Soon after Alan became a citizen of Salvus he decided he wanted to join the Bard's guild. He entered the inner city and discovered a piece of parchment carefully hanging next to the entrance of the Bard's Guild. He tore it off, went home, dipped a feather in a pot of ink and started to write.
