  1. (OOC Details) Minecraft Name: 2ktaco Age: 16 (IC Details) Name: Gaspar DeSales Age: 24 Living Area: None, Currently Looking Money Situation - Poor, Middleclass, Wealthy: Poor Reason For Joining: I've seen the violence in the streets of Abresi time and again. The current government seems to be doing a poor job of policing its own streets and, when they do, they deal in swift death. I would like to see reform happen, sooner rather than later.
  2. Name: Calaedran ((MCName)): 2ktaco Origins of your birth, and your place of living: I was born in Haelun'or. Recently, I have lived the life of a nomad. How can you declare you are Mali'thill? My parents were Mali'thill, as were their parents before them. Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? I seek to settle down and, contribute to our society. I have been roaming for much to long. What is your personal vision for our blessed race? I believe that we are meant to be a beacon of civility, progress, and purity in a world of brutality, chaos, and dishonor. What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? It means progress and health. Two ideals that help define an ideal Mali. What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: Aver'ito nae'ohn. It means, Wander where you like, a mantra that has guided me for years. What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college? In light of a recent event, I think it will likely be a journalistic piece about practical medicine and, triage. What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together? I would attempt to learn the Mali's reasoning for the companionship. In my experience, the lesser races occasionally show rare signs of promise. If his reasoning is revealed to be unsatisfactory, I would be sure to make his choices know whenever I feel it is right. Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral? I am immensely grateful that you have allowed me to return to my birthplace. I look forward to my new life.
  3. If one happens to be wondering the streets of Abresi, Kralta, or Krugmar, they might notice a plain sheet of parchment hanging on a nearby post or, bulletin board. Should one deign to read this unremarkable flyer, they would find the following message- Greetings, friend! I, Prosper Strelt, am inviting you to stay at The Boats Slumber in Kralta! We have a few vacant rooms that are reasonably furnished, plenty of food, and a decent stock of a wide variety of drinks. We also serve Carrion Black, the signature beverage of Kralta. So, next time you are in Kralta, stop by The Boats Slumber for a bit of liquid relaxation! Below the tavern advertisement there is a small addition with the heading "A Request". It reads as follows- Salutations! I am Prosper Strelt and, I have come into possession of an immaculate bottle of strange wine. Its label reads "Auvergnat Blanc Du'Herbes". As I am not versed in fine wines, I am unsure about pricing for this presumedly one-of-a-kind wine. Any information pertaining to this vintage is welcome. I can receive this information by bird in Kralta.

You hear a yelp and rush in to find him dead, the three running down the alley. I would pursue the trio and, call for other Shields as soon as I was back on the streets whre my voice would carry. - Inside of the local inn you’re enjoying a nice mug of ale. You’ve had a few and you’re not in you best mind of judgement, nor are you in your uniform. A drunken man stumbles into you and believes you pushed him and begins to throw punches. What do you do? I would try to fend off his blows as best I could and, calm him with words. If this fails I would attempt to placate him wthout injuring him. - You are sent by Prince Lancel himself to achieve a mission that is of the highest importance. On your way out of the city you run into a higher ranked Shield who brings you into private and orders you to do a separate, non-linked high importance mission. What do you do? I would look about, if there is another Shield in sight I would give him the lesser assignment. If not, I would contne with my mission.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I’m a quiet kid with a small group of friends that consists, for the most part, of people who are almost as quiet as me. I like to read and, roleplay. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is the act of abusing OOC game mechanics and/or, info you have gained OOC for IC gain. In-Character: Character Name: My name is Hissaeldor Ischanar, pleased to meet you. What Race are you?: I am an Elf. What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I have been called a Wood Elf. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): “You were born in the land called Aegis. Your father was a Wood Elf huntsman of some years. He lived in a large forest and, took care of its trees. Nearby, there was a High Elf colony which he visited frequently. He visited because of a lady. She lived in a large palatial chateau of sorts and, every day, she would go sit at her window for hours staring at the forest. Meanwhile, down on the forest floor, your father was staring right back at her. He longed to know who that beautiful elf in the window was but, he knew he would never be allowed into a High Elf’s home. It ate him up inside to think that all that he wanted was kept from him by a simple matter of Elven pride. One day, while the High Elf was strolling in her garden, my father happened upon the rear fence of the chateau. The fence was a staggering three-and-a-half meter s tall, two feet of heavy stone and, about eight feet of ornate cast iron that curved outward at the top. He hopped onto the stone and, gripped with dark iron. Looking inside, he saw her. She was tending her flowers and, her back was to him. He surveyed the fence but, could find no way to climb it. She finished with the flowers she was tending and, moved to another