I'm sorry but you'll need alot more roleplay than that. Why is your order is such a dire need of land? And why here? Why now? Why you? Consider some of these things when making the war claim.

I'll have to say I hope this Nordic village works out .((irl family history bla bla bla)) However to chime in with my two cents keep to simple one large room longhouses/raised balcony like a barn if needed. As for government simple chieftain no council as a leader, realistically it is more accurate plus it allows for more efficient ruling in small settlements with the next chief will be the heir of the past as he was raised by his father to one day lead his people. In regards to a bad chieftain there are countless times where if a king/chief was bad they would get rid of him or on death and still place the son in command as he was a trained leader who carried on the clan name. As for elder council typically the as a whole can simply vote on death/banishment however on electing a new chief that would only be done if there was no heir to the recently killed/banished leader. On that note good luck and perhaps send me a message when you guys go live...I would love to RP a little in a village like such.(new character)

The reason for Laurelin to become a city is because we have the ample amount of support and members to go straight to a city charter. We feel we have the resources and the manpower to set our stake in Asulon as a well known city. As the Holy Oren Empire continues to expand...The violence in the lands of Asulon continue to increase. The empire continues to take more land from the human nations, and all beings found in Asulon fear that they will be next. The sole purpose of the creation of Laurelin is to develop an area where the peace can be held. All who wish to get away from the constant warfare will be welcomed with open arms. It will be a habitat for those innocent people who simply wish to live their lives worry-free and joyfully. It will be one of the very few tranquil locations on the map. Residents will contently live in a society where all are acquaintances are friends, and the conflicts are minimal. What do you see this city growing to become? We see the city of Laurelin becoming a safe-haven of those who wish to keep the peace. It will be a refuge to those who wish to keep the peace. For many scarred by the war, it will be an asylum, giving them security from the dangerous outside world. Laurelin’s society will work together to familiarize each other with their knowings, rather than conflict with each other like barbarians. The people of Laurelin will grow as one. Laurelin will attempt to be one hundred percent peaceful with others, but if a time comes where the call of battle comes, Laurelin will be prepared. We will have no use in silly quibbles, and military power will be only used if necessary. The city will not fight to the death, but rather fight only to restore the peace. We will not go beyond our limits; beyond what is possible to simply gain some extra power. Laurelin will not go on conquests to gain unnecessary territory. We will still seek one more shopkeeper. However what would my Mali'aheral brothers and sisters expect or enjoy to have in the marketplace as a service or commodity? Currently it will service as a full blacksmith and a general goods store however the primary stock is yet to be decided.

Shop keeper(1): The servant to the people, he or she is tasked with keeping the store stocked with only the freshest goods and finest materials. Capable of running the store on call. Wages will be paid upon their efforts on the store and the success of the market. All profits that are not given to the employees are to be placed into funds to support projects in the city.
