  4. Industrious, methodical, practiced; they worked day and night, though no sun ever shone. Barked orders carried on the frigid winds, the towering arms of wooden cranes at their beck and call. With a discipline that only befit the Mali'fenn, stone after stone was laid forth, cemented by mortar. They worked tirelessly to implement the designs of their High Steward, Sarya Ithrandos. Even as they labored, their Mali'ker compatriots carved out stone, dirt, and ice beneath their feet. Where once there was a small settlement upon the fringes of civilization, there now arose the silhouettes of towers beneath the starless sky, built to withstand the battering winds and snow of the Rimeveld. Gradually, the scars of battle were covered; the work of savage raiders, dark Xionists, and a powerful apparition. The former slain, and the latter driven to the crypts' depths in its wounded state, the Snow Elves had bought much needed time. Their handiwork soon stood complete - a formidable city. Ikur'fiyem, home of the Snow Elves, had been reforged - even amidst the dark onslaught. Thus approaches the time for Mali'fenn and Mali'ker to purify the dual city of its dark assailants.

By way of a raven's dark wings, word is sent to each of the respondents; dropped from its talons, a simple parchment. "Meet me in-person, by the square or tavern of Ikur'fiyem, and we shall discuss your enlistment. I await you there." -Signed, Vytrek Tundrak
  7. "But of course - the succession of an 'aheral that seeks to reform a state should be determined by... the very government she seeks to upend. Makes sense," a Snow Elf muses to the silver princess at his flank. "Paper makes for a poor shield against steel. It is a shame that they did not surrender as you bid them."

  9. That Snow Elf dips his head, commenting back to the Silver Princess. "We could not ask for better neighbors, nor better lliran, than the people of Haense. I owe His Majesty a visit and my thanks. In the near future, certainly, I see the development of formal ties between the Elves and Men of the North." @Twinny

  11. A Snow Elf's brow perks as Ivarielle shows him the missive. "They invited Prince Amaesil to Haelun'or for diplomacy, and when he arrived, they threatened to kill him. If Haelun'or does not respect the diplomatic immunity of him, why would they respect yours?" @Twinny
  12. The Snow Elf at her flank ponders for but a moment, before suggesting, "If Othelu yet lives, you ought to seek him in-person. Your cause is just; your vision, bright. I am hopeful that he, too, shall come to see this."

  20. Steel-clad digits curl around the armrest of a marble throne, the Snow Elven prince staring down the Sohaer that the Silver Princedom had brought to his halls. As the Haelun'orian turns to leave - released by Ivarielle - the 'fenn can only wonder if he himself would have been so merciful.
  21. The Snow Elven prince offers a nod of approval upon reading the missive. "The noose grows tighter. To Elvendom, I am thankful."
  22. Vytrek Tundrak reads over the missive, nodding singularly. "As always, our valued neighbors to the west demonstrate wisdom and courage."
