fighting force, trained in Dwarven tactics and war planning. - Acquire Kal'Dwain, a capital fit for our warband. - Establish a government reflective of the olden ways of Aegis and prior, where the Dwarves championed. - Rule over said kingdom with justice, wisdom, honor and valor We will cease and desist, returning to the kingdom given... - Kal'Dwain is given as a Blackaxe-Dawnsworn (control) city - Kal'Dwain is ruled with its own governance, as so that we may champion ourselves to be great as we once were, without interference from direct tyranny. - Say in Dwarven government to represent ourselves, in Mt. Ire - Nobility bestow to both Dawnsworn-Blackaxes The choice is in his hands, whether he bestows war or liberty. Through these, the twin clans and its allies will insure our prosperity through the power of our Warbands might. Training, the planning of war and the planning of economics will begin promptly. If you wish to join the Warband, take and fill below note and hand it to Chief Warlords Hildr Dawnsworn (TheCrackerJack) and Morgrim Blackaxe (Zezimus). Leaders of the Ashband: Chief Warlord Hildr Dawnsworn Chief Warlord Morgrim Blackaxe Clans who've pledged to work under the Warband: Dawnsworn Blackaxes Starbreakers

I have followed de' king until he put a PHALLUS (****) on de' kings stature. Det wus de' breakin' point fer me, I cannae tolerate such corruption. While as dawnsworn I was tu faithfully abide mi' king, deep down how could I tolerate his killing and beatin's of dwarven kinsmen. I wuuld need a heart o' black to conceal it forever, n' d'us as I must make a stand, now det everyone sides wit Mogrim. N' if it even matter, de' starbreakers can have our noble position under a wicked king. We must prove honor, n' we will prove it here. Dun wurry, we will "do" something. Wedder our clan crumbles under de' inferno of Kjell's ire, or rises out o' de ashes like phoenixes, we will "do" something.

~~~A Grudge Against The Dawnsworn~~~
Ye' challenge us because we tell de' king as we are instructed tu du, n' because yew have proved dishonor tu yer king. Det is low. N' dun dare call us upstart, a clan who've been in hiding fer su long due to de' wrath o' former kings against our worship of de' truest gods. But,I tire of wurds. Let us prove honor d'en. I have awaited yew to establish when ye' wish tu prove yer honor. -
*Hildr steps up in front of Mogrim. She does not conceal her face or actions and begins to remark* Mogrim of wayward Blackaxe clan, splinter-dwarf, I heed yer wurds wit pride n' honor. None o' us had de' true gullet tu speak o' de king's foul injustices, until a rogue, an exile returned to our peoples. He has exiled n' killed innocents, slowed progress o' de kingdom, n' even defiled de statues of a paragon by emplacing a phallus, o' all t'ings. I cannae tolerate d'is, n' mi dawnsworn kinsmen can nae eider. I will not hide under hushed whispers or thick cloaks, but I speak open. I will assist ye' in endin' d'ese injustices. Join mi' warband, Mogrim n' we as equals will du what needs tu be dune, tu redeem our dwarven names, n' restore de' "dawn" o' de' dwarven age. Finally, I acknowledge de Blackaxes as a noble clan. *Hildr stares deeply at Mogrim. She knows her open words may cause unprecendented chaos and destruction, but she has been in hiding for so long she does not mind.*
D'un wurry, d'ese Starbreakers will have d'ere names sullied like the dirt o' charcoal. We'll have d'em destroyed in d'ese petty clan trial. N' hell, I'd even take clan war. Our warband wuuld trash de' starbreakers, send em back to de dirt de' once came frum. Give us a time, Arbrek n' we fight fer our supposed "honor". Honor isn't who has de' best miner, smither, and fighter, but we may git det tuu. N' by de way, d'ere be no honor in dictating de' terms as a challenger in a duel. Petty n' weak. -
(Accepted. You will be contacted IG to have your worth tested in the trials)
-
*Hildr quietly voices to herself* While ye've fled de' kingdom, I dun be considerin' ye' an anarchist. Some of what being going on bogglin' mi' mind. I hope it can be resolved. Tidin's, Stronghold.
( Mili, you can't use two aoccounts to RP one char, just to get more skills out of it...)
~~~A Grudge Against The Dawnsworn~~~

*glances at one of the posters. Raising her eyebrow, she lets a quiet chortle before remarking* I knew golems were dumb, but dis 'un just be feckin' stupid. Challengin' someone to a clan duel fer obeyin' d'ere king , n' Paragon, who gave de' order tu report any occupied cities? Dis kind action be promoting civil war. None o' d'ese trials even promote honor, it just be testin' who got de' better fighter, miner n' smither. Bunch o' hogwash, conjured out o' de golems stone-ass most likely. Wut a fecking joke. I'm sure Kjell will nae like d'is seperatist thought, especially wid de' clan war. Ye' think ye' blokes will git noble clan if ye' continue to cause trouble n' discivilities. Stupid golems...If ye' wunt clan war or yer "clan grudges", come git it. But know ye'll face de' ire o' a fearsome noble clan, d'ere warband, n' de backin' o' d'ere fair king. -
*glances at the reports, and opens her eyes in excitement. Quickly however she calms herself and mutters to Kjell* Most t'anks, mi'fair king. I will led mi'noble warband wid grace n' insure future dwarf prosperity. But I du gut a question, why du de Starbreakers even gut de option o' leading a noble clan? Not only dey small, but dey are contested fer heresy. Let de' braveaxes have de' spot, I say.

(( And as dwarves, unless Hiebe is willing to use necromancy (which idk if he knows how to do), we would not be able to cast necromancer spells. So... ))

( you said mili isn't dawnsworn and my char doesnt know your other char so I can't give you the note )

(The note IC is only visible to Dawnsworn clan members)

*A thick parchment unfurls beneath the feet against various Dawnsworn clan members. A raven lofts itself in a tree above them, eyeing them eagerly* To my fellow kinsmen, Greetings. Much was accomplished at our clan meeting. I bring finalized pictures of not only our newly acquired estate (owned under the Powederkeg Company, owners myself and Gimrik Braveaxe), the Powderkeg Grange, a fertile region of farms and brewing tanks, but also at the end a thick sketch of our first acolytes and myself. I bid all of you well-hearts, good spirits, and piety to the true gods. Make sure to spread the word of the new meadery and brewery, and bring faith to non-believers. Dawn never asunder, Hildr Dawnsworn. P.S.: Remember our clan excavation this elven weekend (Sunday 1 PM EST) *The sketches lay strewn among the parchment*