flower bed closer to the fence. My father couldn’t take it anymore; he decided to talk to her. He took a moment to gather his thoughts. He stepped down off of the stone and, picked up a rock from the ground nearby. He took the rock and, tossed it over the fence so that it would land in front of where he was standing. The lady turned startled by the sudden clank and, was met by a strapping huntsman staring at her through the iron bars. “H-hello?” she choked out, “Who are you?” Your father made a short bow and said, “I am Anudor. What name do they give one as fair as you?” The lady blushed; she had been rather sheltered and, had rarely been given such blatant flattery. “I am called Olwen.” My father smiled and said, “I am blessed to have met one with such beauty. It has been a pleasure Olwen.” Then, he hopped of the fence and, sprinted of into the forest. After that meeting, the lady couldn’t stop thinking about the mysterious Anudor and, about a week after that, she snuck out to go find him. She wandered in the forest for two days and, one night looking for him. On nightfall of the second day, she found a tree with a sort of ladder hanging out of it. She climbed up to find a flat, round platform with a bedroll and, a supply of food. She climbed into the bedroll and, dozed off to sleep. The next morning she awoke to find Anudor sitting on the opposite side of the platform. “I see you’ve awoken. It is good to see you again but, I am curious as to how you found my flet. She rubbed her eyes and said, “You left the ladder down.” Anudor chuckled. “I thought I had forgotten something.” They continued talking and, laughing together. Olwen stayed with Anudor for a long while before she decided to go home. “And, when I did go home, I never saw Anudor again. My family was to set out for the land of Asulon. You were born a few moths berfore we left. You were sick for the entire trip but, you made it to Normandor in good shape. My father was outraged” said my mother, “It did not matter though, and I wasn’t going to let you, the last bit of Anudor I had, be taken away. You grew up here in Normandor with the other High Elf children. I had to fight to keep you in the city, seeing as your father was a Wood Elf, but I did it.” The slender elf pats her son, an equally slender half-breed with brown hair and, eyes. The child says,” Mother, do you miss father?” She nods. “Every day, I miss him even now.” The boy hugs his mother. “Mother, tell me about the Wood Elves again.” She sighs and, heaves him onto her lap. “Again? You’ve heard it a million times.” The boy nods and, looks up into his mother’s eyes. “I just like to hear it.” The woman smiles and, searches her brain for the familiar lyrics. There he lies, Beneath the stars, Blessed with grace, Favored of the forest. There he sleeps, With hair of gold, And skin of brown. Warden of the wood, The Wood Elf. The lady picks up her child who had dozed off to sleep during the recitation and, brings him to his room. She lays him on his bed and, pulls the covers snuggly up under his chin. “Good night Hissaeldor.” she says as she kisses his forehead, “And may you find yourself soon.” Thirty years later, Hissaeldor is thirty six years old, young for an elf, and on his way to find his place is the world. He never really fit in with the High Elves due to his mixed heritage. He heard of a Wood Elf city called Elandriel and, is on his way there. He wants to know what his father was like and, hopes that these Wood Elves can show him. He wants to learn to be a proper Wood Elf but, most of all; he just wants to be the kind of person that would make his father proud. What is your Character's ambitions?: I want to learn to be a proper Wood Elf, one that would make my father proud. I would like ot learn to use a bow aswell. I want to live in Elandriel, a place where I feel I belong. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): He plays the flute and, prefers that over weapons but, if it comes to fighting, he would use a dagger. (Clumsily mind you) What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Hissaeldor is quite skilled with the flute. Other than that, he likes to write poetry and, is light on his feet. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format): Other Information about your Character: Hissaeldor holds a kind of loving wariness towards High Elves. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Skipping away from Cloud Temple heading south towards Renatus, Hissaeldor repeats his mother Wood Elf poem to himself. He skips around a bend in the road and, is surprised to see the two men, bearing the crest of a local royal family, accosting the poor Halfling. He steps a bit closer and, clears his throat. “What is going on here?” The two soldiers turn around, their faces covered with surprise that quickly melts away when they see the young Elf. “What’s it to ya?” says the one on the left who bears a club and, buckler. “This ‘ere Halflin is a thief. He took the coin purse right off me belt.” says the second one, who bears a badly nicked long sword. “We’re just getting it back.” Hissaeldor sighs and points to the other man’s buckler. “Whose crest is that?” The man looks at his shield, “This is the crest of House Silverblade.” Hissaeldor nods and says, “Where is this house located?” The man with the sword points down the road. “It’s that way. Why?” Hissaeldor starts walking in the direction the man pointed and says, “I was going to report to the lord about you robbing innocent halflings.” The man’s face contorts into an expression of fear. “Unless you return his money and, leave that is.” The man nudges his comrade. “We better listen; I hear Count Silverblade isn’t too fond of this stuff.” The man nods reluctantly and, tosses the Halfling his money. “We’ll see you around Elf.” says the one with the buckler as they walk away. Hissaeldor walks over to the Halfling and, helps him up. “How’d you do that?” says the Halfling. “A lot of luck I suppose.” responds Hissaeldor. “Where are you headed little friend?” The Halfling points northward and says, “I’m headed to Cloud Temple.” Hissaeldor starts off in the opposite direction and calls back, “Another time then.” Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Hissaeldor walks up to the stall and, looks around at the extensive array of merchandise. “Ello there, what can I do you for today?” Hissaeldor looks up at the man and says, “How about some bread and, a bit of milk.” The man nods and, reaches into a chest behind the counter. He rummages around for a bit and, the clanking of bottles can be heard. He pulls out a bottle of milk and, sets it on the counter. Then, he goes to a shelf on the right side of the stall and, pulls out a fresh loaf of dark wheat bread. He sets the bread next to the milk and says, “That will be five minas.” Hissaeldor rubs his chin and says, “How much for another loaf?” “Three minas a loaf.” Hissaeldor shakes his head and, puts five minas on the table. “I’ll just take these.” He picks up the bread and milk, nods to the man, and walks away. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Hissaeldor steps quietly through the woods. Ahead of him, a deer bobs in and, out of sight between the trees. He raises the small bow he bought the day before and, nocks an arrow. The deer stops to nibble berries from a small bush and, Hissaeldor takes aim. He releases the arrow but, it flies too far to the right. The frightened deer scampers away and, Hissaeldor stows the bow. “Practice makes perfect.” he says to himself. He wanders a bit further and, stumbles upon a small hut. He calls out to see if anyone is inside but, no one replies so he goes inside. The interior is not much better than the exterior, which was shabby at best. There is a candle burning on the table so someone must have been here recently. Hissaeldor checks all the rooms, one main kitchen sitting room mix and, two smaller side rooms. In the last room, he finds a chest. He tugs on it but, it appears to be rusted shut. Drawing his dagger, he picks away at the rusty hinges. To his surprise, they simply fall off. He lifts the heavy lid off of the chest and, finds a golden sword inside along with two iron ingots. He picks up the golden sword and, examines, a long flat blade with an ornate hilt. He stows it alongside his bow and, picks up the ingots. The ingots are a bit too heavy to carry so he puts one back and, straps the other one to his back. Then, he exits the house and, heads back to town. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Hissaeldor wanders up to the camp and, is greeted by a burly man with a long brown beard separated into several different strands. “How goes it? Where are ye from and, what can we do for you?” Hissaeldor studies the big man. “Could you perhaps spare some food?” The big man nods and, ushers him inside the circle of tents. He then waves to a man sitting by the fire in the middle. “Theo, get this Elf some grub.” The man by the fire nods and, scoops some slop out of a pot hanging over the fire. The big man leads Hissaeldor to a log bench by the fire and, hands him the slop. “Eat up.” Hissaeldor looks at the slop which bubbles and, undulates. “What is it?” The big man laughs and says, “Sheep brains. It’s better than it looks.” Hissaeldor grimaces and, puts the bowl down. “I think I have lost my appetite.” The bearded man laughs and, takes the bowl. “Suit yourself, more for me I guess.” Hissaeldor gets up and, walks away from the fire but, then he turns around. “Is there a place I can sleep?” The man nods and, points to a tent. “Thank you.” Hissaeldor walks over to the tent and, goes inside. He finds a bed roll in the corner and, tucks himself in. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Hissaeldor sits in his second floor tavern room looking out the window at the town square. People hustle to and fro looking at stall and, listening to a priest preach from his make-shift pulpit. A small regiment of guards, about five, walk into the square from the east. Each is fully armed with a chest plate, buckler, and a long sword. They walk in formation, four of them arranged in a square following the fifth who wears a helmet. They reach the center of the square where the priest has his pulpit. The leader taps the priest on the shoulder and, asks him to let them borrow the pulpit for a moment. He is more than glad to after seeing the armed men. The leader steps up onto the pulpit and, clears his throat. “Citizens! Our great city is in danger! Even now, as you hurry about your daily lives, marauders mass outside our walls! I have been sent to offer a sum of fifty minas to every male willing to fight! What do you say men?” Hissaeldors considers this while the bigger men go and, sign on. After a moment his decides that he will offer his services to the soldiers. He goes down stairs and, outside into the square. By this time the line had died down and, the men had gone off to prepare. He walks up to the soldier and says, “I would like to fight.” The captain looks at him and, scoffs. “A bit small aren’t you? Can you even hold a sword?” “I can’t use a sword but, I’ve been practicing with my bow.” The Captain shakes his head. “We’ve got to many archers as it is, we don’t need another.” Hissaeldor nods and says, “What about a Flutist? I hear those keep the soldiers alert and, I can play alright.” The captain looks at him and, nods. “Let me hear a bit first and, then we’ll talk.” Hissaeldor takes out his flute and, plays a short enthusiastic piece that he thinks would be good at keeping someone alert. The captain nods and says, “Good enough. You’re but, you only get twenty five. I was told fifty for fighters and, you aren’t a fighter.” Hissaeldor nods and, goes back to his room to wait.
