  1. Your Application has been Accepted ;) I could tell you were waiting to be reviewed. :D

  2. Accepted. Marvelous Application, I could tell you were waiting to be reviewed. ;3 Heh, welcome to Lord of the Craft! You will be manually implemented by a Global Moderator and then you will be able to play 2.5, our current map. 2.5 is "Elysium", the transitional period from Asulon, to our third map which has yet to be named. It may not have the best architecture but you can be dang sure the role-play is abundant and fun! :) -- Thu'um
  3. Denied. You may reapply after a period of 24 hours. Verdict/Justification: Your Application's Format is slightly difficult to read, being all one color. Your Application Lacks Effort/Detail. You understand the two concepts "IC" and "OOC", but you have a few errors in the role-playing definition: Orcs do not have to be evil, they are cursed with bloodlust but this does not make them evil. There are four races: Orc, Dwarf, Human, and Elf. I would assume your character would be human, should you reapply, I advise you change it to human. :P Your Biography is Short, Vague, and does not meet the minimum requirements. Also, it does not have any implementation of our lore -- your biography is your most important part of your application in essence, I would advise you develop it further and explain your character's actions and such. Your Biography is cliche. This would be a villainous trait, you cannot have anything Villainous in your application. You may (After being Accepted and Implemented for 2 WEEKS) apply for a Villain Application. However, this ambition is rather powergamey and unjustified. Your skin is not of the RP Standard, in Lord of the Craft, we do not have such suits or sunglasses - at times you could classify the server medieval-esque, such accessories would not be in existence, if in existence, undeveloped or fabricated. Your Open Response Questions are lacking and could use some improvement. Do not get discouraged, with perseverance you can get it! You may reapply after a period of 24 hours. Salutations, Thu'um.
  4. Accepted. This was a proficient application, but you have something that should be addressed: In your second ORQ (Open Response Question), this scenario contains an Orc and a Dwarf. You detailed the scenario well -- except there was one problem -- this wasn't enough to change your verdict but this is something you should know when you role-play. (Had you been applying for an Orc or Dwarf, the verdict may be different.) Dwarves had a certain accent -- which means they wouldn't speak in Plain English. http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/78314-dwarven-language/ - Dwarven Language Assistance Thread, though most likely you can find a better thread or even receive further information from people who play Dwarves. Orcs -- they do not speak plain English at all, This distinct small issue is not enough to weigh your application to Denied, and I believe that this application is accurate and adequate -- as it meets a majority of our criteria. You can read up on some of our lore to learn where precisely we are -- in Elysium -- travelling to 3.0, our next map. You will have to wait to be implemented by a GM (Global Moderator). I wish you good luck in your endeavors on LoTC! Salutations, Thu'um
  5. Denied. This is an adequate application, but you can tweak some things. Do not get discouraged, you may reapply after a period of 24 hours -- I believe you will be an excellent asset to our community! Your main reason for denial lies in your Biography, let me break it down for you: It could use some more implementation of our lore, and you've got some incorrect holes, but that is alright. The Holy Oren Empire is a Nation, not a city. In Asulon, its' capital was Arethor. However, in our current map, 2.5, this is a temporary map and is the transitional period from Asulon to our next map, 3.0 (Hasn't been named.) Lakesville is not a previous or existing settlement in Lord of the Craft. Try to have your character centered around an existing or previous settlement in LoTC in Aegis/Asulon. If you're feeling ambitious, you can even develop your character to the point where he reaches the docks to 2.5 (or Elysium, the current Isle which we are staying at as a transitional period.) -- I wish you good luck with your next application, should you reapply. I seriously encourage you to reapply -- your errors are really small but stand out :\ Salutations, Thu'um
  6. Bookmarking has been Added. Channel Group Breakdown is to come.
  7. Accepted. Your application is lacking at some points, such as your biography, but after observing some other crucial points of your application I am confident you possess a knowledge of role-playing. Please wait to be implemented by a Global Moderator. Also, Merry Christmas. ;_)

  10. Teamspeak 3 Guide: For New Players Introduction On Lord of the Craft, Teamspeak is a communication program that many of our members use to communicate about various matters, mainly OOC (Out of Character). Teamspeak at times can look confusing and hard to operate, but in essence it really isn't. This guide will help you navigate Teamspeak if you're new to using it or have used alternative VOIP (Voice over IP) programs. How to Download Teamspeak This will show in-depth steps to install Teamspeak to your computer. First, navigate to http://www.teamspeak.com When you reach the website, you will be prompted with something like this: Navigate towards the "Free Download" button. From there you will reach a License Agreement, which is required to Download the Setup. Simply hit "I Agree". After hitting "Submit", you may be prompted with a survey. If so, you may choose whether or not you will take it. Once you have arrived at the splash screen, Teamspeak will automatically download for you. From there, follow the instructions presented in the installation program and Teamspeak should be installed quite easily. Connecting to the LoTC Teamspeak Server Here's the slightly confusing part. When you connect to the Lord of the Craft Teamspeak Server, you will be prompted with a "Security Level" Interface. Ensure that you select the option to upgrade your security level, this process may take a few moments. Select your appropriate nickname and connect to the LoTC TS IP Address, ts.lordofthecraft.net When you hit connect, you will be prompted with a Security Level Interface. Hit start and your security level will be upgraded. This will be a one time thing. This process was implemented to make it easier to weed out any potential ban evaders and ban unwanted individuals from Teamspeak. Lord of the Craft Teamspeak Breakdown When you connect to the LoTC Teamspeak, you will see the following: There are a multitude of channels on the Lord of the Craft Teamspeak and some are protected by a password. The green channels are open channels, and the slightly tan channels are passworded channels. Rank Breakdown: -- Server Groups -- XS (Ex Staff Members): Ex Staff Member ranks on Teamspeak have slight advantages, they have certain unique permissions similar to the Nation Leader, which includes moving on certain channels. GM (Global Moderators): Global Moderators are Lord of the Craft GM's on Teamspeak. They have similar Teamspeak Permissions to an Admin. FM (Forum Moderators): Forum Moderators have similar Teamspeak Permissions to a Global Moderator on Teamspeak. They can move Teamspeak Members around different channels. A (Admins): Admins have all of the permissions on Teamspeak, and can modify virtually all of the attributes. N (Nation Leaders): Nation Leaders have similar permissions to XS and can kick/ban members from Teamspeak. G (Guides): Guides are Lord of the Craft Guides on Teamspeak. They can assist you with various matters on LoTC, and are usually found in the Assistance Channel. Additional Information Lord of the Craft Teamspeak IP Address: ts.lordofthecraft.net LoTC Teamspeak Server Credential Panel: Adding LoTC Teamspeak as a Bookmark. Adding the Teamspeak Server as a Bookmark can be beneficial, as it allows for quick and easy connection to the server without typing in the address and such. First, begin by clicking the following: Then, the Lord of the Craft Teamspeak will automatically add its' credentials to your Bookmark list: To use that newly added feature, simply navigate to the Bookmark menu and select the LoTC Tab as follows: -- This Guide is Under Construction, more will be added --
